I want to summarize my weekend a bit.
- I finally finished reading the episode about Sapkovsky's Witcher. How much time has passed, eh. I first encountered the witcher in elementary school (my father bought a CD with the first and second parts, it was around 2010-2011). The second part lagged a lot, but the first one worked with a bang. By age, this game was not suitable for me, which only made it more interesting to play it. (I think it's a game and has influenced my tastes in games, music, books, and movies.) I learned about the existence of books only by the end of high school, in the tenth grade I read the first book, and, by the way, in the final essay I took an example from The Last Wish. If I'm not mistaken, then I came across the topic - greater and lesser evil (which was perfect for the book)))). Well, I decided to seriously read the entire series only in my first year, although due to the constant changes around me, I had to leave this idea for half of the series. Exactly one year ago, I decided to re-read everything, starting from "Last Wish" then and ending with "Lady of the Lake" now. Many people don't like the way the story continued, that the first parts were better, don't like the ending, etc., but I'll say this - I was satisfied with everything. True, I liked it, yes, there are moments that were a little strange for me, but overall, I'm very happy. "The Season of Thunderstorms," "Claws and Fangs," and the recently acclaimed "Raven's Crossroads" are not included in the main series, but complement it, and they are still waiting for me to start on them. Well, in my plans (even more likely in my dreams), I want to re-go through the first witcher, so to speak, with a new look (did you even know that the Salamanders group was originally a personal group of Emhyr's bodyguards in Nilfgaard? I'm not), go through the second one (but to a different ending with Yorvet, before that I went through with Roche) and after that enjoy the third witcher, with knowledge of the whole previous story.☺
- just today I interviewed "Cult of the lamb". Damn it, this is a really cool game, which I recommend to anyone who likes to dive into different entanglements, likes different sarcastic things, but if he also likes dark references to religions and cults in games and movies, then this is generally yours. Maybe I'll make some more cult fanarts in the near future.
- well, they took me to the zine. This is the first time I'm going to participate in this, I've never done it before. True, it will only be an electronic zine, without printing, but it's still nice. I won't tell you what kind of zine I'm going to draw or who I'm going to draw, but as soon as something comes up, you'll know about it.
Well, that's it, and how was your weekend? Did you get enough sleep before the start of the academic quarter/semester? Or before work? (did you have days off, or did you work during the holidays?)
