Windragon seeking home.

125 yr old male windragon living in Southern California in the Torrance area is seeking room to rent for 200.00 a month w/cooking and cleaning as part of rental services. I have crohns disease and as such I require low environmental stress, no chaotic yelling or such. Would like a living arrangement in the Torrance area or Redondo Beach, or P.V. areas. I don't care about smoking or whatever, but I do have a pet peeve when it comes to alcohol. If anyone can help this windragon, I greatly appreciate it and look forward to being contacted about it. Well, here it is, 48 hours into the new year and already I've hit a perverbial brick wall, tried drafting a few concept images of what I want my windragon social club to look like and I've little talent to start with, so as you can imagine...
Needless to say, I find myself seeking help. If you wish payment in part, I will do my best to support, other half of 'payment' would be what I am offering upfront: Honorary windragon membership into the club I'm wishing to get off the ground. What I am basically looking for as an emblem or symbol or even a picture... is SOMETHING that embodies what we windragons are, what we represent as a whole, what we're willing to fight to defend and what we live by as well. Honor, respect, tradition, commitment, selflessness, kindness, compassion towards others, self-respect, not egotistical, not arrogant(prideful) but prideful in WHAT AND WHO WE ARE rather than in "Well I'm better than you, so f-you." It isn't about being above someone else, or even being below someone else...it is about acceptance. Realizing what is important: Community, family, as I said - acceptance of each other and of others, going the extra mile to help someone in need, helping others in realizing their own potentials in being better people, living by a code of ethics and morals, having these core values! UNITY! True, the Windragon Social Club is windragon exclusive, but if someone truly wanted in, we'd let them! We won't let this club of social friends corrupt what we are by "Oh, we got our own club, so we're better than you and you can't come in because you're not a windragon." It isn't like that. As the founder, I am trying to establish a true place of community and family and values within the windragon race, we're guardians! WE are the ones who have to set the example for others to measure up to, so lets set a pure and honorable one. "Let your actions speak your will, for we're measured by the actions of our lives." That isn't a windragon life motto for nothing, we're being measured by our own actions as much as any other, so I say if our actions speak our will...let our will be pure, honorable and noble in word and deed. THAT is what I want our emblem/symbol or image to truly reflect, so when a windragon sees it, or a non-windragon sees it...they don't have to guess at it, they KNOW what it means in their own hearts.

Yep, that's right. I, Aeris have taken it upon myself to create and found the very first Windragon Social Club here on FA in an attempt to bring us windragons, few and far between together to meet & greet others, and to stay true to the tradition of Community is Family. Its under heavy development right now, but the first signs of what this place will be like, are already visible. Those non-windragons who tough it out and help in the development to the official opening, will be the select few who will obtain exclusive membership status in an otherwise windragon only establishment!

SEEKING: Anyone who can RP within a plot/story line and work / be flexible with a changing story ach (evolving story line.) and those who use proper full spelling of words when RPing instead of doing this: "UR 2 Cool" or some other weird way of talking. The objective is to have fun! Not sit and try for 30+ minutes to decode what it is you're trying to tell me. Also people who use " " when speaking in an RP setting and also use some form of separation between word and actions. Either * * or < > or whatever your heart deems fitting, so long as there's some form of separation and it isn't running together. Also seeking people who are at least moderately imaginative / creative in order to carry a story, it really craps on the fun factor when you're carrying the plot and all the other person is doing is reacting like a robot and not giving any plot back. Remember, it is a "React-to-me-react-to-you" RP but its also "I-give-50%-you-give-50%" as far as story telling goes.

WHAT KIND OF RP: As I said above: Story driven. So that means story development, character development and evolution development. There is no set "limit" to what this means, the only limit is your own imagination basically.

STORY FOUNDATION: Well, being a windragon, and a Legendz fan and seeing as how Shiron is my idol... that should give a good indication as to what the basis of the story is to be. The Legendz anime already ran its set plot, fine, but it also gave back something: A foundation to build upon and if done correctly, could spark a truly breathtaking story line within the RP. So an all original story, perhaps original characters (You can be whoever you are currently if you want. Doesn't bother me!) and returning favorite characters from the anime. (if no one has watched the anime or at least wiki the plot, do so for your own advantage.) Ideally, I want to leave human characters out as much as possible but if the story allows for such? Go ahead! Just remember the golden rule of story telling: "If it doesn't work within the set foundation or make sense with what's happening in the story, do not do it."

