Getting pretty sick of this!
I have people getting chummy with me, but they have hidden motives.
Kinda like “Wicked Ramos” giving me a character as a “gift”, just so he can try and take her back and try to “share” my characters.
Recently someone started talking to me on tumblr (yes, I’m sorta still on there) who starting talking to be about Squirrel girl from Marvel comics. They also have a love for fat squirrel girl and we shared artwork we have seen drawn by other people or ones I’ve commissioned.
Then suddenly they asked me if I have seen the pic of Squirrel girl drawn by idle-mind

I...don’t recall seeing one drawn by him. They then told me she is in this pack

It then became apparent why they suddenly started talking to me. They want me to buy the pack and show them the squirrel girl pic included in it. They are begging me to buy it now and show it to them.
I haven’t blocked this tumblr user yet, but I’m thinking about it. What do you all think?

I don't know how exactly was your interaction with him, except what you mentioned, so I, with the lack of ''all'' the information, can only propose to confront him. If he gives, or gave, any dead giveaways, or you don't want to deal with the stress, just throw this second paragraph in the trash.

Honestly, I think the best idea would be just to block people like this. I can more or less understand not wanting to spend money (although a $5 art pack seems objectively like a non-issue to me), but a stranger asking someone else to spend money for them is like...not something that should happen???
