I don't even know where to begin.

I read this for the first time on a semi-long flight.

"Might as well bring an easy read to pass the time."

My eyes were glued to the book the entire flight. The art is absolutely beautiful. It's one of those books where it's greyscale except for bursts of a singular color, which I am obsessed with. The writing is so incredibly realistic to the experience of not being able to get out of a toxic relationship. The dialogue is powerful and meaningful.

It really hit home for me.

If you've ever had a lesbian situationship, this story will hit VERY close to home for you. Read with caution, but please read. I promise it's worth every emotion.

This book caught by eye in the store due to its beautiful blue coloring and tranquil looking art of cherry blossom branches. It seemed like it would have a story to tell.

And it did!

They talk about how they flew to the place in the world with the oldest living people and asked them how they do it.

Spoiler alert: The answer is community.

Everyone comes together everyday to talk and enjoy life together. They support one another.

The book details some other things like stretches, but the focus is on the importance of the whole.

Personally, I don't feel I gained much knowledge from this book. It was a fun read! But ultimately didn't add or subtract anything. If any therapists, counselors, or practitioners want my copy, I will be happy to send it your way.

I was searching for a book on how to better myself in any way possible. Upon browsing the shelves of my local library, I found this book. It was the only book my library had about how to build habits.

Finally, some advice on how to get things going! I was invigorated!

But when I look back at it now, it feels extreme.

For example, he says to make the exact same food everyday so that you can avoid thinking about it. He says to get rid of everything you own that isn't directly essential to life.

There are some fantastic tips in here! Don't get me wrong!

However, I would recommend Atomic Habits by James Clear if you want a more in depth and realistic application of habit building.
