This is an update on my current self, I'm currently running and operating a small farm owned by my parents. Its hard work but its calming and frankly, quite enjoyable. As of Now I care for 97 Goats, 62 Pigs, 108 chickens, 22 turkeys, and 31 ducks. Its a lot of mouths to feed so all discretionary income I make goes to feeding and caring for these animals.

Finishing up on fencing the perimeter of the property and working on a rotational pasture feeding program to reduce feed costs and worming medicine. The idea is by moving them from one pasture to another each week means they only eat the tops of the pasture and never get low enough to pick up parasites and the parasites in their bodies don't get a chance to be introduced back into their systems. Over all this is only for the goats.

The pigs are another story, I have a breeding pair of American Guinea Hogs with a 6% Crossover, this is good since the national average is 24%. They've already made seven piglets and they are all currently for sale, The other pigs and piglets are also for sale, albeit they are not purebred they are still mostly Guinea Hogs mixed with Red waddle and Kuni-Kuni.

Chickens, turkeys, and ducks are also for sale. Chickens are a variety of breeds, and the Muscovy ducks are becoming more of a nuisance since the pond has dried up. some of the money from selling the ducks will be used to excavate the pond so that it can be properly sealed so that it won't dry up.

I find myself sitting in the same place I always have, on the couch staring at the celling. Thinking, just thinking. Sometimes its about relevant things and other times its about random and strange thoughts.

I had one of these thoughts but a few moments ago and it has been made clear to me that I need to get serious about the directions I'm taking in my life.

Time to get some shit done.

I'm no longer getting grant money for school.
I have no income, this is why I'm going to school.
I have no way to pay the school what it wants.
on top of that I only have $40.00 to my name which will only get me a weeks worth of gas.

No school means no job, no job means no money, no money means I default on my student loans.

All I want is a job.

What can I do?

I find myself once again contemplating my existence and generally my life. No job or desire to get one. No ambition to do anything other than what I'm doing now. I feel like I'm trapped in a cage with no bars. Freedom and opportunity within my grasp but I am afraid to seize them. I'm afraid of failure, afraid of change, afraid that my entire existence is without meaning or purpose. I'm afraid of getting hurt. Wether its physical or emotional. But more than anything else. I'm afraid of being alone. No one to help me make the right decisions, no one to remind me of my duties, no one to hold when I need the strength to continue.

I fear loneliness.
But I also fear change.

Well FA I have new art but no scanner so I'm just gonna post a journal.

First off I recently moved, its about 15 miles from my old home. Some negative things are that its smaller and the walls are real thin. On the positive side I get to have my computer in my room and we're really close to a bunch of places.

Secondly, I recently Acquired Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. Its unbelievably fun, I'm a Breton with a Warhammer of frost! and I've got bitchin' Dwarven armor. Taken down them dragons is tough but Its my job as Dovakin!

Thirds, I recently stressed my leg and my knee is all "AGGGGUUUUGHHHH!!" So I'm gonna put a brace on it and not bend it for a while, see if that makes it better.

I read something a few minutes ago and it struck a chord so now I'm posting about what I think.

I am 21 going on 22, My whole life up to this point has been filled with challenges and trepidation. As if I was walking barefoot and the path made from broken glass. So far I haven't been able to hold a job for very long, and what I do manage to get isn't enough to live off of. I still try, every day till I get the job I need. I need its stability but I also need its flexibility.

I'm talking about welding, and so far its the only thing in this world that has given me meaning. Its simple and fulfilling. If I can get a job welding, even as an apprentice, I would be so happy. Then I could start putting money away for a car, a home and possibly a family. to not have a future not filled with money troubles and debt. I want to be free from those concerns so I can focus on what really matters.

I'm fucking sick of a lot of shit. So I'm going to list off the things that aggravate me to see if I feel better.

For a large part of my life people have always told me to speak up when I don't understand something. However when that is applied in real world terms, it seems to give me nothing but sorrow and grief. when I tell people I don't understand they look at me as if I have offended them.

