Hey guys, I hope y'all had a wonderful thanksgiving and bought a lot this Black Friday and still are going with Cyber Monday

I've been working hard with commissions I got right now, got a queue on despite not doing any announcements, What does this mean? It means I am in a "slow mode" for taking commissions. I am going to take these as normal and in the usual pacing I take with those but I am not actively promoting openings like before such in the case of this past summer when I had to lock in for computer parts but was so set back and was barely recovering during August-September but I am back afloat and with some savings and getting a money bonus from work a couple weeks ago I got me a Nintendo Switch 2, and if I'm bored I just draw on my sketchbook like I usually do to blow off some steam and practice.

I am no longer attending FWA due to this past one being a bit lacking in comparison to the previous 2 and it's expensive to fly to it so I'm sticking to much more budget friendly cons, I am attending ANE (Anthro New England) this next January, funnily enough it's cheaper for me to fly to Boston than to Atlanta despite the distance and I had a great time during this year's so I am going to be attending for as long as I'm able to. However I might have to stick to closer/cheaper cons in terms of commuting and vacation days, I might even have to attend those in my home country just to see my buddies or in the case of Confuror those in south america. But between ANE and confuror I am unsure where I might be going next but AFC (Another Furry Con) in Ontario, CA during September *Might* be my next destination, I tried to attend that one but given the month prior I was still majorly set back from the PC part hunt I couldnt attend.

Anyway wonder who am I seeing during ANE?

Whew, it's been a week but last week I ordered the last things I needed to have it build and should be arriving within this week. I'm still taking commissions though.



Long story short, PC started to fail me since last october but in June the screen got fucked up suddenly and i cant see things clearly so I decided to collect PC parts and had enough money to buy 2 of them and made my way from there.

Secured 6 parts so far already! Now it's just time to take on more commissions, even if I already get the main computer built I still need to get stuff like monitors (going to get 2), keyboard/mouse, etc. but pretty much we are at the endgame!

Thanks to people's efforts I Finally acquired 4 parts right now, though the 4th has yet to be delivered, so during the meantime I'm going to save up for the remaining 4 parts i need.

I announced on my latest journal that I bought 2 parts as a head start (Memory and CPU), and these past 2 weeks I bought the Motherboard and the Graphics Card, those were the most expensive parts.so now that I bought them everything onwards will be easier (CPU cooler, Power Supply, Case and Hard Drive).

My laptop screen is fucked up but my tablet works like normal, I decided i wanted to save up for computer parts now to permanently upgrade while I still can.

So far only bought 2 parts (cpu and memory) but I gotta get the rest and motherboard and graphics cards are two hurdles i gotta overcome but I'll manage. I dont have a set objective amount as prices and importing to mexico may vary but according to Pcpartspicker.com its about $1,500 which isnt unrealistically for me to get. I have roughly $80 saved for another part (not tied to my actual budget) as a head start. If I keep at this pace I might get my new computer by the end of July or August.

I am not taking donations unless I am on the final stretch.

Maybe I'll do something where people can give money and get an incentive in return like a quick sketch drawing.

Thinking of attending AFC as it's semi-local to me so I can have friends drive me to there but i wanna ask if anybody has free space for one more.

Im paying in cash (cause i cant rely on money transfer services taking a portion) and I have a Nintendo Switch with Youtube and I got premium so no ads.

I would prefer people I know online though.

If by mid July I dont get anyone im gonna cancel my plans, Early bird ends at the end of July so i got 1 and half months.

This con was far from perfect because of the difficulties, though the upside is that I met a lot of friends and made new ones in the process. Sadly though its going to be my last FWA, in favor of more budget friendly ones. ANE hit the right amount for me so I will be frequenting that one. Another is AFC which is semi-local to me, LVFC is also a potential candidate as well.

Taking as many comms as I can before I close on may 2nd.

Given I made this account all the way back in 2016 and I was lazy to migrate nearly 3 thousand watchers over I decided to bite the bullet and get FA+ and upgrade my username to what I am currently known as online as I stopped being Mangawoof since Summer 2017 but my username was still that for the longest time.

ANE ended 3 days ago, it was definitely the best con I have ever been. Mostly because of the room parties I got to and I feel like a brand new person after all this. Didnt get to spend too much money on it at least cause a lot of the vendors i bought from in the past have set up booths in other cons I attended so it wasnt as necessary. I got to see friends both old and new too!!

I aint celebrating particularly in any specific way today but ANE is next week so that's when *my* celebration is.

The possibility of going is on the table, I have potential room to stay but which of you do go to this? Its prettt packed, my only cons ive went are MFF 2022, 2023 and FWA 2023, 2024, with the addition of having attended Confuror (mexican fur con) next month), asked a friend about how the area is and all that so im pretty inclined to go

So I am moving out and going to rent a room for myself next week, while I can afford the rent and other expenses I'll be a little inconvenienced so I will have to take comms to at least endure the couple of weeks as my next two paychecks are going to get eaten by other expenses, going to have nothing to save.

Possibly the best con Ive had so far, met long time friends online and made some new ones. I will possibly become a regular, however 15 thousand attendees? Damn it was very packed compared to last years, luckily I was in a 6th floor and some friends were a floor above or below, I had no complain with not using elevators.

I will be attending Furry Weekend Atlanta this next month. I will be just attending so say hi if you see me around!
