I've completed my photos from Midwest Furfest 2016. Thank you all for being so supportive of me as I continue to grow as a photographer and get better shots of you guys and your amazing suits!

Hey all!

Since I got my Sony alpha, I have found myself using my Nikon D50 less and less. This camera has been a work horse for me and taught me so much about photography over the last 3 years I've had it. It is in great condition body wise. The mirror and sensor are nearly flawless still. The only cosmetic damage is a slight crack on the back view screen, and it was like that when I got the camera. It has not gotten any worse over the years.

The lenses are as follows: 50mm f/1.8, 28-80mm f3.3, and 55-300mm f/4.5.

Also includes battery, charger, polarizing filter (fits 50mm lens), Four (4) 2 GB memory cards, memory card reader/adapter, and Camera Bag that fits all this mess! Photos can be found HERE

Hey all!

I have completed all of my photos from Animazment in Raleigh, NC. They are all posted up over on Flickr and I won't bother flooding FA with them, as a majority of them are Cosplay, and not furry at all! (But still worth a look!)

Secondly, I will be at Anthrocon this year from Wednesday the 6th until Monday the 11th. I will be wandering around taking photos as usual, but if for some reason you would like to actually schedule a block of time with me and get some photos taken that are 'in the field' style, please let me know! We can discuss times/prices/quantity/needs and whatever else!

I really appreciate everyone's support/comments/favorites of my photos here as well as on Flickr and my new Facebook page!

I'll continue to keep working hard for you guys at cons so that you can see your suits! Next step is to save up for a new laptop/surface book from Microsoft for the nearly sole purpose of using it as a mobile photo editor/studio while at cons to speed up this process!

Hopefully I'll have this by MWFF next year. (Maybe?)

What does this mean? Well, it means I will be open for 6 slots for photography sessions. I am offering both half-hour and full hour photo sessions that can be either posed and/or candid!

The sessions will include:
For Half-hour:
-2 full size, full resolution edited photos of your choice from the set
-all other photos in internet ready resolution (edited)
For Full Hour:
-5 Full size, full resolution edited photos of your choice from the set
-all other photos in internet ready resolution (edited)

There will also be an option available to get more of the photos in Full resolution full size as well if so desired!

Anyone have a 49-52mm step up adapter they aren't using anymore? I know they are cheap, but I was looking for one to use at AC. If you are going and have one, could ya maybe bring it? That'd be awesome!

I really need to get some new lenses and eventually a new camera, but since I'm doing this as a hobby and not professionally, I can't really justify spending the $1,000's on some nice new equipment. BUT, knowing you all are enjoying my efforts makes it worth it!

Hey, photo peeps. Just some questions to throw out there for ya. I'm thinking that sometime this year I want to do some upgrading to my photography gear. At the moment I have a Nikon D50 with one lens, a 28-80mm /f3.5.

I'm ready to get some better glass, a few more lens options and a better camera in general. Where my issue comes in is I really really want to have a Sony body. Thinking an alpha series camera from them. Mid-range or so. If I go ahead and do that, I'll need to re-learn a camera and push back lenses for a while.

OR, I can upgrade to a newer Nikon and keep my current lens and then slowly amass new ones. I'm not sure what to do. Re-learn a new system (Sony) that I originally wanted to get, or stick with Nikon and get some new lenses first for the D50 before moving on up in body.

Any suggestions?

So our natural science center just opened up a new massive aquarium area. It is fantastic. This was day 2 of being open and it was just slammed with people. That being said, it was difficult to get some good photos of things, but we will be going back.
