Spyro and Cynder for smash
General | Posted 5 years agoI've wanted spyro (and cynder) for smash for a while.. hell i've made a moveset..tell me if its good
first off... gimmick. spyro and cynder, like in the LOS game, have the ability to control 4 elements. spyro is fire, frost, earth, and lightning. either he can change what he can use with the taunt buttons (up for fire, left for frost, down for earth, and right for lightning) or by sheilding and ...something... if we go for taunt buttons, you can shield to taunt if you want. cynder's elements is poison, fear, wind, and shadow. they do have mana so either hitting enemies or hitting a certain rock summoned by down B will help raise this. they also can glide, holding up will have their fall speed decreased to a set amount.... until 2 seconds are up and they slowly speed up their decent.

Fire: multi-hitting
Frost: freezes enemies above 80-90%. i dunno whats too op.
Earth: launches foes
Lightning: weaker multi-hitting, but usually hits more, and launches foes, not as much as earth
Jab: https://youtu.be/CDX2D0aI63I?t=354 A triple jab that starts with a headbutt, then a low right to high left head swing, then a final launching tail swing. this leads into a rapid jab of fire if your in fire mode.
Dash: a powerful charge attack, able to launch you off the ledge if your not careful as he doesn't really stop at those. if you run into an enemy, you get stunned like in the LOS game, this also happens with shields, but keep in mind the shield will take a bunch of damage
Forward tilt (Uproot): an attack that launches foes up. like in the original, this does unbury opponents, and foes that were buried and hit by this move will be launched a fixedd distance, able to be hit by a combo attack.
Up tilt: swings his head from back to front, unleashing the selected element above spyro. if you don't have any mana, he uses his horns, which has a sweet spot
Down tilt: simple inovated tail sweep attack. able to trip foes.
Forward smash: an immensely powerful attack that unleashes an elemental burst of power
Up smash (Draconic Time) : surrounds spyro in a time orb, able to damage enemies as long as its out. sure it doesn't do much damage and doesn't make foes flinch, but the built up energy will be immense... still not making foes even flinch but its good to use when a foe is dazed.
Down smash: Spyro unleashes his elemental attack, Fire causes fire to spread from the ground, frost summons ice spikes, earth emits a shockwave, not dealing damage but tripping foes hit by it. (he does jump and foes can be buried by this if they are under it for some reason). (also maybe he swings the earth orb but i dunno) and lightning summons multi-hitting columns of lightning on both sides (half the height of palutena's light pillar)

Back air: an elemental burst from behind
Down air: Fire causes a fireball to be shot down, frost causes a icicle to slowly fall down, earth causes spyro to plummet down, lightning causes a line of lightning to be shot down for a while
neutral special: while holding down the b button, you can move, turn, and do a single jump like in the original
Fire: causes a jet of fire, like bowser's fire, to come out of his mouth. like boswers, the longer you hold it, the weaker it gets.
Frost: charges an orb of ice to grow from his mouth, once launched, it will arc and cause enemies above 70% to be frozen for a while
Earth: summons an orb of earth energy that will push enemies away once activated (NO its not spamable like in the orignal game, although i liked that). if you turn, you'll swing the orb overhead and slam it into the ground, causing a slight shockwave
Lightning: summon a lightning orb that when launched, will bounce around. it can shock enemies if the orb gets close to them
Side special.
Fire (Frying dash) sends spyro instantly forward, you can tilt this at least 30 degrees up or down to make it either a recovery or just to slam into an enemy.
Frost (ice tail): a sharp blade of ice forms from his tail. it covers around him.
Earth (Rubble rush): an innovate attack: spyro dashes forward with the earth orb and launches foes in the way.
Lightning (Shock warp) a fox like side special that he charges up and instantaniously warps to his destonation, emitting an aura of electricity where he ends up at...
Up special:
Fire (Wings of (fire dragon name i have no clue)): ignite your wings on fire and launch up leaving a burning trail behind you that lingers for a bit
Frost (Wings of (frost dragon name): cause an aura of cold to envelope you as you fly up, leaving a chilling slightly slowing mist behind you
Earth(Lunge of (earth dragon)): forget the wings, you yeet yourself up with the orb, and come crashing down after a set distance.
Lightning(Wings of voltture?) charge up eleectricity and teleport to a set area, causing an aura of electricity to be emitted from his destination
manaless (Accend): a short accend with an automatic glide
Down special: Rock summon
summons 1 of 4 rocks
80%:mana rock, replenishes your mana by a bit
10% life rock, heals you for 5-10% of damage
7% Power rock, lets you deal extra damage with your elemental attacks
3% fusion rock, does all
grab: Charge at them with your horns and lock them in. first grab to have you charge at the enemies (BOI IF YOU DON'T COME TO ME I COME TO YOU!!)
Up throw: yeet them into the sky with your horns (spyro isn't that good at flying in ANY of his games so.. a flying throw aint that good...)
forward throw: rapid earth orb pummel, not dealing as much damage as the original game
down throw: uses the selected element to harm them
Back throw: FUCKING SUPLEX!!!
Final smash
Close: Transforms into dark spyro and begins WAILING on the poor soul before launching them at a diagonal downward's angle
(the triangle dark spyro move)
Far: Transforms into dark spyro and charges a thin lazer and blasts the enemy, its thin so you gotta be precise and accurate.. and far.

get a bowser. the bowser must be tanky as all hell and VERY difficult to launch. (and i mean like survive marth's final smash tough)
(1-6) pichus (or jigglypuffs) in a team together. make them VERY easy to launch
turn team attack on.
set launch rate to .5
turn on mega, metal, and bunny hood upgrades if you want.
turn on handicaps and set all the pichus/jigglies to the max handicap.
go to any stage (preferably wario ware, palutena's temple, or mainly great cave offensive.)
turn on special flags, sandbags, and boxes
rules: YOU MUST SHARESTOCK IF YOUR OUT!. this includes the bowser sheild.
