My year so far
General | Posted 4 years agoHas not been great in all honesty, Caught covid in Jan, had a fairly bad fall after work not even weeks after recovering from that, and had a fairly bad day after getting the covid booster.
But to be fair being out of work for two weeks was kind of nice because it allowed me to reconnect with some friends I lost contact with due to working a lot, I honestly wouldn't mind reconnecting with more people but, with the way this year has been going I'm not going to press my luck and look people up, Which is why I've decided to update my contact info in places.

A video I found
General | Posted 7 years agoI think this video is a good watch, disproves the "Video games cause violence" stupidity.

A thought on Super Mario Bros 3
General | Posted 9 years agoWho doesn't like SMB3? It's like everyone's favorite NES game, But while listening to someone play through it I had a thought:
Maybe there was too much new stuff in that game, I say that cause there's a lot of good stuff that was brand new and... never used again like kuribo's shoe, buzzy beetles (the flying things you can ride) or even the death waffle things.
I know this isn't like the biggest things ever, just something I've noticed.

Valentine's day thoughts
General | Posted 10 years agoTo be honest I don't really care, I don't really have anything to do with it, I used to be depressed about it but eh.
I just think its more important to love the friends and family in your life, and not forget those that for whatever reason are no longer around.

That FA meme thing
General | Posted 12 years ago1. Why did you join FurAffinity?
Because porn, also some (at the time) hyena said it would be a good idea
2. What does your username have to do with you?
I've been using it as a username, that's about it, I kinda saw it among a listing of names and thought it sounded cool.
3. What is your current avatar of?
My fursona skeched by
mochi and colored by myself
4. How many watchers do you have, and how many do you watch?
I am watched by 115 accounts and I am watching 977 accounts
I say accounts instead of people because of people with multiple accounts

Nope, not yet and I don't plan on having more than one at this time.
6. Name 3 of your favorite artists on FA.
Any Three? um...

No one springs to mind, there are a lot of down to earth, humble artists who outshine the "douchebag artist" stereotype.
8. Do you comment, fave, or both?
I haven't faved as much as I could, more commenting when I can think of something worth saying.
9. What do you typically post on FA?
Pictures of bracelets and such that I've made, creepy comments
10.What's your favorite submission in your gallery?
My Second personal bracelet.
11. What are the things you wish you could draw better?
EVERYTHING, I don't actually draw at the moment.
12. How many hours a day do you spend on FA?
My FA page is my homepage so, a couple hours or so.
13. Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
Medium I'd say
14. What is the most annoying thing people ask you?
Nothing, Absolutely nothing since I don't get questions
15. What is the most annoying/offending comment you've received?
Not much there yet.
16. What/who inspires you?
I don't really have any inspiration at the moment.
17. Everyone has considered leaving FA once or twice. Have you? Why?
Not really, If I left FA it'd just leave it as is.

Yeah, It's over a decade old but... it was the first time I remember seeing any kind of furry stuff.

VIDEO GAMES (Yes I'm jumping on this bandwagon)
General | Posted 12 years agoHokay, for those who do not know there has been some debate (to put it mildly) about this picture http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10627437/ (as if you haven't seen it already)
Personally, I'm with the people who say that these players have lost their ability to experiment and think for themselves. HOWEVER I'm inclined to think that there is a bit more than just that going on.
Now see personally as someone who has played games since the NES was a relevant gaming system I think that the issue is more about people who have been there with gaming all along vs those who haven't.
See back in the day way back when these games were $50 and a trip to a store instead of around $10 and/or a five second download video games were for nerds. No escaping it, if you played video games you were a fucking nerd and socially irredeemable. And now? you've got idiots going "Hay I am a gamer gurl look at me chewing on this controller cord" and BITCH THAT RUINS THE CONTROLLER WHAT ARE YOU A DOG?
Anyway before I get too off topic tl;dr New age gamers don't appreciate older games because of less investment and it's not their only solace.
I know there's a lot more shit but that's what I'm gonna say.
EDIT: Because I can...

General | Posted 13 years agoObligatory New Year's Journal
General | Posted 13 years ago2012 could have been a good year, Meeting new people, new friends, reacquainting myself with old ones...
But the year started off unforgivably shitty with the death of my mother, barely more than two weeks into the year. Which is probably why I've been feeling crappy recently, what with holidays and then that day coming up again...
Well whatever I guess, 2013 can be better.

Just some random stuff
General | Posted 13 years agoSome random crap because I can
First to come to mind is that I did something stupid and now I have a house in SL, probably gonna leave it open to people who want to hang out or whatever, you can find my SL name on my page, IM me for a landmark if you're so inclined, probably will post pics on the Footpaw network.
Secondly... Christmas is coming, and I'm not looking forward to it at all, it was my mother's favorite time of the year and she passed in January... Not the best time of the year for anyone in the family.
I noticed that somewhere I've gotten 99 watchers, no idea when that'll hit 100 but I probably should do something for that, not sure what though.

Socialism (No not that kind)
General | Posted 13 years agoI seem to be a bit more social in the furry fandom these days, Somehow hanging around with furries has become more fulfilling than hanging out with gaming people (even if there is a little overlap in both)
Anyway out of pretty much everything else possible I've been idling in Second Life a lot recently so feel free to IM me on there people, My contacts list is pretty short and about half of the people on it I don't see online ever.
Plus I'm gonna give a shout out for
Mokusei_Kaze's ask tumblr here http://askmoku.tumblr.com/

General | Posted 13 years agoNo really, I've got probably 75 active watchers but only 12 submissions, even when factoring friends that doesn't quite add up, So I'm kinda interested in knowing why and honest answers would be nice.
Phantasy Star Online 2
General | Posted 13 years agotl;dr: They took everything from PSO, expanded it and made it better. ALSO: when you make a character throw on any accessories you may want later so you don't have to try to get them later, they are NOT buyable.
BUT I'm assuming some people want more info than that WELL... Most of my experience in PSO/PSU/PSO2 has been with Hunters so, sorry to the fans of Forces and Rangers but I can't say too much about those classes, except what is shared between all three classes.
First off there's no semi-invisible dodge/evasion roll whenever you get hit, They implemented a dodge button and depending on what weapon Hunters can defend. Secondly Photon Arts are back but that'll be in with the Hunter info below. Third: MULTI PARTY AREAS! Yeah, there are areas where you can run into other people outside of your party doing their own thing. Finally you only get three weapons to quickly switch between. But it works.
As for Hunters? Well Remember the three hit combo from PSO/PSU? Yeah that's kinda gone, Now as long as you can keep hitting the attack button you can keep attacking without stopping for a second after every third hit, as for Photon Arts? Rather than only having one per weapon you can bind three. One for each part of the normal combo.
So just... check it out if you liked either Phantasy Star Online or Phantasy Star Universe or even Phantasy Star Portable. UNFORTUNATELY it's mostly japanese, even with the english patch, but most of the english speaking players seem to be on either ship 2 or 10.
