Ok so I see a lot of fictionkin use the term “literally me” and I’m curious, what exactly do you mean by that. A person’s definition of “literally” can very especially in this situation. So tell me, if you use this term when referring to your to your kin what do you mean by it.
When I say I am literally Ken Ichijouji, I mean that I am his reincarnation. I was him in a past life. His soul existed and lived his life in another universe (that we see glimpses of through the fiction Digimon) and when he died, his soul slipped through the ‘cracks’ between worlds, and was reborn here, on earth, in my mother’s womb, and became me.
That’s what *I* mean when I say it. Other people mean different things.
Sure. People believe all kinds of things, apart from religions.
If you want a deeper answer than that, you’ll have to clarify what you mean.
I absolutely believe this is possible. My belief is that (at least some) fictionkin come from people who have lived lives in other ‘fictional’ worlds being reborn in this one. So obviously, you could be reborn from another world, and then write about your memories/experiences.
Some people would assert that this makes you otherkin, not fictionkin. Its a very gray area.
