UPDATE:
One of the admins heard my husband out (because as I said, with a banned account you can't contact anyone....), and gave back my account. The point was in all of my whining, to find somebody who has some sense to make fair judgement. After all, it makes me happy that somebody at least cared about my situation, and having back my account meant just a gesture for me, because of the unfair judgement, not for actual useful reasons. Though his answer was foggy somehow, I didn't understand everything about his explanation... But this admin respectfully warned us to be careful about voting on anything, or just using our accounts for, like anything... (It's so funny to know they warned us about the broken system) But he stated, that if any of our accounts will be found violating any rule, both will be banned like now, because they use the same network... Anyway, if I got it right, probably I can avoid the ban again if we don't vote, comment, or do anything beside browsing and faving.
So the little conclusion of the situation: If you're live in the same household with somebody and use the same wi-fi in general, and both have an e621 account, don't vote on the same comment/picture, or do much in general. They both count as the same person, and cheating the system. I mean "SYSTEM"... If you are unlucky, an admin can spot you, and they can ban both of your accounts.
Ps.: I just want to say thank for all of you guys the mental support. Your not too happy stories ensured me that they weren't just picking on me personally. And as I said, I don't care about my account, but I won't let someone to accuse me for things I haven't done, especially because I always try to folow every rule.

Today I've banned from e621. Permenantely. Well, it's not that I have an utterly need to keep my e621 account, not really my cup of tea, but it was a good place to find new furry arts and artists. I registered there two years ago because I wanted to keep eye on my art there, and to find some art gems. That's all. The point is a feel totally humaliated now, the way I lost my account, and was treated like a criminal. And this journal is a warning for housholds with multiple e621 accounts. Let me explain why.
Lets see why I'm banned, and why my husband's e621 account (Tacskoexe) was flagged at the very same time.
The message my husband got: "Don't use alts to cheat the voting system. Account affected: Zummeng."
The message I got: "Tacskoexe vote-cheating alt" Without any further explanation.
My husband talked with an admin (because I couldn't send any messages with a banned account) what did led him to make the conclusion we were cheating. My husband provided links to our other accounts to prove we aren't the same person. Well, the discussion ended up we becoming angry, disapponted, and we were just speechless. At first we didn't understand what's the problem was, because we used our accounts properly in the past years and we never and ever had any problem till now. I was banned, because me and my husband live in the same houshold and using the same wi-fi. I couldn't belive what we read, so we asked back, and this was the answer we got:
My husband's question: "How come this wasn't a problem in the past 3-4 years, and now suddenly only 1 account/household is permited?"
The admin's answere: "It happened then just as well, perhaps not as often as I am much more thorough with my work. Your issue is not the first I've dealt with and it won't be the last. As long as people share the same connection, we assume that the connection is for a single person. What happens on said connection is your responsibility, and we do not grant special privileges for relatives or spouses."
Priviliges... So it's a privilige to investigate a problem properly by just clicking on TWO links.
And the answer for why I could keep my account for years: The admin now works harder, and he just spotted our accounts.
And I almost forgot the best.This is what he said when we told him we are not the same person, and he should do his research properly: "Do not tell me how to do my job."

I don't know why having multiple accounts would count as cheating.
Also You have even explained that it was not multiple accounts but You were two different people.
I'm not using the site that much either, My advice would be not to care that much about stuff like that becouse it's not worth the effort. :P
One account per connection is ludicrous in today's technological age. looks like e621 is still stuck back in the stone age.

What a maddening level of log review and work to maintain that level of scruitiny, too.
I've heard that if someone in your household is paypal banned, it can spread like a virus to anyone else in the household regardless of their relationship to the banned person. Haven't seen it happen personally, but its something to watch out for.
i'm slowly making my way up the chain until I find somebody who fucking listens. If you didn't PAY for the work or CREATE the work, then you have no rights to use whatsoever, but they don't seem to understand this.

The pricks assume everybody's a dungeon dweller like themselves and can't grasp the concept of having another resident use an account under the same network. Sad.