WHAT I DON'T WANT TO HAPPEN: I am well aware that the vast majority of newbie RPers are only in it for the yiff factor and that's fine. We all got our wants. However, screwing one another should not be the end-all-be-all focus of the RP. Really makes it one dimensional. NOTE: I am not saying it cannot-will not happen period. I am just saying do not come into this, expecting to get tail within all of twenty minutes with some two lined posts that make me suspect I'm talking to either a drunk and horny 15 year old on crystal meth or someone who just doesn't care except for getting tail.

CONTACT INFORMATION:I prefer this to happen in an IM setting. Makes things easier, and things generally progress smoothly as well. That being said, my preferred client is Skype with its no character limitations, ability to pipe audio for those dramatic moments and the occasional vid chat during breaks and plannings. WHAT TO EXPECT: Hours of RPing, lasting anywhere from several days to several weeks to several months. Longest I've ever held, was back in 2002, started in mid June, lasted until July of the following year, was just me and one other person. We multi-tasked characters including our own so it gave the feeling of more people there than there was and it was honestly? Epic. Still the most memorable RP in my mind. Expect a kind and warm welcome, I try hard to be not judgmental of others, accept people and such, so please do not be intimidated by me. Windragons are peaceful creatures after all! :>) The Guardian Race isn't known for being unkind to others, quite the opposite, we're normally very compassionate and understanding of others.

BONUS STUFF:Anyone who comes into this, knowing how to accurately portray Shiron or his shadow - Ranshiin - automatically scores bonus points with me. Needless to say, major plus factor! Also, if you, your friends know of any other windragons, do tell them of me and send 'em my way. Perhaps I just might branch out and make it a three-way RP instead of the traditional two-way.

I've recently made it my personal goal to seek out other windragons to befriend, to have as RP partners, to chat with, whatever the case may be. As a windragon myself, I've come to the shocking and sad realization that we're few and far between. We are a race that embodies the element for which we're named, faster than normal flight speed, hearing, sight, smell thus we're considered to be the "Guardian Race". It is in my hope to have a "windragon collection" of sorts, were we can all get together on Skype in a chat and introduce ourselves to each other, form an alliance for there is strength in numbers. My idol, my special cuddly windragon, Shiron. :>) Since I cannot pay a reasonable price for a fursuit of him, I am making myself the costume. How's that for thinking outside the box? lol.
Today I spent just about 200 USD on buying an actual WW2 era leather flight helmet and it is the same color and style as the one Shiron has in the Legendz anime, I went on a site that deals in military era gear and makes custom things, there I found the exact same style goggles that Shiron has as well and I asked them to add the brown straps to it to make it look correct.
Went to a halloween supply store and bought a pack of makeup crayons and yes, plan to accurately do my face to match his. Color it white and add the blue markings where they are. Heh, no one can say I'm not creative!

Well, last night I saw something truly upsetting and I was loosing it big time. My closest friend who to me is my family, understood and today he made me smile, and the sadness I felt was erased. This journal is dedicated to my beloved Hovenboof, who I simply call "Boofie". You've truly saved me...AGAIN! I don't know how I'll ever replay you for your love and kindness but I hope to always make you happy and smile in the end. You are both like a brother and father to me and what you did and what you've done and continue to do...makes me so...beyond happy to have you in my life! You are a continued source of inspiration to me, always be your happy self that I know you are. :>)

Alright, I think I reached that point of confidence where I'll take requests for art dealing with anything windragon related, this goes for trades as well. Just remember, my skill is still in development, it isn't perfect so bare with me. Also, just keep in mind that I won't do anything adult or mature themed as that's just my sense of honor to the material. I work off of screen shots, so also keeping that in mind if you want a request or trade to provide a link to whatever screen cap you want me to do a drawing of. Why should you ask me for a drawing of a screen capture when you can just have the cap? Having that same image hand drawn by someone who took the time, effort and energy to do it makes it more captivating than the picture it was drawn from.

