General | Posted 13 years agoHeya all, I'm still around. Just have not been as active lately due to my job doing it's best to eliminate my sweet, sweet art time. I'm still working on new stuff here and seem to have built up a decent collection of pencil sketches and inked works that need posted.

An update on Micro Adventure(No new version yet)
General | Posted 14 years agoJust wanted to let all those watching me for my little flash project know that I am still working on it, it just kept getting shoved aside due to artistic output increasing, but for the moment I am reversing that situation and am now shifting focus back to Micro Adventure.
I had recently just about burned out my creativity and am just now recovered enough to start writing again. Hopefully I'll also have the time to write the stories that go along with this pile of art I need to upload, as I still have stuff from a couple months back that needs my writer's touch before being uploaded.

General | Posted 14 years agoHeya all. Just got something pointless for you all to think about.
Does everyone see colors the same? I mean, sure we may all associate colors with the same things, but is one person's green the same as another person's in their mind? say two people look at a blue object. Their eyes take in the blue light, but is it possible that their brains process it so that while they are looking at something blue, in the person's heads they see two different colors, say person 1's blue is same as person 2's red, while person 2's blue is person 1's green.
Idunno... Kinda hard to explain the concept, but I'm sure someone might understand. Just though I would put it out there to give everyone else a nagging feeling about coloring stuff.

Thinking too much about Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

First of all, someone should take Jack Sparrow to Neverland. The results could only be awesome.
I always find myself laughing when I get paired up with Luxord for Wonderland missions... I saw it coming the moment I picked up the game, but still... Cards!
Another thing about Neverland is that if you rotate the camera in 358/2 Days, the treetops spin around!
Somebody should totally try feeding a Nobody with a Heartless... I wanna see what happens!
Lastly, Nobodies can be sexy... Very sexy... XD

Starting to consider changing my "No social networking" in light of this realization, but it's made me curious... Just what sort of stuff do people use twitter for? I'm ridiculously clueless for a Microsoft Certified Server Admin... Seriously... I've never touched Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter in my life... Also, what sort of stuff do all you furries out there use it for?

As some of you probably noticed, I have taken up inking pictures by hand. I was just wondering it you all liked the thick-lined style of the recent pics of Lugia I drew, or do you prefer thinner lines?
I personally love the thick lines, but also value opinions of others.

Micro Adventure Alpha 3.1 Release and Changelog

Fix to an issue that was causing the active characters listing to vanish when wandering around the labs.
Alpha 3.1 - Posted to FurAffinity.net Oct. 29th 2011
Added a metric assload of placeholders to fix numerous missing choice issues.
Using the Time Advancer seems to react badly with the area frame, causing the name of the area listed in the background to glitch out randomly.(Think I got it fixed finally!)
Fixed minimap for teleportation lab.
Fixed several issues with Tobias' text not fitting right. (If any remain, please tell me.)
Fixed issues with dialog not working correctly for Tobias and the nude wrestling paths.
Added characters: Ami, Cszerka(Only one with any actions currently. Check the nude beach at normal or doll size), Flei, Lowan, Taru
Characters with new dialog: Kerta(Doll-size), Tobias(Fixed dialog. New stuff at Doll-size, Karen(Ant-size), Sveta(Normal-size)

Secret stuff added to game, but no interactions availible yet. Portal's in parking lot once activated.(No, not that kind of portal, you monster.)
Changed Shrink/Grow options not involving NPCs to never disable.
Starting to add in more interactions for Normal Size to give a chance to get to know characters before screwing with your height. Still not a lot to do at the smaller sizes yet, I've been working mostly on Normal and Half sizes.
Starting on creating a vieable schedule for the characters. Think Bomber's notebook from Majora's Mask

Shadow-Half/Doll
Tobias - Half sized, doll-sized
James - Normal, Half-sized
Tanya - Half-sized
Lori - Normal-sized
Kendi - Nude Wrestling
Made passwords active at the time of saving actually save and load.
First password option complete, fixed save/load capabilities for passwords to avoid a character duplication bug.
Added capability for passwords entered will be added to a game when the Load Game button is clicked. (Example: Type password into password box and load game, any passwords not active in the saved game that have been activated at the main screen will be activated once the game is loaded.
Added Main Street and Water Park. Linked Zoo in to Main Street to make it accessible. Added a nude beach connected to the normal beach. Added a farm house for Wu to live in.
Converted Alien World to Tidanus, added Tidan Home to Tidanus.
Passage to Tidanus only possible at Normal and Half Size for the moment. Working on ways for smaller sizes.
The school is back, now split into both high school and missle school. Don't bother trying anything there. There won't be anything to do there for quite some time, and most likely never will at least on FA. I'll make a special version for that one.

Jonathan - Ray Lab (Nothing but a few choices. Present at starting location.)

