Ok tonight at the furday meet in oak park area we had fun at dennys playing card of humainty, we also had fun playingwith the local Totter Nekari Varra hope he had fun lol also one of the furs there got to talking with me about giving our group a name so i did some histry looking for Oak park and found its history here is a piece of it.

Oak Park lies on top of the shore of the ancient, glacial "Lake Chicago." The long arm of beach gravel and sand that formed between Lake Chicago and the Desplaines Bay is known as the "Oak Park Spit." This ridge, which runs diagonally from Ridgeland and North Avenues to Madison and Desplaines where it levels out, is now mostly flattened by development. The high curve of this ridge occurs at Oak Park Avenue and Ontario Street, crossing Scoville Park. Since the land was once covered by oak trees it was originally named Oak Ridge. This was the land of the Pottowatomie, Sac and Fox Indians.

In this it talks about Oak park being know as the Oak Park Split so i was thinking what about calling this group gathering the OPS Furs Group this is just a sujestion who love to here what others might like to call the group.

Im loving how this group is getting bigger we do random thing nothing is ever set in stone and we try to keep how everybodys funds are in mind when we get togther hopefuly we can do more with the group form ehre on out
