Although our roots lie in motorsports-related repair, we have evolved into a best-in-class independent auto repair shop offering an alternative to dealerships for repairs, service, and maintenance needs.

We have conducted extensive research into the best locations in the DFW Metroplex to identify communities that are underserved in Premium Auto Repair Services.
Through this analysis, North Fort Worth clearly emerged as a strong candidate due to its growing population, increasing vehicle density, and long-term demand for higher-quality automotive service options. Based on current development trends, we expect this demand to continue for the foreseeable future.
Today, Fifth Gear already serves a small but meaningful number of customers who live in North Fort Worth. These customers regularly travel to our other locations to receive the level of service, expertise, and transparency they value. Both our team and our customers have expressed a strong desire for a location that is more convenient to this community, allowing us to better serve them while reducing travel time and congestion to other areas.
In addition, we maintain long-standing working relationships with several existing automotive repair facilities in the surrounding area. These partnerships allow us to provide specialized services—particularly for European vehicles, which is one of our core areas of expertise—when other shops are not equipped to do so. This collaborative approach expands customer choice, keeps vehicles serviced locally, and supports the broader automotive service ecosystem rather than competing against it.

- Clean, fully climate-controlled, well-maintained facilities

- Open 8-6 Monday through Friday only, no late-night noise
- Not open Saturday or Sundays
- Parking for all employees and customers is onsite, no street parking
- All overnight parking will be in a locked and fenced parking lot or inside facilities
- All parking areas fully paved and fenced
- Professionally planted and weekly maintained landscaping
- One single high-speed roll-up door in front of building for ingress and egress from facility
- All work performed inside the facilities, zero repairs performed outside ever
- No outside air compressors or equipment of any kind
- We use cameras and security measures to keep the property safe and discourage loitering

- A body shop
- A paint shop
- A salvage yard
- A towing yard