Fixed an issue where whatever area the player started in would have unformatted text display in the location box and navigation buttons until leaving the area.
Secret stuff added to game, but no interactions availible yet. Portal's in parking lot once activated.(No, not that kind of portal, you monster.)
Changed Shrink/Grow options not involving NPCs to never disable.
Starting to add in more interactions for Normal Size to give a chance to get to know characters before screwing with your height. Still not a lot to do at the smaller sizes yet, I've been working mostly on Normal and Half sizes.
Starting on creating a vieable schedule for the characters. Think Bomber's notebook from Majora's Mask

Made passwords active at the time of saving actually save and load.
First password option complete, fixed save/load capabilities for passwords to avoid a character duplication bug.
Added capability for passwords entered will be added to a game when the Load Game button is clicked. (Example: Type password into password box and load game, any passwords not active in the saved game that have been activated at the main screen will be activated once the game is loaded.
Added Main Street and Water Park. Linked Zoo in to Main Street to make it accessible. Added a nude beach connected to the normal beach. Added a farm house for Wu to live in.
Converted Alien World to Tidanus, added Tidan Home to Tidanus.
Passage to Tidanus only possible at Normal and Half Size for the moment. Working on ways for smaller sizes.
The school is back, now split into both high school and missle school. Don't bother trying anything there. There won't be anything to do there for quite some time, and most likely never will at least on FA. I'll make a special version for that one.

-Added Dialog for more sizes than just Normal
Added new size - Half

Unknown - Unknown(No character. Good luck finding this one without the debug room, it is real and accessible.)
Normal size:
All normal-sized characters except Lori.
Juuhai - Sidewalks(Appears rarely 24 hours a day. Keep going back and forth between sidewalks to find it.)
Doll-size:
Shadow - Beach(Round midnight, lots and lots of text. go to the temple early in the morning to meet her at normal size.)
Harris - Boss's Office(~8am-5pm)
Aster - Men's Room (Very little. Same hours as Harris. Don't go to him unless you like it a bit dirty.)
Jonathan - Ray Lab (Nothing but a few choices. Present at starting location.)

Expanded debug rooms to go to more locations.
Identified issues for this version:
1. The game freezes if you reach an end in the dialog that would normally branch out into more options. Working on fixing the code to deal with this. Do not rewind the flash. The dialog variables do not reset. Doing so will leave any actions you took previously to still be disabled. Just refresh the page instead.
WORKAROUND: Hit the (#) button if you get stuck after reaching the end of an incomplete dialog path. It will reset all dialog and reactivate all buttons.
2.Dialog too long for boxes for Shadow and Aster.

It seems that when I get an idea that I just can't resist drawing, everything gets tossed aside... Then that happens in several layers until I have around twenty incomplete works, five complete, and none of them are what I should have been working on.
I'm sorry if you all were expecting something a little faster, but fast turnaround for Kerta seems to never be all that fast...

A Wacom Intuos 3! For two dollars! Still works, in great condition and has a really nice pen. I think I'm in love with this thing... It's so much smoother than my Bamboo tablet... and still lightyears ahead of my ancient Summasketch that doesn't even have pressure sensitivity.
I know I don't normally brag about stuff like this, but it was two dollars! Two dollars for a better tablet than the one I payed $80 for!

Dragons of the earth...
General | Posted 14 years agoYeah... You know how I tend to draw video game bosses in sexual situations every now and then? I went totally overboard this week on my breaks at work. No less than twelve sketches, most of them almost postable at the moment, and all of them involving the dragons from Chrono Cross... In fact, over half of them are just the Earth Dragon. Hell, I've even thrown in the fire dragon into two of them for no reason at all. Anyone who's interested in seeing more of these wonderful creatures should keep an eye out, as I will be posting several of them once I get the time to **** with my artifact-from-the-90s scanner and get them all onto my computer... Maybe touch them up with some nice linework or something too. You'd be surprised how good the Earth Dragon looks with a nice cock... Yes I am aware of the fact the dragon is a female in the game... Came up with a nifty way to pass it off though.
Damn... I've never went and drawn the same thing so much so quickly in my entire life... What the hell is going on with me....

Requests are still being worked on, just even more slowly as I made the mistake of starting them digitally, which pretty much means that I have zero time to work on them at the moment. The world conspires to keep me away from the one computer that can actually do images at the resolutions I tend to work at.(Never less than 4000x4000, usually averages with a 6000 in there somewhere, which is almost too much for even my desktop PC to handle.)

General | Posted 14 years agoAs you might know, I've been a bit busy lately. That hasn't stopped me from making crappy doodles and sketches at work. Not all of them are anywhere near complete and may never be. I've got a ton of these incomplete drawings on my hands. The question is:

General | Posted 14 years agoBeen trying to adjust to my new job. Not exactly taking it too well, unlike every other job I've had before. I'm getting nervous to the point of nausea before my shifts and for some reason, they have very complicated procedures for everything that I can't follow through on because they never bothered to tell me what the hell I'm supposed to do for half the stuff...
Anyways. Has anyone else out there found it difficult to maintain an artistic lifestyle while working? I only just noticed that the moment I got a job, my production of art ground to a near complete halt. It's been over a month and I have made almost no progress on anything, only slowly poking along through commissions and constantly being unable to finish an image because of lack of time and motivation. Right now, the only thing keeping me from descending into madness is my few friends from this site.
I've gotta ask anyone out there who maintains posts at more than four a week, how do you do it? Is there some secret to being so amazingly productive?
Also. Does anyone have any tips to making better line art in oC? All my line work looks downright messy with my current methods of using the watercolor brush or pen with the eraser tool. I really obsess over details like that. Probably have some form of OCD, and its driving me nuts because it takes hours for me to get it all to look consistent through my current methods.
I could really use some moral support...
