General | Posted 4 years agoI just wanted to let everyone know that I've joined Telegram.
My username is "Danger_N00dle"
For anyone who wish to add me, I should be easily recognizable, I have the same avatar and my Bio is a link to my FA profile
I'm still trying to figure out how Telegram works, I assume it's somewhat similar to discord or something?
I'd like to join some groups if that's possible, I heard a lot of people seems to like this place over discord.
I figured it was only a matter of time before I come on it.
See you there 👀👍

Needs some help - Blender
General | Posted 4 years agoHello good people.
I've been experimenting for quite some time in blender,
mostly with the Shrink-wrap modifier as a way to make better looking bulges for the preds.
But so far, I haven't got any good looking results.
I would love to have the Prey to be practically molded tight under the throat, but I can't seem to figure it out.
The throat always ends up deforming in a weird way I don't like.
I saw it being done occasionally, but I cannot seem to find any tutorial on it.
All the tutorials I find are about using Shrink-wrap as a mean to redo the topology of high poly models or doing clothes
Does anyone here has figured out the secret of amazing bulges?
I assume I've been doing it wrong the whole time.
So far I've only been using the cast modifier because it is the most consistent
However I can only give circular bulge. the other shapes don't seem to work too well.
here's a good reference for what I mean.

Thanks!

360° VR Test
General | Posted 4 years agoHey there
So I decided to test the 360° videos on youtube.
I've uploaded it about 10 hours ago and it is still processing, but whenever it it's done, you should be able to watch it in 4k
I've rendered it in Stereoscopic 3D so it should have proper VR support with depth and what not.
For non VR users, you can always move around using the mouse.

Need help for VRChat character
General | Posted 5 years agoHello good people!
My OC Mad Joe is finished
It is textured and rigged as well
For a quick look : https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41135101/
I would love to get him into VRChat so I can finally play as my Character
But I do not know how to port the model from blender to VR Chat.
I wouldn't mind paying it as a commission, however I do not have a lot of money left for this.
I also do not know how much work needs to be done on the character in order to optimize it for VR Chat PC users (and if possible Quests)
You can have the model for free here
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-b.....ew?usp=sharing

Looking for a good drawing Tablet
General | Posted 5 years agoHello everyone, a friend of mine is looking out for a good drawing tablet.
He's not exactly a furry but I figured there were many people here who had experience with various different brand and various different budget.
So first thing first.
What is the budget for the Tablet?
- Around $600-$1200
Requirements
- Must feel like drawing on paper, (Good amount of friction)
- Good quality screen with minimum delays
- Easy and simple to use ( Idiot proof )
- Easy to transport
- If possible no PC required (optional)
--> Good battery life
He works as a security guard and often have lots of down time.
So he need something he can use at work and move around with between shifts.
he doesn't necessarily have access to a PC at all time, hence if possible no PC needed to draw (saving the drawings on a SD card or something)
Thank you!

Blender Rigging made Easy
General | Posted 5 years agoIan Hubert released a new Lazy Tutorial video and I thought it was too good not to share
I figured many people here don't quite know how to rig models (including me)
I might give this a try in the coming days/weeks.

VR Chat
General | Posted 5 years agoHello good people!
I finally got my VR setup ready, I played with it for the last few weeks making sure everything works fine and it seems to be alright.
I've been playing VR Chat lately and I felt like we could hangout over there every now and then.
You can always add me to your Friend if you want. My name is Danger_N00dle.
I've commissioned someone over on Twitter to create my Avatar, it will be my Mad Joe Character.
I'll post the results here whenever that's finished.

Protogen models?
General | Posted 5 years agoHello good people.
I was curious if any of you know where I can get a good 3D model of a Protogen?
I'm not sure why but I'm starting to really like these characters and I see them from time to time over on VR Chat.
Both SFW/NSFW would be fine with me, although, I have a preference for Female when it comes to NSFW 👀
Thanks!

Looking for resources [Substance Painter]
General | Posted 5 years agoHello good people
I want to get better and practice my skills at texturing stuff in Substance Painter, but I fear most of the stuff that comes with the software is designed around Hard surface modelling.
I would love to know if anyone here can share with me either Smart Materials or Masks that can be used for creating characters.
I'm looking for things designed for Scaly creatures, so all type of scales and bumps etc...
I'm also open for custom brushes that can be very handy for painting characters.
Heck, if you know a good website offering those for cheap (or even free) I would gladly look it up.
Otherwise I'd likely have to draw each scales by hand or something, that seems tedious at best.
Thank you all.
I feel like my biggest limitation in 3D at the moment is Texturing.
So I want to work on it.

Voretober
General | Posted 5 years agoHello good people.
I wanted to make a few scenes for Voretober and I was curious about your ideas.
here's the current posts with all the Day themes https://www.furaffinity.net/view/38006096/
Given how I have a full time job, I rather not make some big intricate scenes.
I would appreciate ideas that use assets I already have to save time.
The best would be a scenes that doesn't take much more than 2-4 hours to make and render
I will note your ideas and possibly make them happen.

