Quickie Update

General
The finals crunch is upon me, and I am doing my best to shoot out messages to folks as I have time, but.. I have 4 finals and three major projects due in the next two weeks, and I'll be honest, my programming final frightens me. (Not because it's hard, but because the professor has a REALLY hard time teaching to our ability levels)
If my notes are correct, MOST of you with outstanding commissions have pencils that you've approved. I am still working on pencils for ceeb, kartonis, Tigerwolf and Linnaeus.
You have all been really incredible, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate your support and business. :)
I will update again after finals, when I'm able to give individuals a better ETA for their artwork to be complete.
Thank you!

I keep telling myself that no matter what happens, it'll all be over within 2 weeks. I just need to hang in there, do the best I can. :D
Unfortunately, my VB programming final is cumulative. As is my math final. FORTUNATELY, English and Bio are not. Thank God for small favors. :>
And what level is the programming course?
Our midterm (before the prof backpedaled and changed it) had us writing 40-50 lines of code from our heads for 6 different programming applications. I don't think any of us got those right, and I know I wrote some rather pointed comments on my exam. He called me while I was driving home (I cried. A lot.) because he was afraid I was on my way to drop the class.
I'm a good student. I read the chapters, I do all my assignments, I don't miss classes. I've got a 4.0, and I've earned it. This class, more often than not, brought me to tears because of the stupidhard levels of the assignments. I think this is the first class this particular prof has ever taught, and unfortunately he's a prime example of why an excellent programmer does not a teacher make. He's got tons of experience, he's just... a geek, and can't dumb things down appropriately for the class.
The upshot of it is, I'll complete this class (I highly doubt I'll fail it, as I've done all the homework and gotten high marks on THAT, just bombed the exams miserably) and have a teeny bit more knowledge than when I went in, but... I can't say I know how to program in VB. And that makes me really really angry. I'm paying for an education, and he's wasting my money. >.<
Though I've also been told I could be a teach if I wanted, and have even helped my fellow students out on occasions.
(I'd like to, though we'll just have to see what happens)
If you have questions about programming in general, I'd be glad to answer them, but not on VB specifically as I have little knowledge of it.
Some.... just don't. >.<
I think I've more or less got the program done, I am checking some logic issues (the mathematics portion of the program isn't giving me the numbers it should), but that part, I'm pretty confident with.
Still, if you have any questions, just send me a PM here and I'll try to answer them.
Next semester is websites, and that is a familiar and beloved pond. ;D
I always like helping people out when they're learning how programming works.
(I'm comfortable with several programming languages, so I can try answering almost any questions you have)
Best of luck!!
