Hello and welcome to the application form for the fourth volume of the Digigirl Zine! We're a zine celebrating the talented artists in the Digimon fandom and our beloved Digigirls. The previous zines have been a huge success and we're excited to see everyone's amazing contributions to Vol. 4!
This zine is open to anyone who wants to contribute, and all skill levels will be considered! Please read over the following points first:
- The zine will be presented as a B5 digital zine (pdf format)
- Final images are expected to be fully coloured, the level of shading/rendering is up to the artist to accommodate for varying art styles
- Any artwork provided will be taken as examples of the quality of work you'll be providing for your zine piece, so please choose your examples wisely!
- This collab is a fan project and purely for fun, no profit will be made by anyone involved. If you'd like to sell your final piece as merch outside of the collab you have full permission to use it as you please
- A Discord server will be created to communicate, provide updates, and keep track of submissions
- While the standard is digital 2D artwork, you're more than welcome to submit other styles of art such as 3D or traditional (please make sure you can provide clean, clear scans of any traditional work!)
- Artwork cannot be shared publicly until the zine is published, previews are allowed
- Multiple Digimon are allowed in a single image, but there should be one main Digigirl as the 'focus'. Additional Digimon can be any existing Digimon, and don't need to be another Digigirl. We do not allow human characters
Final submissions are expected to either be full body artwork with no/minimal/stylized backgrounds OR an illustration with some kind of background, full body is not required for this option but as much of the character should be included as possible (we generally ask for 75% of the character to be visible at minimum). You can check out Vol.3 for examples if you're confused!
THE DEADLINE FOR FINAL SUBMISSIONS IS JUNE 30th. THE ZINE WILL BE PUBLISHED ON AUGUST 1st 2026. Deadlines will be extended into July for backup artists and extra claims only. There will be check-ins during this time where you'll be expected to provide WIPs. We do not tolerate missed deadlines, please only apply if you're confident you can meet our deadlines.

This zine is open to 18+ artists ONLY. While the zine is SFW there are many NSFW artists who apply and we prefer to keep the zine to adult artists only to protect everyone. We kindly ask that you do not link directly to NSFW/fetish artworks and keep art examples SFW only when applying.
We have zero tolerance for AI generated work.
All artwork must be drawn from scratch for the zine. We do not accept traced work or art using bases. Any 3D art must also use original models and cannot use pre existing models.
