I don't know what to do about....

Kelevra.
he just got fixed yesterday and the vet told me that he can't do any major walking or playing for like a week or something.
It's a ritual of ours to go to the dog park everyday for at least an hour, if not more. if i don't, he cries and whines at me.
now I can't take him to the dog park, He basically has to stay in the house for a week.....
AND HE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY
he is just sitting next to me crying, bored out of his mind, and they didn't give me any drugs that will knock him out, just some remedyl.
What should I do?
