during the summer, when he gets the faintest hint of freckles across the bridge of his nose, his heart melts whenever you concentrate on counting each one, booping his nose at the end. by this point,ย he is putty in your hands, but heโll stillย scrunch his nose up in fake indifference. this doesnโt last long, and eventuallyย heโll boop you right back; one ofย the only times he acts a bit goofy with you.
he could gaze into your eyes forever. he swears to you up and down that the whole universe is in them, and you wonโt win against him if you try arguing. let him gently kiss your forehead, then your left eyelid, and then your right eyelid. heโll get to your lips eventually, but he wants to make sure every part of you is shown his love. he takes his time doing so.
heโll trace his fingers ever so slightly up and down your arm, lightly scratching it in a soothing manner. light enough that you donโt wake up, or light enough that you fall asleep. he loves watching both, focusing on your breaths rising your chest and exhaling through your lips, reassuring him that youโre alive and well. it makes his heart squeeze painfully in the best way.
