It was a mistake to take that many. I thought I got more confident in drawing and could do them faster than before but that was not true. I turned the first one into a painting at a request too. And my life is still a mess. I feel like my presence on fa has been stagnant for years now, people seem to take less and less interest in my work here. It's distressing. Like I've reached a physical limit to how many people I can interest with my work. I mean It's not an end in itself to me, but it feels like a more and more urgent necessity.

It's hard to think of what else to write about what's been going on without sounding sad. I have a few more things left to do from my backlog, I hope I can manage it without spending another year of my life on it. I've been thinking about just getting whatever miserable dayjob what would take me again, but it would probably drain me of any strength and will to do art in the free time. But maybe it's not that bad, others can do it after all. I've spent all my conscious life trying to get better at art, I feel like I could be competent at other things too if only I had the chance now. I'm thankful for the support network that I do have that eked me through mostly working on commissions all this time.
