Painting Workshop – Amsterdam

Not at all! This workshop is designed for absolute beginners. Our professional artist guides you step-by-step through the process. The goal is to relax, have a drink, and have fun—not to paint the next Night Watch. It’s about the experience, not just the result.

It is exactly what it sounds like: a creative painting session combined with a social drink. You get a canvas, an easel, and a glass of wine (or beer/soda). As the session progresses, the music plays, the drinks flow, and your masterpiece comes to life. It’s the perfect mix of creativity and “borrel” (drinks).

Yes! This is our signature “Flagship” experience. We can set up the easels on one of our luxury saloon boats. You cruise through the canals while painting the scenery outside your window. It is a unique, floating art studio experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Yes. If you prefer a larger space or stationary ground, we partner with inspiring art studios in the city center. We can also set up the mobile workshop at your office or a venue of your choice.

That is up to you! We offer several themes. The most popular are “Canal Houses,” “Van Gogh Sunflowers,” or “Paint Your Colleague” (hilarious for close teams). We can also arrange for you to paint 3D objects like wooden clogs (klompen) or ceramic cows.

Yes. We bring everything: easels, canvasses, paints, brushes, aprons, and cleaning supplies. You don’t need to bring a thing. We also handle the cleanup afterwards so you can head straight to dinner.

We use high-quality acrylic paints which can be stubborn on fabric. We provide protective aprons for everyone, but we recommend not wearing your most expensive white silk shirt, just in case of a stray splash of “liquid creativity.”

Yes, our standard package includes a beverage arrangement (wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee/tea). Creating art is thirsty work! If you want to upgrade to Prosecco or cocktails, just let us know.

The session typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives enough time for the instruction, the painting process, and plenty of breaks to chat and refill glasses.

Of course! Your artwork is yours to keep. It makes for a great souvenir or a new decoration for the office wall. We provide bags or boxes to transport them safely, even if the paint is still slightly tacky.

Yes. We can host large groups of up to 50+ people. For very large groups, we often recommend a “collaborative art” project, where sub-teams paint different sections of one giant image that comes together at the end.

Yes. A popular itinerary is the “Paint & Pizza” or “Art & Burgers” package. We serve a casual dinner during or after the workshop. Alternatively, you can start with the workshop and transition into a formal dinner cruise afterwards.

Yes, our art hosts are fluent in English and Dutch. They are skilled at creating a relaxed, energetic atmosphere and ensuring everyone follows along, regardless of language.

Yes. If you want to paint your company logo, a product you are launching, or a theme related to your industry, let us know. The artist can prepare pre-sketched canvases to make it easier for your team to stay on brand.
