I know I haven't been uploading much, but there's a ton of art I'm sitting on for a big 2020 new character design reveal!
I have some other commissions in the work for the current iteration of Maxx, including a 6-7 page comic and I'm hoping to get that out to you all soon!
Expect some December uploads and a huge chunk of uploads for January/February for the new design along with (hopefully!!) a YCH giveaway piece!

I HIT 3K WATCHERS!
First off a big thank you to everyone who has been following me since 2K or even 1K and less. The long time fans, commenters, and favorite-rs are some of the people who keep me coming back to buying art, and keep me sticking around supporting this fandom and its artists. Thank you all so much ;w;
Second off, a big shoutout to all the artists who made the art to make this happen. You all are truly the masters of your craft, and your talents and careers have and always will be awe-inspiring to me and make you worth supporting as a commissioner.
So, as is tradition on this page, we're going to have a Free Art stream hosted by 
lyme-slyme for 10 slots of 2 character art. These are going to be picked by Lyme at his discretion and what he wants to draw. We'd like to host two streams on July 11th and 12th from 12pm-7pm CST, but we'd like some suggestions for days that work better if you can't make these streams. If you'd like some art please post the following below in the comments.

Hope you've all been enjoying the recent uploads! The comics were super fun to get and I really appreciate a lot of the feedback we've got so far for both.
However, most of my backlog is either soon to be completed or is already completed and has been subsequently uploaded, so as usual I'm looking for new ideas and new art to get, including Maxx as that's the point of the gallery, so here's some basic rules if you'd like me to purchase any art of Maxx and your character:
1. Please comment below with an idea that includes your character and Maxx in any way in the following format;
- SFW / NSFW
- Reference Sheet:
- Idea/Poses/Mood:
- References for the idea/clothing/Poses:
2. Please do not include references of humans, feral characters, or extremely stylized references; generally, if a good artist would refuse to work with it, I can't use it.
3. Please indicate if you'd like me to cover the costs, or if you're willing to go 50-50 on the commission; this won't affect your chances of getting art more than someone not splitting costs with me, as I pick based on ideas, not cost.
4. You can also note me the idea if you want to keep it private, but I won't tell you if I'm going to pick your idea or not. These aren't primarily based on "I like X fetish more than Y", they're based on how thorough of a commission idea you can present in words. Better writing for your idea, better I can visualize and present it to an artist, higher chance of being picked.
5. You can suggest an artist, provided they're currently open or have announced they're opening soon as this will help me commission your idea faster!
You're also welcome to just put ideas for me to get with Maxx in the comments, or general themes you'd like to see me commission more of with Maxx, in regular "What do you want to see more of" fashion. I really try to listen and adhere to what my watchers want to see more of!

How do you find new artists to commission these days?
General | Posted 7 years ago It's been a while since I've gone commissioning, so I wanted to see what tips or tricks you all have for finding new artists!
Drop a comment below and let me know how you decide on who to commission, now that a lot of people are Patreon exclusive, tumblr deplatformed everyone, and FurAffinity has apparently been pushing people away somehow?
I see a lot of people promoting Weasyl, Twitter, and FurryNetwork too, but moving platforms and uploading 700+ pieces of art seems silly.
I also tried commiss.io but the quality is extremely variable. Happy New Years!

I'll be uploading a lot of backlogged art here over the next month.
I had a crazy ass stalker who doxed me and my roommates, and it took a long time to get new phone numbers, passwords, even moved.
I had a lot of people telling me not to let them have their way and keep me locked out of a fandom I put years into supporting, so I'll stay as long as I have the support of others telling me to keep going!
Thanks to the many of you who messaged me in my hiatus or found ways to contact me and talk me back into rejoining this fandom. I love all of you!!!

General | Posted 7 years ago Like I noticed MarioInATopHat, Jameskii, and now Hbomberguy all have furry profile pictures now done by furry artists and designed at their discretion, but have all said in Q&A's they're not furries and have no interest in being furries.

General | Posted 7 years ago Normally I like to get my opinions from the user replies on the journal that FA staff put up, but this one has been suspiciously comment-preventive.
I want to hear your biased thoughts and opinions. Do people care?
Is this stifling some people's expressiveness, creativity, and blurring the lines between character and character owner, especially for some people who's pages don't reflect them as a user but as the character in a roleplaying concept sort of way? Or do you think this will actually stop harassment and criminal activity on FA and help better the community?
Please let me know below.
As a latino-american, I don't support the alt-right or white nationalism in any way, but I also don't support ANTIFA, a group who was labeled by the Department of Homeland Security as domestic terrorists. A friend of mine, who is staff at Berkley, constantly sends me pictures of criminal acts preformed by members of ANTIFA including and not limited to assault, arson, property destruction, and public menace. I think if you disallow some hate groups and domestic terrorism groups on FA you should get rid of all of them. I applaud FA for taking the first step into trying to push extremists out of our community, but I feel they could widen their umbrella a bit to include other hate groups and extremist groups, including Proud Boys and other white extremist groups, black extremist groups, and domestic terrorist groups. Making the argument that 'every activist group is going to harbor some number of extremists within its ranks' is the same excuse used by white nationalist groups. Like the furry fandom, you either cull the worst members of your community, or you have to answer for them.

Also, feel free to drop your references here, along with ideas, or just ideas for solo pics of Maxx and I'll tackle them as I enjoy them.
If you want to go halfsies on the art out of guilt, I don't mind that either, just mention it in your note. It might move it up the priority, depending.
Additionally, if you have an artist in mind, leave that info too! someone explain floraverse to me like im 5 years old