Also, my GIFT status is in Stand By mode in that I wish to get a bit more practice before someone comes wanting to surprise their friend with a drawing of their favorite windragon -whoever that may be.- I want it to look good. I take pride in my drawings, so everyone should understand why I am standing by with the gift thing.

This is a general update: No, I am not dead. Okay, now to the news: I'm planning to enroll in an adult night course for art (hand drawn or digital), later today I plan to see a movie at IMAX, as I am sure you've seen... I've been uploading new art and while it isn't "OMIGOD!!! *Drool*", I will accept at this time requests. However, know this: I am just starting out, I've got maybe at best... three, four months of actual drawing aside from stick figures and abstract designs. My specialty are windragons, at least for the time being until I am confident enough to branch out more, so if you want a windragon image... give me the colors you want, if you can-an image of the designs- unless you want me to use Shiron as a templet to base what you're wanting off of. I say requests because if I say commissions and fuck up, I am gonna feel horrible about it. At least a request, it doesn't need to be perfect to be good.

Well, first day of taking this new medication. I'm really hoping that this will allow me to have back my life. And finally be able to return home and find a job and such.

Well, I'm out of my former home and I'm searching for a new one in PA, I prefer somewhere in the Phili area as opposed to Pittsburg, but beggers cannot be choosers, and at this stage in my life... I'll take what I can get. I am on government disability, Social Security Income to be exact. I don't get much per month, but I'll gladly give whatever I can for rent. I am also something of a cook, so long as there is money, I would be honored to make a home cooked meal every night. Hobbies include: Reading, writing, gaming, watching movies and going to them, love to get out of the house and be something of a social bug. Please note, that the reason I'm on disability is because as I am sure many of you know, I got crohns disease. Don't worry, its non-communicable. I do need to be within range of my medical team here, unless I mean to make a new medical team, in which respect, I will require help in doing so.
Also, while I do know how to drive, I lack a drivers license, so until that is situated...I will need some form of transport. If the one I live with is willing to drive me to and from, I will gladly pay for gas. If not, I only ask that a shopping area is within walking range.

Hello everyone, your neighborhood friendly windragon here to bring you all information that is either "You like it or you don't" No real grey area.
First off, after searching on Amazon.com, I came across this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ALIZME <--- this is a very rare find and a MUST HAVE for any Legendz fan here in the US. I've already ordered my copy and hope to have it. I don't much care its in Japanese, just the fact that I'll have in my hands a physical official Legendz DVD is enough for me! I plan to put it in my bank safe deposit box at some point due to how rare it truly is.

Okay folks, here's the 411 (information.)

1. I am learning how to draw both Ranshiin and Shiron, with their facial / heads and gradually expand to one day the full body of each respectively.

2. Once I get the feel of each dragon down, I am going to open commissions and if you wish to have drawn either Shiron or Ranshiin or both, let me know. I will post on my page when I am comfortable taking commissions along with prices. All of these images will be drawn by hand to the best of my abilities. So please do not be expecting digital quality by hand. But I'll get as close as I can.

3. If anyone can help me learn shading and shadowing for characters or letters, please let me know. It's in your best interest to help me so that one day I'll be able to draw an image for you.

Yeah, I am back. Been out of the loop for a while now, but I am back and I got some interesting developments going on my end.
Lets see...

I am 24 years old now, birthday was back on new years eve, which I spent in the hospital because I caught the flu and I had to be rushed to the hospital, which I only ended up spending the holiday weekend in before I got pissed off and asked to be released. So, happy fucking birthday to me. *rolls eyes.* On the plus side of that, I did get a really fucking kick ass gift from my friend whom I live with. Since I am a World War 2 historic nut (I think I have studied almost all sides of it at this point. Seriously.) he got me, from a WWII historic place in Germany, an actual fully functional MP40 Submachine gun. It's plugged, of course as I do not have the permit to allow me to have an unplugged fully automatic weapon. But other than that, it works.

