going through a Fallout phase and I jumped back into fo4 recently and I can’t get over how fucking funny it is when you realise that after Sole Survivor helps Preston and gang, Preston thanks Sole Survivor by giving them a bunch of caps. Assuming you do the Concord mission immediately after finding Codsworth, your character has no idea that the common currency of 2287 is bottle caps. So, in your characters eyes Preston thanks you by giving you a shit ton of garbage. Sole Survivor is just like “you know what? Sure. Whatever. This is the most normal thing I’ve seen today”
