@hashemabdallah86 has barely reached 10% of the family’s goal. If the ceasefire holds, there will be costly rebuilding efforts, and if it doesnt, then surviving will incurred additional costs. A donation from you, whether $50 or $1, can make all the difference added up together.

  • I wonder if like sympathy towards animals is easier than to other humans because animals are essentially clueless to what’s happening to it a dog sacrificed to space for knowledge in building safer space-craft is “more” “sad” it seems than the alternative of sacrificing human astronauts, and its just like huh. Hm. Hrm.

  • Guys,

Strong winds and severe weather have torn apart and blown away many displacement tents across different areas of the Gaza Strip. Partially destroyed homes, already weakened by previous bombardment, have collapsed under the force of the storm. This suffering returns with every storm, and life grows harsher for families in Gaza under this bitter cold.

People are left in the streets after their tents were ripped apart. Others are drowning in rainwater.

Is anyone hearing the sound of the wind besides us?

Is anyone drowning in the rain other than Gaza’s children?

Is anyone freezing from the cold besides Gaza’s children?

While children around the world sleep in warmth and safety, completely removed from this brutal cold.

In the midst of this harsh reality, I’m asking you to stand with us.

Please support my family — we are in desperate need of your humanity.

Any help, no matter how small, can mean warmth, safety, or survival through another unbearable night.

  • Some of you think of Cops as kind of a symbolic figure representing "telling you what to do" & you're Posting things like "acab includes fandom discourse" and I thuink the 80% white website needs to remember the reason why we hate cops is because they kill people

  • tlirsgender

We hate cops because they're a weapon for enforcing the state's interests through violence. Like, they kill & imprison people. The antis don't have a Quite Literal boot on your neck please god log off or talk to a Black person or something

  • I find it so insane when women don’t leave their bfs for raising their voices at them like immediately if a man is raising his voice at you you need to beat the hell out of him rob him and then throw him into a river like the fuck

  • my understanding and interpretation of Mary Oliver’s “Wild Geese” cannot be untangled from the fact that it was originally published to follow her poem about childhood sexual abuse, “Rage”

    Rage by Mary Oliver

    You are the dark song
    of the morning;
    serious and slow,
    you shave, you dress,
    you descend the stairs
    in your public clothes
    and drive away, you become
    the wise and powerful one
    who makes all the days
    possible in the world.
But you were also the red song
    in the night,
    stumbling through the house
    to the child’s bed,
to the damp rose of her body,
    leaving your bitter taste.
    And forever those nights snarl
the delicate machinery of the days.
    When the child’s mother smiles
    you see on her cheekbones
    a truth you will never confess;
and you see how the child grows–
    timidly, crouching in corners.
    Sometimes in the wide night
you hear the most mournful cry,
    a ravished and terrible moment.
In your dreams she’s a tree
that will never come to leaf–
in your dreams she’s a watch
you dropped on the dark stones
till no one could gather the fragments–
in your dreams you have sullied and murdered,
    and dreams do not lie.

    Wild Geese

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
    love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
    Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
    are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
    the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
    are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting –
over and over announcing your place
    in the family of things.