One account per IP? Come on... there's nothing to be gained from creating multiple accounts on e621, so how is it cheating? Even if you did deliberately upvote your own art with 2 accounts, not saying you do, but hypothetically *if* you did that, then...so what? Do you get something for it? Last I checked, I don't think that's the case.

he tried to contest it by sending a support email with no help, literally took him almost a whole week of replying before they told him to practically & literally to fuck off... at that point he kept his cool & asked if they can check the IP logs to cross reference & see theyre not the same guy (let alone possibly not even in the same state/country) NMNY immediately pointed fingers and went "AH-HA!! THATS WHAT THE OTHER GUY SAID!! YOURE HIM!!!" and blacklisted him

It was two years ago, but the gist of things is that both him and his roommates had accounts on e6. They shared the home wifi and frequently browsed and commented on the site. However, one of them started trolling and began breaking the rules, insulting multiple users and admins in the process. In the end after a lengthy argument between him and the admins, all accounts associated with that home wifi IP was permabanned. He did nothing wrong, yet he suffered the same fate as a troll who used the same IP as him. In the admin's eyes, he and the troll could have been the same person. Because on the internet, there's no surefire way of determining whether there's only one person or multiple parties involved.
As for your account ban, I'm truly sorry that that had happened. And while I'm writing this, I have searched up your accounts and noticed that there isn't any negative records or bans on them. Perhaps, the ban has been lifted?
So I only use the site to look at art and make sure mines not up there without permission.
And I find it stupid all their draconian rules for such things that could be fixed easily.
And also that they do not have a do not post listing for people who commission art.

Vote fraud when attempted from the same IP would not stop at one or two alts, and the ones that did wouldn't pose a threat to voting.

Banned for creepy comments
Every time i see a banned account on e6, i check their warning list and 9 times out of 10 it's Millcore with their creepy comments crusade.
Most if not all of the listed "examples" are just normal furry porn comments. Ive seen bans take place over just a week, ive seen bans happen over comments that were already weeks or months old before Millcore gets to them.
9 times out of 10 its a creepy comment warning and 9 times out of 10 its Millcore.
Rattle has a couple bad bans but ive seen Millcore and their creepy comments crusade more than anyone else.
This created a situation in which some furs who had problem with creepy randos on fa or twitter only posts on e621 because they can flag comments they think are inappropriate, so millcore notmenotyou or other admin would eventually ban the user.
Yes, I did join in, but again, it was in an effort to resolve it.

1. had an account deleted for a pretty minor fart joke on a comic that was just a couple fart jokes. My joke was something that could have made it into a Disney movie since it was "G" rated.
2. had an account deleted because my username was similar to someone elses username and they deleted like 5-10 accounts, my username was something like "jimmy123" and all the other accounts were similar names to that, all starting with the same word or variants of the word and different numbers after.
3. got deleted for "vote cheating". no idea why since i use a VPN that changes my IP address and it was a new account, i just upvoted a few older posts (each years old).
4. had a couple accounts that were deleted and the reason given was just a link to accounts that werent mine, had different names, and I didnt even recognize.
5. got an account deleted because the account name was "burneraccount" and some random numbers and apparently the mods didnt like that.
6. got a warning for saying "weather like that can be rough" on a safe-rated picture of someone sweating in front of a fan.
Those were the reasons they GAVE but around half the accounts I've had that were blocked/deleted by mods happened more likely because i pissed the mods off. I mentioned them hating a "burneraccount" name but I had a few accounts deleted, a couple of which were 6+ months old and had 50+ comments and a positive score, after i posted comments complaining about the mods or because i messaged them about a ban. One of those times someone asked a question "why are so many comments on here from blocked users?" and i replied with "someone probably made the mods angry" and the next day the account was deleted for some random BS reason, they just listed the reason as a link to some random dead account that had been blocked years ago.
They have insanely vague rules, just look at their FAQ's and on pages like how they define "creepy comments" and you'll see identical thinks listed as "allowed" and "not allowed" which when coupled with the ability to block anyone they think has multiple accounts for any reason means the mods can block anyone they feel like for any reason or even no reason. Like I said i tend to switch my IP address between accounts and i use different emails, usernames, and passwords each time and i usually just lurk or post really tame comments. The mods are just really arbitrary and petty. Even those comments they linked to as "creepy" werent any different then comments other users had posted, some of the others even being pretty gross, graphic, or creepy.

I got banned, can't remember the date, possibly last year or this year? Pled my case pretty heavily, gave receipts. My brother lives in my house and shares the wifi and they thought we were the same person. Luckily I had his username here and it matches the username he uses over there.
They did restore my account, but seeing this story makes me wonder if they'll ever understand multiple users can live in the same residence and share the same IP.
