Water or sprite sure! Nothing alcoholic though. I have yet to find anything I like, and I do not want to get buzzed or drunk at all.

Preferably not, I'm bad at receiving gifts.

All patched up and ready for megaplex!
General | Posted 12 years agoYup, today a friend came over and helped me fix my feet! Last year really took a toll on them. I had the wrong type of shoes put in first and they came unglued very easily and had to be suddenly patched up RIGHT before the fursuit parade. It was a nightmare! Dx I then got some slippers put in but they were too big on me and didn't feel right, plus I was afraid that they would come unglued or fall apart if I roughhoused too much in it.
So we completely re-did the bottoms with new shoes, new mat, and a new idea for supporting the shoe inside it too. Now it's really secure, but also accessible if I ever need to repair the bottoms again. We used a ton of hi temp hot glue, more mat, and industrial strength velcro to hold it all together. Bobkitty put it to the stress test by jumping around, shuffling around, skipping, etc and it held together. I then did my own test by trying to get up off the ground (lol) and it held up! So I'm ready for megaplex! I just need to make a few minor repairs to the face (Some paint chipped around the eye whites, and I want to secure the balaclava inside better) and get a better brush...maybe a new badge!
