I have grave news ...my dearest dog Corky has died on Halloween.....
she was one of the most beautiful dogs I had regardless of the fact that she stayed outside....
I know she died of old age, but I feel as if it's all my fault for some reason.
I was the only person in my family who cared about her when no one else did, even though they claimed they care about animals...

(short rant, might add more later)

Maybe I'm not afraid to be me after all...
It's just that this fandom has introduced me to things I'm not very used to...or at least wasn't very used to in the past...

Things like:
Coping with friends of different beliefs, national orientations, and sexual preferences...

Wondering if my art will be as good as others...

And hoping I don't get nervous around people in furry cons...

New things can be scary sometimes... I even had to think before I joined this fandom...but eventually I joined anyway. I even used to think that all the misconception targeted towards furries were true back then when I was a teenager. Maybe I'm not as closed minded as I thought...