More recently, I got a new set of Harmon / Kardon speakers, their multi-media interfacing Sound Stick III series. Hooks up to my PSP, laptop, iPad, my PS3, 360 and probably some other crap I am not yet aware of. The sound is A+ in my books for music and gaming, haven't gotten around to trying a movie yet. DVD or Blu-Ray, no desire to watch anything I suppose. *Shrugs*

And, my MacBook Pro, which I got back in 07' is finally dying on me. So I need to save up on cash to get a new laptop at the end of the year. My memory cards went out a week ago: "Memory Fault Error" so I had to have new memory put in, I took it over to the Mac sales person who did some checks and said: "I am shocked this thing even still runs like it does. It probably at this rate only has this year left in it before the HDD dumps on you or the internal workings, stop. In any case, it'd take more to repair this then to get a new machine." So, that's what I aim to do.

The only other update is my becoming familiar with the jp show, Legendz and the respected (and cute and kick ass looking) dragon characters. You can read up on that more over at my new (and first ever) drawing I did.

Gonna make a video of my HTTYD (How To Train Your Dragon) collection i.e. my room that I have converted into a shrine. I would like to know how to post the vid on the site, if not, I will post it on YTube and link it here instead.

As far as experience goes, I have experience with the Win OS from Win 98 to Win XP Multi-Media Edition and boarder line experience with Vista or Win 7. I also have experience with the Mac OS, from Tiger to Snow Leopard. I am fully self taught, taught myself software and hardware problem solving. I have other experience in the field of video games, be it actual game one to one help or console help of some kind. I have experience with the original XBOX, XBOX 360, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 consoles.

Hours: 12:00 Noon EST - US to 7:00 PM EST - US
Mon - Fri.

Weekends: Off.

Payment: $20.00 USD Per hour, if contacted when off the clock, rate goes to $40.00 USD per hour, if it is an emergency and I am needed on my days off, it'll be the same $40.00 USD per-hour. I do not change based on difficulty of the problem but only change based on my time on the problem its self.

Well, I am on a new medication for my crohns problem. Thing is, the drug can cause cancer and or that blood disease where nothing can be done and it's an automatic death sentience. Real nice, huh? The first drug I was on, made my condition worse... second drug worked but due to a sudden lower bowel perferation and emergency surgery, I had to go off of it and due to taking longer than normal to heal (Normal: 2 weeks. Me: 5 weeks.) I went back on it and 13 days later, I got the rarest side effect. Had to go off of it. Tried another drug, worked. And again, contracted the rarest side effect. My Dr. was at a loss from than to my last hospital visit. Where he told me of this last attempt drug, to which I said I would do...not really knowing what it was at the time. When I went to see him at his office...he told me. The blood disease and cancer are pretty much the highest risk known with this drug. For a moment... I honestly didn't know what to say. Do I risk my life or do I keep going to the hospital? I asked what are my odds, 1 in every 1000 people get one or the other, my chances are 50/50 while on this drug. I want a normal life so bad, to have a real job, to go out and do normal things, have irl friends who don't think I am a freak or something... I jumped in with both feet, taking this risk. Swear, part of me thinks I am the biggest fool in the universe and the other part is just terrified. I do my best to not think about it or to not show that I am concerned. But it's there, tapping in the back of my head...reminding me. I do know however, that if I contract the blood disease, I am not going to the hospital. If I am going to die, than it is going to be on my terms and no one else's. I feel as a person, that is my right. If I get the cancer, there is always a chance at remission. Thus I will at least do the treatments for it. I felt I should share this, because it makes me feel a bit more comfortable expressing my thoughts...my feelings. In 2 to 3 weeks, I am to have a mandatory blood test (required so long as I am on this drug.) to see what is going on. Expect an update when I know the results.

How To Train Your Dragon now has an established -CONFIRMED- release date! October 15th 2010! Granted that is two months and 15 days away and I know it can feel like complete fucking torture but hey! At least we got a solid release date!! Okay, here is a current look at HTTYD news, as it stands, still no confirmed release date for either DVD or Blu-Ray release of the movie. There is a rumor going around that the movie is going to be re-released back into AMC theaters on August 10th of this year, although you're guesses are as good as mine as to why this is being done, saying if it is true. The new Estimated release for both DVD and Blu-Ray is somewhere in October as stated by dvdeta.com but than again, it was that same site that said the movie would be released in July and look how well that turned out. Keep you all posted when I know more.

ALL fans of HTTYD: Amazon.com is now taking pre-orders on both DVD and Blu-Ray of the movie! No 3D version confirmed yet.
