what I will write:

original fiction, preferably. if you really want to commission a fic from me for some reason, ask and I will decide if I can write for that fandom.

other than that, just about anything. sfw, nsfw, weird kinks, weirdly specific ideas, etc.

what I won’t write:

graphic gore

vomit, scat, piss, and adjacent topics

nsfw content of characters below the age of 14

I reserve the right to realize I forgot a kink I’m squicked out by and refuse a commission (or for other reasons)

pricing:

$1 per 100 words

+ $0.5 for writing fanfic or your specific ocs (as opposed to giving me a general idea) (if you want me to write about your ocs I will also need a detailed description of what their deal is)

+$0.5 for action scenes or nsfw scenes (yes, I have the exact same problems writing both. no, I cannot explain why.)

+$1 & a reference of some kind for detailed visual descriptions, because they drive me insane

+$5 for every 500 words above 1500

I will write up to ~1500 words. if I get hit with sudden inspiration and end up writing more than we discussed, I won’t charge you for extra words, but feel free to give me more money if you want. tips are appreciated!

if you wish to see examples of my writing, my ao3 username is also in my blog description. unfortunately, all my original writing is either really old (and in russian) or private WIPs, so I will not be sharing that, unless I decide I like & trust you.

writing speed:

will have to be decided on a case by case basis, depending on length and complexity of the commission and how much coursework I have at any given point in time.

should generally be between a week (if it’s really short and simple) and two months.

I will not be working on more than one or two commissions at a time, but hopefully that will mean I can go through them quicker.

I keep all rights to my work, and I am allowed to post/publish it wherever/whenever I want (although I will not post it publicly until the commission is complete). you will not publish it under your own/some else’s name.

(if you really want to hide it from the world for some reason we can discuss additional payment for that. either way, I will not be disclosing who the commissioner is if and when I post it, so you don’t have to worry about your anonymity.)

Microaggressions against polyamory in interpersonal interactions are important and should be discussed, but I do wish more of the conversation focused on the ways that systemic amatonormativity impact things like family units, taxes, healthcare, inheritances, housing, childcare, etc.

I’m not dating or married or related to anyone I live with, and our household of four adults can’t get any kind of financial or food or housing aid because we count as three separate households despite our semi-blended finances and living together for a decade. There are laws that have been proposed (at least, I don’t know if any passed) that limit housing to nuclear families.

Amatonormativity and polyphobia are not just theoretical “people are kinda mean about this sometimes” – they are real and materially impactful systemic issues, and they affect all of us.

some input re: housing laws—in the USA at least, i am aware of similar laws already on the books in various jurisdictions throughout the country. i currently live in a jurisdiction where it is illegal for more than 3 unmarried, unrelated adults to live as one household.

as far as i’m aware, the mechanism in its initial social/historical context is intended to target full-service sex workers, but when we look at what it does through a practical lens it’s sort of a broadly-sweeping enforcement of the nuclear family unit and therefore of all its premises (monogamy, amatonormativity, patriarchy, and so on, you get the idea).

an important piece of this is that i cannot actually find information on when this law was last used to charge or evict someone (as far as i’ve heard on the grapevine, this isn’t something fsswers around here take into consideration when making decisions about housing, because there are significantly more impactful legal consequences to be concerned about and it’s by far one of the more difficult paths of criminalization for the law to pursue, involving significantly more faff than something like dinging them for carrying condoms and cash). landlords are able to use their discretion to discriminate against renting to unmarried, unrelated groups of people, but i lack the national political literacy to know if this is specifically because this law is on the books in this jurisdiction, or if this is something landlords are permitted to do nationally (seeing as non/monogamy isn’t a protected class iirc?).

but, well, anti-sodomy laws being unenforced doesn’t make them being on the books any less dangerous, either.
