In late October of 2024, I joined an art stream hosted by rukis and got to chatting with the other watchers. I mentioned that I dabble in writing, some of which might even pass for "furry", although I've never posted any of my work on this account. I had another account under my nom de plume, Kadrian Blackwolf, but it had so few views that I disabled the account.

Rukis does a lot of writing in addition to her art, and has a large fan base of people who actually like their furry fix in print. I told the other viewers on the stream that if they were interested in seeing what I write, I would upload some things if they liked. An hour or so later, this account had eight more watchers. I greatly appreciate their encouragement and my sincere thanks go out to them. They know who they are.

After getting distracted and dabbling around with other stuff for a month or so (I'm an ADHD kid and it shows) my attention finally drifted to a site with a few chatbots. They were interesting tools and fun to play with, but as far as actual prose, frankly, they suck. However, they did inspire me to poke at my old stories once again. I need to do some work on them before uploading anything; however, I should have something for you soon. I hope at least a few of my thousand or so previous watchers will enjoy the stories as well.

As to why I haven't been uploading anything the last few years, it's a matter of finances. My housemate and I both retired and our gross income is substantially smaller. With quality art running into the hundreds of dollars these days, we simply can't afford the great art that we once used to.

Yeah, I miss the days.
