CHANGE THE WORLD As a matter of fact When you're fighting for your dreams In this beautiful ugly world And at the breaking point You can always find your way Even though it seems too hard If you open a window You can clearly see You can change your world But when you open a door The sun will shine And you will change the world When you're chasing a dream And you look inside yourself Oh you can always find a way When you're lost and alone And you're hidden away Oh it's only an ugly world If you open a window You can clearly see You can change your world But when you open a door The sun will shine And you will change the world You can change the world A changing world Beautiful ugly world

LOVE, TIME & DEATH Complications A storm brewing in my soul Tumbling over I’m not sure how long I’ll last So far so good How long’s it gonna take So far so good But there’s really no escape Love, Time & Death Won’t wait in vain Love, Time & Death Not so mundane Like the passage of time It’s a matter of life and death Minutes passing Sometimes fast and sometimes slow Can you feel it ? It’s all inevitable So far so good How long’s it gonna take So far so good But there’s really no escape Love, Time & Death Won’t wait in vain Love, Time & Death Not so mundane Like the passage of time It’s a matter of life and death Love, Time & Death Won’t wait in vain Love, Time & Death Not so mundane Like the passage of time It’s a matter of life and death There’s even more at stake It’s only what you make of it

DANCING IN MY DREAM It was a little A little bit unclear Subconscious taking over Now I can see it Just as if it’s real Like I’m wide awake now Oh, you’re all invited Invited to my dream Raise your hands up, raise your hands Dancing in my dream All are welcome Welcome to my dream Raise your hands up, raise your hands Dancing in my dream Now I’m floating down the Nile Maybe in denial Take my hand, take my hand now I’ll spin you around Not too fast, not too fast now Don’t wanna wake up Oh, you’re all invited Invited to my dream Raise your hands up, raise your hands Dancing in my dream All are welcome Welcome to my dream Raise your hands up, raise your hands Dancing in my dream Dancing in my dream Raise your hands up, raise your hands Raise your hands up, raise your hands Dancing in my dream

I DO & I DON'T Hanging over my head Driving me right to the edge A bit of give and take A bit of this and that Don't you confuse the facts Even when they're right in front of you It's not as clear as that I'll make you change your mind I do and I don't You will and you won't Is all i ever hear from you Do this and not that I can and I can't Gotta get out of here I do and I don't You will and you won't Is all i ever hear from you Do this and not that I can and I can't Better get out of here So the story at hand It may be what you believe You must be kidding me It's fiction at its best Don't make a fool out of me I'm a man of truth, style and grace To make it clear as day You better change your mind I do and I don't You will and you won't Is all i ever hear from you Do this and not that I can and I can't Gotta get out of here I do and I don't You will and you won't Is all i ever hear from you Do this and not that I can and I can't Better get out of here Won’t you make up your mind Your indecision is killing me It’s such a simple thing, won’t you make up your mind It’s such a simple thing, won’t you make up your mind I do and I don't You will and you won't Is all i ever hear from you Do this and not that I can and I can't Gotta get out of here I do and I don't You will and you won't Is all i ever hear from you Do this and not that I can and I can't Better get out of here

LOOK TO THE SKY Look up Look to the sky Look up Look to the sky Sky bound Earth bound People are worried People are scarred We all look to see What’s around the corner Run from the dark Into the light And we pay the price To live our lives free If ever in doubt Just look to the sky Sky bound Earth bound The world keeps turning Faster every day For each passing day Gets crazed a little more Food for your thoughts Food for your soul And we pay the price To live our lives free If ever in doubt Just look to the sky See the stars Right next to Mars Twinkling heavens Up above And we pay the price To live our lives free If ever in doubt Just look to the sky

CARBON FOOTPRINT I hang my head low Keep my hopes high Our future is at stake There is something you can do Sacrifice, or pay the price It's up to you and me Pollution is a killer For all humanity Save the earth, save our lives It's a global catastrophe Reduce your carbon footprint For the sake of all humanity It's as plain as day Just look around The planet is changing Mother earth is telling us Sacrifice, or pay the price It's up to you and me Pollution is a killer For all humanity Save the earth, save our lives It's a global catastrophe Reduce your carbon footprint For the sake of all humanity Sacrifice, or pay the price It's up to you and me Pollution is a killer For all humanity Save the earth, save our lives It's a global catastrophe Reduce your carbon footprint For the sake of all humanity Sacrifice, or pay the price Sacrifice, or pay the price

Pouring Rain 05:20
POURING RAIN Got a lot on my mind The dark clouds are forming in my head As its thundering The stirring in my soul Searching for the words Trying to find the right ones Got a lot on mind, so it seems Driving home in the pouring rain I yearn for you, I search in vain Thoughts are spinning around my head Often thought, but seldom said Driving home in the pouring rain An empty seat, all alone again Broken hearted, left needing more I’ve been down this road, before You’re still on my mind Wish things could be like they were before So Memorable Like the bright and shining sun But the clouds have formed The darkness surrounds me But you’re still on my mind, so it seems Driving home in the pouring rain I yearn for you, I search in vain Thoughts are spinning around my head Often thought, but seldom said Driving home in the pouring rain An empty seat, all alone again Broken hearted, left needing more I’ve been down this road, before Thoughts are spinning around my head Driving home in the pouring rain The thoughts are spinning around my head Driving home in the pouring rain Broken hearted, left needing more Driving home in the pouring rain I’m broken hearted, left needing more Driving home in the pouring rain

Wide Awake 03:32
WIDE AWAKE Evening falls The glowing moon above The stars are sparkling Dancing 'round my head Tonight The chaos is calming But my thoughts are echoing Swirling 'round my head Now I’m falling I'm wide awake I fear the silence I'm wide awake From a broken dream I'm wide awake From all the suffering Make no mistake You'll never bring me down Fateful night Held captive in my dream For fear of waking up Screaming out your name Silence Can be so deafening For a distant memory is Jabbing at my brain Now I’m falling I'm wide awake I fear the silence I'm wide awake From a broken dream I'm wide awake From all the suffering Make no mistake You'll never bring me down I'm wide awake You'll never bring me down I'm wide awake You'll never bring me down You'll never bring me down You'll never bring me down

about

The debut album release “Circadian Rhythm” by Foreign Affaire.
Not just an album release, but the result of a labor of love by musician, producer and programmer Steve Vliss & Singer/Songwriter Steven Cochran, best known for his work with modern synthpop bands Eloquent & Royal Visionaries.

Foreign Affaire’s collective musical journey has been influenced by artists such as: Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, The Human League, OMD & Depeche Mode to name a few, with a sprinkle of VNV Nation & Roxy Music.
The music will evoke the nostalgia of the 80’s, perfected with modern sounds to make your heart and soul soar.

Circadian Rhythm is a showcase of lives lived and learned, featuring emotional and thought provoking lyrics. Foreign Affaire have achieved their sound by combining life experiences, skills and musical passions to paint a picture of a challenging world banning together in solidarity.
