General | Posted 14 years agoWhy is it that unless I'm posting a journal pimping out someone's free goodies, half the time the people watching me pay no damn attention? I also have advertised for people in need, but a lot of the time, when me and lynx are in need, very rarely do we see the same courtesy?
I'm not singling anyone out, I'm just getting really irritated at seeing this sort of thing over and over again, no matter what the case, whether it's twitter, facebook, FA or any number of social networking and art sites, unless it has to do with getting something free, people just don't respond.

Something that's bugging me

STOP. Just fucking stop adding the word 'fur' to whatever phrase or word you want, replacing a key part of it to try and make it sound relevant to the fandom. It's just fucking stupid. Yeah, here and there it's cute, but we really do not need terms like 'fursecution' or 'Grammar Furzi', and yes, someone actually tried to use that last one today.
This also goes for the words 'yiff' and any other animal sound. It just makes our fandom sound even dumber in a society that already looks down on us for things like CSI, and Tyra Banks.
Seriously, think about it for awhile.

Hair: Auburn, worn in a high ponytail, about mid back.
Job Class: Gunmage

Name: Anna Neustadt
Species: Raccoon
Gender: Female
Fur color: White raccoon with Aqua markings
Eye Color: same as markings
Hair: White with Purple streaks, worn in a long, thick braid
Job: S.T.A.R.S division of the Raccoon City Police Dept. (Obvious pun anyone?)
Body type: Full figured, above average breasts, wide hips.
