FUN with BOOB jiggle :)
General | Posted 18 years agoit's amazing what you see when you are looking for referance on that subject.
I've seen everything from silicone clangers to natural floppers; So when I animated my 3D girl I based her run on some of the more funnier boob runs that I saw.
my next girl will have a more natural run (yet still bouncy).
I HAVE WAY TOO MUCH FUN!

making RPGs with DirectX
General | Posted 18 years agoI got this cool book called "making RPGs with DirectX" by Jim Adams.
this book gives you everything you need to make a RPG from scratch (even source code!) and other than the cost of the book (around 70$ CAN) there are no licensing fees or royalties to pay. IT'S COMPLEATLY FREE!!!
people who know me, know for a fact that I am NO programmer but with this book and the way it is written, even a "knuckle dragging" caveman like me can make a game in no time. I have 2 already in the beguinning stages ha ha!
I seriouslt recommend this book to anyone who has always wanted to make a game but never knew where to get started and especially to those who went through the same course I went to (IADT).
GET THIS BOOK YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

game job nibble
General | Posted 18 years agoI recently got an offer from a company, to work as a junior (low poly) modeler.
unfortunitly they wanted a "cartoony" character and I gave them a more "realistic" (yet lowpoly) version.
I hope they give me a second chance.

"Busty furries" how big is too big?
General | Posted 19 years agoI love busty toons as much as anyone but "in my opinion", if they're bouncing off their knees or resting on their feet...
It's time to go a size down!
what do you think?

are "dwarves" allowed on FA?
General | Posted 19 years agoI have this cool dwarf model and would like to show it off here but I don't know if dwarves are allowed because they look to much like humans.
My next 3D projects
General | Posted 19 years agoin the weeks to come I'm gonna be working on models based on celebrities.
It's to showcase my talents and also to help me improve my modeling skills.
who do you think would be a good "Celeb" for me to model/
(models will be heads only)

What I did on my week off.
General | Posted 19 years agoI'm taking this "Game design" program in Toronto.
Once every 5 weeks we have "mid-terms" when we're given a whole week to get them done and handed in on Friday; during that time we have NO school!
My fellow student condemn me for not doing ALL of the mid term assignments (like they are) and only doing the ones that take place the following week.
They think I've been doing nothing, ALL week.
They think I've been sitting on my butt eating Cheeto's.
Oh if they only knew, that for the past few months I've been working on my own game (using FREEWARE software) and have just made a major breakthrough that will allow me to complete my game alot sooner than I had thought; and hopefully will either land me a job at a company or land me a publishing contract (I don't care which).
That's the differance between them and me.
They work on something that will get them a grade.
I work on something that will get me a job!

Growing up as an artist...
General | Posted 19 years agoFor me, living in a small, "closed-minded" town; Growing up as an artist was hard.
during the 80's and early 90's the ignorance level was very high and wrongly "classifying" someone was at an all time high; Especially in the schools.
Art was one of may ways used to pigeon-holing students.
for instance...
if you were a young boy and you wanted to be an cartoonist as opposed to a "traditional" artist, you were pretty much classified as a "loser to be".
The way the would judge you based on your work was worse.
If you were a young boy and you drew...
superheros (mainly men), you were GAY.
girls (any kind), you were a PERVERT.
monsters, you were DISTURBED.
and if you drew cute things (bunnies, kittens, etc) you were "SPECIAL".
If this seems familiar to anyone out there I sympathize with you;
And I hope and prey the youth of today won't be going through that crap!

crappy anime series finales! why do they mak'em?
General | Posted 19 years agoDon't you just hate it, when you get into one of these anime series that you really like and when it comes to an end the last episode is total sh*t.
either it's "open ended" for no reason (Ai_Yori_Aoshi)
or its completely "out of left field" (Mahoromatic)
or leaves you hanging (to numerous to mention).
why can't they do it like they do over here...
cancel production (without telling anyone) bombard us with endless reruns and keep promising new episodes that will never EVER come (clone high, undergrads and stripperella).
