Flynn heads back to base after a quick delivery and E3k fails to meet the expectations he set two weeks ago! 

I will leave you with some tidbits of information to make up for it, though,

Flynn screws up. This time, in the jungle. This is the longest chapter thus far, to make up for not having one last week. I want to get the next chapter out next week to make up for last as well! Thank you for reading!

There probably should have been an update by now, but there hasn’t been one. I have not had the time to get to it.

On the Wait (Also New Chapter!)

Hey, there’s been quite a wait between last chapter and now, hasn’t there? What has it been, like two weeks? Anyways, as it turns out, spending 5 hours on a train 4 times a week with no way to write kinda makes writing difficult. Video games, school assignments, and trying to get just one good run as Isaac in Rebirth also don’t help. Well, to make up for it, a new chapter is out and I’ve got another little fact dump:

Anything Else I Need to Know Before Saturday?

Not really. First chapter comes out TOMORROW and I’m really excited for it. The first few chapters will explain most of the world, but if you really want a few last fast facts, then keep reading.

A Bit More on Flynn Flywheel

Flynn Flywheel is my second work of original fiction, with the first chapter set to be released soon. Flynn Flywheel takes place in 2109, a number of years after the earth was fled for conflicting reasons. Flynn is a courier for the Universal Parcel Delivery Service, a postal service started following the evacuation of Earth to ensure communication between people.

Flynn is not necessarily an “ideal role model”. He falls squarely between chaotic good and chaotic neutral and has a knack for causing damage, but at the end of the day just wants to get his job done, even if it means having to battle mercenaries and raiders after him. That said, he is by no means a bad person. He has a bit of book smart to his recklessly unaware facade, and isn’t “out for blood”. He’s got a bit of a streak, but is ultimately a good kid. He’s had about a decade to mature at the UPDS, and now at 19 years old, is rather skilled at his job. He’s not their ideal worker, or even one of the best, but he’s good enough at what he does.

During the next upcoming week, I hope to detail a bit more about the UPDS in anticipation for the first chapter, which should arrive Saturday, January 9th. Thank you for your support!

The Big Announcement!

What a year 2015 was, huh? But with the new year comes a new project from E3kHatena: Flynn Flywheel.

Flynn Flywheel is the second in-progress fictional work by E3kHatena. Set in a distant future in which humanity has left the earth, Flynn works as a courier for the Universal Parcel Delivery Service, traveling to distant lands and generally getting into trouble. Over the course of the next week or two, I will be posting a few pieces on the world (or universe, rather) of Flynn Flywheel in anticipation for the first chapter, which will be posted on or around the 10th of January.
