General Volunteer
Seeking dedicated individuals to support various masjid activities and events. Responsibilities include helping with event setup/breakdown, assisting with food distribution during community gatherings, providing support during Ramadan activities, and helping wherever needed. This flexible role allows you to contribute based on your availability while serving the community.
Youth Committee Member
Join our youth committee to help plan and organize activities for young Muslims in our community. Committee members (typically ages 18-30) will develop leadership skills while creating educational, social, and recreational programs. Help bridge the gap between youth and masjid leadership while fostering an inclusive environment for young Muslims to grow in their faith.
Masjid Clean-up
Help maintain the beauty and cleanliness of OBK. Volunteers assist with regular cleaning tasks including vacuuming prayer halls, organizing shoe racks, sanitizing common areas, and maintaining wudu areas. This essential service ensures our masjid remains a welcoming space for worship and community gatherings.
Sister's Circle (for sisters 18+)
A dedicated space for adult sisters to connect, learn, and grow together in faith and sisterhood. Members participate in regular halaqas, plan sisters-only events, organize charitable activities, and create opportunities for mentorship and personal development. Join us in building a supportive network of Muslim women while strengthening our connection to Islam.
