Each Benoit Blanc film takes place in a different season and classic murder mystery setting.

Knives Out: Autumn in a country house

Glass Onion: Summer on a private island

Wake up Dead Man: Spring in a small town

So the next film in the cycle needs to be set in winter on a mode of transportation.

i really like bagel job the 1 problem is that my new mixer who is polite and functional and big and high tech and new is just not as sexy as my beloved old ass 1976 hobart i had at the pastry place. she didnt have a safety cage at all. she was a beautiful and simple shape. she wanted to kill you so bad.

i am for workers rights. i am for workers safety. i personally like to have my limbs attatched and appreciate that my risk of losing a hand arm or entire body at my workplace is significantly reduced. but……………

there is something so beautiful about working with a very large and powerful machine that you literally cannot do your work without who also could and would kill you with no remorse. like the respect-and-admiration you develop for the beast living in your workspace who you rely upon for your livelihood and yet who is so dangerous… and when the machine is just very absolutely dangerous, and has no safety mechanisms whatsoever, you HAVE to think about it constantly… it’s so beautiful to me

and i’m sorry but not only do you live and work with this beast and have to eke out a careful and respectful coexistence together, you also have to clean every piece of that machine, by hand, every day. you have to kneel and scrub every inch with a rag and warm sanitizer. it’s a very devotional act. it’s meditative… and u have to spend the most time on the most dangerous parts of the mechanism. u are kneeling on the floor tenderly cleaning and polishing the very same hooks and crushing arms and spinning housing that could tear you to pieces when the machine is running. u love the machine. she loves u too, surely, she helps you do the work you need to do to live. and she would kill you without hesitation. i have to lie down

To all trans men on this site, im gonna put you onto something. If you are in need of a binder but have unsupportive parents or are closeted, if you have a fondness for the ocean, or if youre bored with the normal colors of binder available, go to Waterlust and get a top

    image

As you can see above, theyre all patterned like marine life, but theyre also reversible! One side has the pattern, the other is solid color, and they’re all fun colors like blues and reds and greens, but some like the whale and tiger shark ones are more subtle grays and blacks. I have the whale shark one and the spongebob one (which was a limited run), and theyre both very well designed and printed. My spongebob one has served me for roughly four years and it hasn’t worn at all.

    image

What really matters? The binding power, and these things are great. I’m a triple D cup and with a medium I look like I have subtle pecs. They’re also much less compressive than other binders due to their materials (which are mostly recycled!), so you can wear them for longer without getting sore. When I did more intensive theater and band performances, I could still act, dance, and play bari sax without getting winded or hurting myself. They’re also swim tops, and I’ve scuba dived in these as well comfortably.

    image

If that wasn’t all, proceeds from each purchase are donated towards marine conservation and education initiatives! Purchasing shark printed ones specifically donate to shark studies and conservation orgs, parrotfish and coral prints support coral restoration initiatives, and so on. The high price tag is for a good reason.

Overall, if you’re looking for an all around good binder, one that matches your whimsey and supports a good cause, Waterlust is the place to go.

extremely funny to me that Kermit the Frog is the only main overlap character between Sesame Street and The Muppets. imagine your day job is hanging out in a community of lovely people that genuinely just want to help kids learn and care about everyone so so much and then your night job is the reason that you have to stay up to date on your rabies AND tetanus vaccine

#honestly having irl friends who do both teaching/community work during the day and then work in the theatre at night #its not that far of a stretch #i have seen these people #and yes they do occasionally explode into a fury of flailing limbs due to extreme excitement or anger
