Surah Yusuf (Chapter 12 of the Qur’an) is a detailed narrative about the life of the Prophet Yusuf (Joseph), offering lessons in patience, trust in God, and forgiveness. It is unique among Qur'anic stories in that it tells a single, continuous story from beginning to end.
Brief Summary:
Surah Yusuf recounts the story of Prophet Yusuf, who was betrayed by his jealous brothers and sold into slavery. He rises to a position of power in Egypt after interpreting dreams for the king. Despite facing many hardships—like being falsely accused and imprisoned—Yusuf remains steadfast in his faith. Eventually, he is reunited with his family and forgives his brothers. The surah emphasizes God's wisdom, the reward of patience, and the importance of moral integrity.
