Just discovered this wishlist meme. While I doubt anyone will see it, let alone be able to fullfill anything in it, never hurts to try. I usually don't like asking for things, as It makes me feel like I'm being a mooch, but...
Step 1
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
Step 2
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special. Pay it forward!
Step 3 - The List
1) A NEW COMPUTER! My current one is old, slow, and tempermental, with both games and art programs, and I can't afford a new one right now. This thing is 10 years old, and it's starting to drive me insane! I can't art without slow, I can't play Minecraft without serious lag, and it complains at me (making loud straining noises) with even YouTube. The power supply has already died (and been replaced) at least twice...it's time to put this PC out to pasture. But I can't afford a new one. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but it's driving me crazy. My folks can't afford to get me a new one either, and they don't want to 'enable' my gaming. But I can't even do decent art on this old thing. I have photoshop, but can't really use it.
2) A job. And I mean a reliable, steady, long-term one, preferably either in an office, working with animals, or some foot-in-the door at a graphics place. It needs to be somewhere that I am respected and given proper break times, and that I feel safe (I have been bullied at work before, which makes it hard for me to trust that it won't happen again. "Once bitten, twice shy" and all that.) I doubt anyone is just going to go out and offer me a job, (and even if they did, I'm not sure I would trust it...too many scams floating around.) so, well-wishes as to finding one are fine.
3) A life free of crazy. Which is probably going to happen anyway after the holidays are over. Soooo swamped right now. X__x
4) More time for art. But that kinda ties in to # 3. Also more publicity
5) Courage in dealing with people. They scary. >.< Ties in to # 2.
6) My novel I'm writing to stop fighting me. >.< Darn book does not want to be written. But I WILL finish it. Sometime...
7) New computer. Oh wait, I said that already.
8) Financial stability. Ties in to # 2 AND # 1, and being able to commission people, which I can't do right now.
9) Everyone to have a good holiday, be safe, and be happy.
10) ...Did I mention new computer? XP

Also, I came up with a tentative commission price list...but I kind of feel it is inadequate for my skills/amount of time I spend on my art. But if I price too high, nobody will buy from me. So I'm still not ready to take them yet. But I will have to start doing something soon, as I am running out of money. So, if anybody has any advice as to setting up commisions, it would be appreciated.
