How I think I’m writing: Using eye contact, or lack thereof, to display emotions such as intimacy, shock, denial, or nervousness.
How I’m actually writing: She looked at me, and I looked away. I tried to look back, but she was already looking at the sky. “Look,” she sighs, looking back at me for a split second. “I don’t know how to say this.” We looked at each other and time stopped, but then she looked her lookers at something else to look at, looking tired.

Stop talking about supporting Palestinians. Don't scroll this post and listen to me for just one minute. I'm Abeer, a financial accountant from Gaza. After we lost everything our jobs, our homes, and my husband's injury—I'm now taking care of my family, giving them a second chance at survival. I urgently need support. My husband is bedridden now. You are my only hope, and asking for help isn't easy. I've never done this before. We can help each other as a family, as human beings. Any small donation will make a big difference. Don't forget to check the bio. If you can't dont worry just watch this video, share it, and click all the buttons on the screen.
I'm writing these words with a heavy heart and a sense of shame…
It's not easy for a doctor and pharmacist who has dedicated their life to serving people to reach out and ask for help, but circumstances are harsher than any pride.
My pharmacy was completely destroyed by the war,
and my home wasn't spared either… and I no longer have any source of income to support myself and my family.
I was forced to reopen a simple pharmacy, a tent,
offering no protection from the winter cold or the rain,
and with the recent storms, the tent itself was ruined,
and I continue to work in unbearable conditions,
but only because I don't know how to stop or give up.
The situation is extremely difficult… and the need is dire,
and the hardest thing is the feeling of abandonment,
when you feel alone,
and that many of the people you stood by didn't stand by you in this time.
I'm not asking for luxury,
nor anything more than what's necessary.
I'm asking for a life of dignity and a chance to get back on my feet.
Whoever can help, even a little,
may God reward them on behalf of me and my family.
And whoever can't, please share this post.
Forgive me… The pain is immense,
and the need is greater than silence.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This is one of the comics I drew about Rawan’s life to draw attention to her campaign.
Life in Gaza is getting more uncertain as more and more sources say a ground invasion is imminent. The consequence is that prices are soaring again. No one is really sure what to believe right now, but regardless, it has an impact on their lives.
In the midst of this, Rawan tries to keep on living. Her skin condition is getting worse again, so she’ll go back to the doctor tomorrow if the weather allows it. Her older brother has started physical therapy to recover after the missile strike. All of that costs money, unfortunately.
Rawan is trying to get her engineering degree, and her only option is to spend her days in a café for a good internet connection, which costs her $50 a day. On top of that, she and her mother really want to get her youngest siblings (5 and 15) in school (meaning classes in a tent), but the price would be $100 a month each. Her sister never got to start school and her brother had to stop because of the war, even though he was very studious.
Please pitch in to support them if you can. Even $5 goes a long way and just sharing these posts helps a ton too 🙏

There's been a large amount of people mentioning the purge of Black users off of Tumblr, and it's funny because like... Some of us are still here. Maybe if y'all made it feel safe and encouraging to Opine While Black around here, instead of conveniently using us as the voiceless martyrs of whatever Conflicting Opinions y'all have today, you'd see more of us 😅 we'd want to be around you 😅
THIS PART! "You treat us like you treated the Black people back when they were-" meanwhile the Black people are still here, STILL being treated that way. As if that treatment either stopped happening (it didn't) or that we're just gone (we're not). It happens when people discuss politics especially and I can't stand it.
Every minute without help takes away our strength and our lives. We are exhausted, and we cannot wait any longer—please don’t wait until we are gone to care. I am Zeina, a child crying in silence.
Do we have to suffer more before the world notices us? After more than two years of pain, we are still waiting for someone to hear us and help, even with just a small share. Please help us, please share and donate!
why can rockstar games institutionalise you for life like nikita kruschev for being autistic
He didn't steal 10 million dollars. They made that number up as a loss, they never fucking had it. Rockstar has spent more than a billion fucking dollars on GTA VI and will likely make billions more when it gets released.
Uber is a fucking shell game of a company designed to leech investor capital and output bootleg cabs.
Nvidia posted a profit in 2023 of $4.37 billion. This is like someone stealing less than a penny from me.
And they lock this kid in a prison hospital for LIFE?
Capitalism is disgusting.
Nobody should buy GTA til they free Arion Kurtaj

he didn't even get to stand *trial*. because he's autistic. he's in an institution for life for hacking while autistic, without trial.
hey yall remember this
ok my white ahh absolutely does this but it’s 1000% for comedy purposes. Censorship is bad when it’s done from necessity but sometimes making goofy ass into goofy ahh is slightly funnier
it's not funny. I hope this helps.
i got havana syndrome too but it actually made my thoughts a lot clearer and I feel healthier and my chronic pain went away so maybe you're just a bad person ?
btw if youre young and scared of doing adult things without your parents ive learned that like 90% of the time you can just tell the doctors office or the dmv "haha sorry ive never done this without help before... can you show me how to do this?" the employee will not care. if that means anything to you
People love to say things like “Hiding Anne Frank was illegal, turning her in would have been legal” without like fully grasping the modern implications properly. You have tons of folks like “if WW2 happened today id have __” that do not realize what is happening around them.
We have this idolized AND sanitized version of what happened then, and so we do not recognize it when it happens now.
Resistance fighters assassinated nazis and blew up weapons and infrastructure and destroyed records and forged paperwork and raised secret funds and smuggled people in vehicles and yes, hid them in their homes.
“Well it’s sad he got sent to an ICE camp but he faked his permit :/“
Whoever helped him fake his paperwork did what fighters in ww2 did. People who cut through chain link fences do what fighters in ww2 did, people who blow whistles chasing after ice cars do what fighters in ww2 did, people who destroy arms factories and cop city cranes do what fighters in ww2 did, people unmask agents do what fighters in ww2 did.
People are doing it now! They’ve been doing it now! You keep saying “oh if this happened here__” it HAS! It IS!
What are you doing about it?
