I was asked to make a comic about living with nerve pain. I could not help but see the irritated nerves as Katzenjammer Kids; obnoxious little shits when rowdy, sweet little angels when sleepy.

This lovely cat is Babygirl, who passed away 16 years ago. Her owner was kind enough to let me feature her as an extra in what I’m making. In the photo you can see she is a smokey tabby with very subtle markings. I used the couch to help inform the character, and in the bottom corner is how she is featured in the scene.

Because the roles vary, I’m giving everyone the same portrait treatment for the credits, that seems fair for their gracious participation.
