The mental image of wolf Link corralling the kids back home after defeating the monsters. He rescued them, but they’re still scared, which makes sense, they watched him rip out the monsters throats.

Colin is draped over his back, having had the worst of it, clinging to consciousness but believing with all his might that this wolf is helping them, because trusting this wolf is what Link would do. Talo hanging onto his mane for support, limping along because he tried to be brave too. Beth is on Link’s other side, holding on not for support but because the wolf is terrifying but friendly in this scary place of shadows and monsters. Malo holding Beth’s hand, despite being the smallest and youngest is the best place for him to be. He watches their back, he couldn’t do anything for his brother or friends when they got kidnapped, but he can do this.

Link has still got whatever black blood the monsters have dripping from his muzzle, streaks in his fur that might be his or theirs he has no idea. He just knows the kids are safe with him, he must be gentle, slow, and kind, but the second anything that even slightly might be dangerous, a cracking twig or scuff of leaves, he’s whirling. Beth would drag Colin off his back, they would huddle and hide while the wolf takes care of the threat, and when he’s done they return to form, inching along, careful and slow, having no idea whatever monster they encounter next might finally be the one the wolf can’t beat. Or, impossibly, they might find their way home.

Link just needs to figure out how to keep Rusl or Mayor Bo from skewering him on sight.

If anyone is more interested in the work behind the Gävle goat there is apparently a documentary here, mostly in swedish, but what I found most charming is that you can climb into the goat through a door in it's behind.

And if you ever wondered: yes, according to rumors a couple have fucked in the Gävle goat. In 1966 in fact, the first year it was up and before any kind of arson. I don't know why they threw that into the documentary but this goat has layers is all I'm saying.

I use 2FA on every website I log into, and it didn't ask for any details when I took the survey, but I still don't trust that thing at all. One can never be too safe.

hi, i did some research on this but this link was not phishing and here's why:

qualtrics is a legit website that companies pay to host data gathering surveys to collect metrics on various things. you can also create free surveys but from what i understand the survey results aren't as in-depth as the paid versions get you.

it looks like the survey originates from a banner on the discord app and you click on it and it takes you to the site and you do the thing there. it was only rolled out to a certain amount of people (for the purposes to maybe only get people they thought would be pro-AI? who knows with Discord) but was then passed around everywhere because Fuck AI. And then Discord realized that things weren't going the way they wanted and pulled the survery.

I did some further research on the URL itself:

From ESET link checker it rates it as safe, I also plugged it into a few others as well like Fortinet and Bitdefender and both of those came back safe too, here's a screenshot of ESET:

no keyloggers or malware after I clicked on the link (it's been 8 hours now and my discord account is fine).

hopefully, this will quell some panic about the discord thing, its always good practice to protect your account with MFA when it's offered and to change your password when you suspect something may not be right, it's better to err on the side of caution etc, but in this case, it's alright and there's no need to create any undue panic about a link to a survey. fuck AI and Discord should know better than to try and pull more wool over its userbases' eyes because did they not learn from the NFT thing?
