I have escaped
The grey walls
Now I run up the hill
It’s dark and the fear dawns on me
I can’t see, I can’t run
Beyond the hill of hope
I can’t see, I can’t walk
Through the fog of dreams
I can’t, I will never be free
I can’t see, I can’t run
I will never be free
I clutch at the sky in vain
I’m looking down
The world dawns on me
I sought freedom
In a world that’s not mine

Supreme black metal. Dark and ferocious. Love the atmosphere, melodies, and high-pitched vocal style. 'Frigid and Spellbound', 'Soul Destroying Black Debauchery', and 'Fair Lucifer, Sad Relic' are outstanding. 10/10. Obsidian One

The opening of 'Age of Chains' is a breath of fresh air in black metal — atmospheric, melodic, epic. The music has a different feel than most in the genre: less dark and more fantasy, though still intense at times with icy guitar riffs and cold blast beats. I like the bright-colored cover art, with no logo or text, and the title of the fifth track, 'Behold the Shadow of My Thoughts', is great as well. Obsidian One