About Patreon / Ko-Fi / SubscribeStar / Whatever
General | Posted 5 years agoHello good people,
TL;DR
- I'm considering Patreon/SubscribeStar/etc... as a mean to finance the hobby without locking my stuff behind a paywall
=================
I said multiple times how I don't want to make a Patreon, but in reality it's more complicated than that.
There are many overlaying factors and I'm not quite decided on the topic of a subscription service
[Pros]
I could afford the following:
- Custom assets
- Paid Plugins
- Software license
- Render farms
This will also lead to a great increase in the quality of my work as I will be able to focus more on my animations than all the assets and background work.
[Cons]
- I want to keep this as a hobby, Money usually invite expectation and this can stress me out.
- I am inconsistent, I don't follow any sort of schedule, my workflow is entirely dependent on my mood.
- I want to keep all my animations and render completely free for everyone.
- keeping my animations for free severely reduces incentive for people to donate.
So over the last few weeks I thought about a potential solution.
My ideas right now for the Reward system are as follow:
- Credits ( end of video )
- Polls ( maybe once a month or something )
- 3D project file ( could be background, entire animations or even experimental stuff )
Unfortunately, I may not be able to share every 3D scenes, All the characters I've used in my animations were done by other people.
I don't think I have the permissions to share their assets. So I will have to work around that issue.
Right now there's nothing official, I need to look more into it.
I would love to hear your opinion
Thank you!

Looking for help (blender)
General | Posted 5 years agoHello good people,
I'm currently testing some stuff in Blender and somehow I just can't figure it out.
In case some of you didn't see, I'm working on a little animation
Preview here : https://www.furaffinity.net/view/37878972/
I want to make it so when the Dragon lick the guy, his skin and clothes look wet,
At the moment, for simple pose renders I just use a solid mesh and I tweak the shader, but that just cannot be done in animation, it would look weird.
My idea was to use the Dynamic paint, then bake it into an image sequence which will be applied on the texture of the character in order to change the colour and the roughness to give it a wet appearance.
But then I hit a little wall.
The character is designed in multiple UVs/Textures, The arms, legs, Face and Torso are a different set of textures
I cannot seem to find a way to select which texture I want the dynamic paint to bake the "wetmap"
So I'm stuck with only 1 of them and that's annoying.
Thank you!

General | Posted 5 years agoHello beautiful people!
I wanted to make this little FAQ because I tend to get quite a few questions.
I also wanted to use this opportunity to introduce myself a little bit more.
Not really, I am not a consistant person when it comes to work.
My work essentially depends on my mood and I work the best when I'm highly motivated and inspired.
I want to keep it as a hobby, meaning I want to work on my own conditions.
Unfortunately when it comes to commissions, it brings some sort of expectations and I fear it will just stress me out because I'll feel forced to work on something when I don't want to.
However, I do accept donations, I have a Ko-fi page for anyone who are willing to support me. It is completely optional and doesn't bring any perks
https://ko-fi.com/danger_n00dle
I don't use Patreon mostly due to their politics. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a reliable source for NSFW artists, I know a few who had issues with their content being restricted on that platform.
I also don't use Patreon because if I remember right, they require creators to prioritize their platform and offer perks to the Patrons.
As I have said previously, I wish to keep this as a hobby. I do not want to be forced to make or release content for money.
Right now my financial situation is alright, I do not mind having more, but I don't crave for it either. I make enough to pay my bills and that's good for me.
I started 3D animations around March 2020. I have tried to get into the 3D world for years, however, I have a wild case of ADHD
Long story short, if I cannot understand something within the first 2h of trying I just can't focus and abandon it.
This alone prevented me to do anything serious in 3D in the past, but I managed to overcome it this year and i'm quite happy.
As for my previous experiences, I have a couple of years of experience in CAD software such as Solidworks, Solid Edge, Autocad, etc....
I work in Mechanical Engineering. Unfortunately, the workflow is so different, I couldn't use that experience to my advantage.
There is 2 categories of things I want to avoid.
I have touched a bit on the first one, it consist mostly of other types of Fetish in which I have no interest nor get any satisfaction in general. It includes but not limited to:
- Scat or any post vore / "toilet humour" / Diapers
- Inflation or oversized characters
- Focus on male genitalia / Cum etc.... ( welp, I'm a straight dude, I'm just not into it )
- Overly exaggerated traits ( big boobs/ass, etc...)
- Anthropomorphic characters*
* (It really depends on the character design, There are some really good designs out there, I'm just not into those that looks way too close to humans)
The second categories of things I want to avoid is a bit complicated and may grow over time.
This is a categories of things that would "compete" too much with other artists.
I have a lot of respects for other artist, I do not wish to "steal" their followers by making similar kind of work as they are.
I will do my best to avoid making contents that is too similar.
Heck, I would even say theses artists are the reasons I'm doing 3D in the first place.
It is very important you understand I do not make any profits (nor do I ever intend to) of what I make. I do not depends directly or indirectly of my work in order to pay my bills.
Many of these artist depends in one way or another on a loyal groups of follower donating to their Patreon or other platforms,
If I start to making content too similar to theirs, they might lose revenues and I do not wish to be someone who jeopardize their source of living
I try to stay in contact with these artists whenever I can in order to know what they're working on. This way I can avoid making something similar.
Of course, some of my content may overlap theirs from time to time, but i do not believe it will be deal breaking.
When that happens, I want to make sure it is something old which has been public for a while.
I strongly believe you should give a look at the following artists, because they were (and still are) a great source of inspiration for me
-
Rayverak : [NSFW] Occasional vore, focus on mostly on AV and size difference
-
tasuric : [NSFW] Vore and sex animations, Focus mainly on Aquatic critters and a drake
-
animatic : [NSFW] Mostly feral sex animations
-
untiedverbeger : [NSFW] Almost exclusively vore, occasional UB and AV
-
whiteperson : [NSFW] Mostly vore poses
-
sprucethedeer : [NSFW] Mainly vore & AV animations / Poses
-
pwrof3d : [NSFW] Mostly vore & suggestive poses
-
ante : [SFW] Vore animations & poses
-
tlugia : [NSFW] Vore & poses, mostly focused around Pokémon
-
percytechnic : [NSFW] Mostly vore and AV, occasional animations
-
skaryudra : [NSFW] Mostly vore poses / animations