I don't understand where I went wrong. I don't understand what I did that upset you. I don't understand...

I fear that this simple inability to understand will cause me to live a life of loneliness and heartache.

I don't pick up on a lot of things, even something so obvious as the ever so popular "elephant in the room" and it upsets me that I miss so much, but it upsets me more when what I miss hurts someone.

Okay so as of late A lot of things have been happening around me and I decided to share them with you.

We're moving into a new house and just recently we painted it. Soon we're going to put in the flooring and furniture. Its going to take me a while to get used to driving around there but from what I've seen of the new house. I can almost guarantee that my computer will get set up into my room. Its smaller but that just means less to clean.

I'm going to get some paperwork finished and after thats done I'll have people helping me find some work. If I can get enough money I'll buy a welder and A truck of my own to haul it around in and I'll have a mobile unit I can take anyplace there is work.

Possibly moving myself to either further north to work on pipelines or further south to work on oil rigs. Of course that won't matter if I can get into the Navy. (6 lbs down, 29 lbs to go) lot of things in life are changing and hopefully for the better.

I'm sad that I'm alone and I'm jealous of my ex that she founds someone new even though I want her back. Its just that since shes been gone nothing feels "right" anymore. I find myself staring at the celling thinking that I'm gonna wake up from some lame ass dream but then I realize that I'm already awake. It just plain sucks, I feel like that guy in that Poison song "Every rose has its thorns", like almost exactly. I feel hollow and void of anything. Everything I do is a measly distraction, and things that I used to do for fun don't bring me any pleasure anymore.

I guess I'll be posting journals more often.

I have a lot of things to talk about but only a limited capacity to explain what I'm talking about.

So I'll start with what is prevalent on my mind. My lack of a job and my inability to lose weight.

resume after resume, application after application, call after call. No success in any area I apply, yet I keep sending them out in hopes that one will answer back. good thing is there is a job fair coming up and there might be a possible opening for me. If all else fails I'm going into the Navy. Now The problem with that I am overweight by 35lbs I need to lose it in order to get into basic training. However no matter how much I diet and excersize, I have yet to shed a single ounce. In fact I've been gaining weight and that pisses me right the fuck off.

I know if I persevere I will see results but its so disheartening to be working this hard and have the people closest to you(by proximity) call you a lazy fuck, who will never amount to anything and will never get a job. I'll prove them wrong and shove all the shit they forced on me down their throats and see how they like it.

Occasionally I entertain the thought of becoming a cannibal literally feeding on those who figuratively feed on others. Either that or a vigilante, bringing street justice to those drug lords and warmongers.

All in all I just want things to change and if no one is going to do anything about it then I will, and I promise you that I will not show any mercy. And I will spare no one from my wrath.

Well its the new year of 2011, I've made my resolutions and then I drank a 40oz of Spiked lemonade. I was upstairs when the ball dropped so I didn't get a chance to be there when the moment arrived.

None the less I've managed to procure a very nice job. On the plus side it requires a minimum amount of labor and they will pay large quantities of money for my services. On the negatives its in the Arctic circle and I'm gonna be there for a 3 month period.

I hope to god I can last that long in the Arctic, otherwise you might see me in a couple thousand years as the ancient man exhibit.

A confession huh?

well this one was a bit tricky to figure out. But after a lot of thought I guess the biggest confession I have is that I have no confidence in my abilities and I have no idea what I want from life.

I thought that if I had a job it would come to me more clearly, but jobs came and went and I still feel as though I have no purpose.

I then thought that if I had a girlfriend that my life would become clear as crystal. but I have a girlfriend now, I love her with all my heart and would do anything for her. But I still feel as if I have no purpose.

I just want it to become clear to me. like wiping the fog of a mirror after a hot shower, but all I see is murky blackness.

Maybe someday I'll find a reason but for now I'm a little lost puppy looking for a home.
