$8 per 1000 words
Calculated before Patreon discounts and $20 deposit
RULES
Commissions are to be paid in full after work has been completed and the price calculated.
A $20 deposit shall be required to be submitted before work is to begin. This deposit shall be returned to the client if the commission is canceled under amiable conditions.
No commission shall be submitted to any gallery (DA, FA, AO3, Patreon) until payment is received in full.
Refusal of payment of the agreed upon price shall result in immediate cancellation, and the client shall be barred from viewing the work in question. Client's deposit shall not be returned under such circumstances.
Any attempt to steal commissioned works and/or pass off said work as their own shall result in an immediate block from the author's galleries, and the cancellation of all future projects, and the offending party shall be barred from ordering from the author again. Client's deposit shall not be returned under such circumstances.
The author reserves the right to suspend or cancel any commission for any reason, including no reason at all.

Here's how the process will work:
When you contact me, you must have an idea ready for me. I can work with you on making one, but I'm going to give preference to people who already have something figured out. Once we have agreed upon the idea, I will attempt to write a synopsis for it. This step is so that I know that the idea is doable. I have had some ideas given to me in the past, accepted them, and then when it came time to do the synopsis, I could not figure out a way to write it that was consistent, made sense, and with few or any plot holes. If a synopsis cannot be written, then the idea will be rejected (don't fret, this has only happened a couple of times). When a synopsis is written, I will submit it to you for approval, and once it is approved, I will ask for the $20 deposit. Once I have received that deposit, I will give you the Google Docs link for your fic with comment privileges. You will be able to watch me write in real time, and comment on my work directly in the document. Once the story is complete and approved, I will tally up the price and send you the invoice. Once I have received payment, the fic will be posted to Patreon for early access (WIPs and, if any, exclusive versions will also be posted there as well. You as the client will have access to the exclusive version of the fic for no extra charge for your personal viewing only).

February Commissions Open and Announcements
General | Posted 3 years agoHi all! How's it going? Time for an MGM Update!
To start off, some personal baggage. I just started a new job! That's right! I'm not unemployed anymore (for now). I'm extremely excited about this position. It's a lot better than where I was before, with the only downside in the short term being the commute. It's an hour away from where I live, so in the coming months I'm gonna be looking for places to live closer to my workplace. But for the time being, the ol' Beetle's gonna get herself a workout! Ugh. Good thing she gets (somewhat) decent mileage, but I'm still gonna be filling the tank twice a week.
Also I'm broke! Flat out. Completely broke. Unemployment benefits are back to pre-Covid payouts, so my bank account is hemorrhaging money. This job could not have come soon enough because I just barely had enough for the rent yesterday, and that wasn't the only bill that needed paying. Ugh. First paycheck is next Friday, and I still have two weeks I can file for unemployment benefits, so at least the pain is over now.
But enough about the personal drama. Let's get down to brass tacks. I'm opening a limited number of commissions for this month. Two slots will be available. You can find the prices and rules in a separate journal that will be posted alongside this one. Slots will also be posted there too. I will not be opening any more slots! Private message me on Twitter, Discord, DA, FA, wherever with your ideas.
Final thing to mention is that Patreon is going to be changing just slightly. Early access will be extended. The first two fics I posted were only available for a couple of days early access, but as of now early access will be for one week. I'm still working out how best to integrate Patreon into my writing process, so please bear with me. I think this is how I should have done it from the beginning though.
A lot of you are probably wondering why I'm even bothering with Patreon. Well it's because I feel like it's a great way to help me grow as a writer. With Patreon, I can be very transparent about my writing process. I post my WIPs there regularly, and you can see them and give feedback on my writing. It helps me be a better writer, and it lets you contribute to my process. I've really enjoyed using it so far, and I'm planning out more exclusive content to put there. I haven't even mentioned that Squire and Knight-tier patrons get discounts on commissions.
Again if you're interested and like what I do, consider supporting me over there. It's not that expensive, and it helps out a ton with some great benefits. One week early access? Discord server? WIP posts? Exclusive content? Commission discounts? What's not to love, and it's a great way to help me keep doing what I love, and keep pumping out fics that you all love as well.
