I bought a YCH from her last year and she never delivered. I never received any updates either even though she kept promising to have some to share "next week" which, as you can imagine, never came.
I wanted to be graceful since after commissioning her she went through a lot of personal battles including a surgery but her absence and lack of communication started to worry me. I reached out to her on several occasions through different outlets trying to get a hold of her but never got a response. My last message to her is still sitting unread in my FA notes.
I wasn't going to post this since there wasn't much that I could do. My time to file a chargeback had come and gone so I considered my money to be permanently lost and she went completely inactive in her account so I wasn't worried about anyone else falling into the same trap that I did.
However, just a few minutes ago I went on her profile out of sheer curiosity and noticed that she has erased all her shouts (which included me and a bunch of other people concerned about her absence) and she also deleted the last submission of her gallery which also had comments of mine asking about her whereabouts and feeling like I had been scammed. My message to her is still unread like I mentioned but she clearly has logged into her account at some point and deleted all traces of her absence and of the work/money she owes to her customers.
As much as I would like to have faith that she is doing so in preparation for an update, the fact that she STILL hasn't answered me but has the time to go and clean her profile of all comments that point to her bad business is not a good look and doesn't give me much hope for her or my commission.
Just putting it out there since her profile states she's open for commissions again. Don't do business with her. Beware.

My first furry convention
General | Posted 8 months agoIf all goes well, I will be going to my first ever furry convention this year! I will be attending FursonaCon in Newport News, VA. I will be hanging around with two of my closest friends and I'm so hyped!
I've never traveled before so it'll be a lot of "firsts" for me. Specially considering that it won't be a direct flight there x.x but, I'm hopeful for safe travels and a great time with my friends.
With all that's happening in the U.S.A. right now I think we all need a bit of happiness and reasons to smile. And after all the hurdles I've had with scammers both in and outside of the furry community for the past two years now I reeeeeally just want to be happy, man.
Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely easter weekend if you celebrate it. And if you don't celebrate it, I hope you have a lovely weekend regardless. Chocolate is universal, go buy some chocolate bunnies while you can!

I think I got scammed
General | Posted 9 months agoSo I'm having the worst of luck lately. Outside of the furry community I have been dealing with the worst artist of all time who had owed me money and art for MANY many months. And now here in FA one of the artists I had commissioned last year has completely disappeared. I sent them a note a month ago and they haven't even seen it. I used the email attached to the paypal invoice to contact them and still no reply. The paypal transaction is past 180 days so I can't get my money back. I know that's my fault basically for not acting sooner but I trusted this person to actually deliver. They also mentioned having a surgery they were recovering from and me being naive believed them. A part of me still does.
Today I went back to paypal and searched for the transaction to see if there was ANYTHING that could be done and when I requested details for the invoice this is what paypal had to say

We removed this invoice because it may have been a scam. Our fraud detection tools work around the clock to help keep online commerce safe for everyone.
What to do next?
Do not call any numbers or click any links that are in the invoice and consider deleting the email.
If you think this invoice is valid, contact the seller for another way to pay.
Like....okay? They deleted it but it is already paid. I don't even know what to do. I'm also waiting on another two art pieces so I'm just super on edge. I don't know what else to do.

AI artist on the prowl
General | Posted 9 months agoA brand new user registered today under the name vikywalker and they're posting AI generated "art". The captions under the submissions are very clearly the prompts used to generate the images. This is against FA's upload policy which states the following under section 2.13
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Content made using AI, machine learning, or similar generators is not allowed, including derivative works created from it (e.g. stories, audio, backgrounds, paint-overs, using one's own content to generate new content).
I already filed a ticket to report this user and I'm making you all aware about their pressence. They even have the gall to have commission prices in the commissions tab on their profile. This is absolutely unacceptable and should be reported immediately.

General | Posted 11 months agoHi everyone! I'm sorry for my inactivity recently. My disposable income has been running low so I haven't been able to commission as many artists as I would like. Now with everything going on in the US, which greatly impacts me here in Puerto Rico, I have lost almost all motivation to draw. I have so many ideas but zero desire to bring them to life. Which sucks and it shouldn't be that way. I took up writing again to get me in the creative mood so hopefully I can start drawing more eventually (even if it's just silly doodles). For now, for those of you who love Velma, expect a short NSFW story coming very soon.

She sliced the tape along the length of the box and lifted all four flaps. After removing some packing peanuts that were in the way, she found a small note that was sitting at the top:
Velma set the note aside and hastily removed more of the packing peanuts until they revealed what she had truly been waiting for all this time. In bright, purple neon letters against a gunmetal gray box read the words "The ULTIMATE Buddy+"
