December 9th, 2010 will forever be a red letter day for me.
I've been playing Pokémon since it came out on this side of the Pacific, and after years of playing through each generation, replying them when they got released, and importing Black & White from Japan instead of waiting for an English release, I have finally found and caught my first Shiny Pokémon! Oh sure, I got the Red Gyrados from Gold & Silver, but that was a scripted event, and I know of tricks to make them show up more often, but I never really cared about that. I got this shiny just by finding it randomly in the wild.
So all hail my swanky new SHINY KOROMORI!

The ponyta guy spent SIX WHOLE MONTHS trying to get it legit.