cakeinferno : Vore animations & poses
Welp.. that list was much bigger than I originally thought!
Hopefully I didn't forget anyone o.o
As you likely noticed, every artists I mentioned above are 3D artists.
I consider 2D to be a completely different world. I doubt I could even have an impact on 2D artists.
It's hard to say for sure, I don't really keep track of the time and I tend to have some unproductive phases, so It's hard to say for sure.
I would say, the average amount of time I spend on Animating is around 8-10 hours.
As of today, the most time I've spend working on an animation is around 35-40 hours, you can watch it here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36836117/
But out of all of that time, I would say over half of it was me trying to fix a bunch of issues related to a couple of bugs and freak outs that happened
Another large portion of that time was me looking up videos online and experimenting with things. Meaning I could likely have made the same animation within the 8-10h time frame
Yes, you don't even have to ask permissions.
Everything I make is into the public domain. You are allowed to do anything you want with it. I don't mind if you even make a profit out of it.
I know it's quite unusual, people tend to be protective of their work, but I don't. I consider everything I post online to be lost to the Aether.
I don't want to spend time and effort to track down people and issue copyright claims / strikes. So I just leave it for everyone to do as they please.
I do not watermark my work either because I just can't be bothered to do it. I tend to be quite minimalist and unorganized.
I do not require anyone to credit me, but it is always appreciated.
However, there are some exception to this, If I create someone's character, then I must follow their standard. it wouldn't be nice from me to go against someone's will.
If they do not want me to share the 3D model, then I won't.
I do plan to organize my work properly, right now it's a bit of a mess.
I plan to release every scenes I created publicly.
Though, given how many of the characters I use right now are private, I do not believe I can share them at the moment.
I do not tend to save my work either. I usually work in the same file and overwrite old projects. So I can't really share much at the moment.
My currents plans are as follow:
- Improving my animation workflow
- Improving my Modelling skills
- Improving my texturing skills
- Improving my rigging skills
- Making interactive animations (Flash or HTML)
I really want to rig characters properly in order to use them for future projects.
I would like to find someone to coach me if possible, it's much easier for me to learn something when I can talk to someone directly instead of watching tutorials online.
I also want to experiment with a new type of project I call them "Quickies"
They are little animations that I can create and render within a day.
The goal is to help me find ways to optimize my workflow to be more efficient.
Eventually I would also love to make entire background / Scenes for my animations.
I followed a few discussions on that subject and the idea I like the most is to create a large game-like map environment where I could just place character in one place.
Though, this is way above my current level.
Right now, All my modelling and animations are done in Blender, I do not plan to change this anytime soon.
I am considering buying Zbrush, but it is quite expensive and I want to make sure I absolutely need it for my projects.
As said, I do not profit of my work nor do I intend to. So I can't really make that money back.
I strongly support perpetual license, This is a big advantage of Zbrush. I cannot stand recurring payments
When it comes to texturing, I own both Substance Painter and Substance Designer.
They are an incredible tool and make my life so much easier
Yes, I have a Discord server, but I don't have Telegram. I'm starting to hear about it more frequently, I might look it up eventually.
Please, keep in mind, my discord server has no bots nor any moderator at the moment, it is mostly experimental. I have to manually approve everyone.
https://discord.gg/FfRb5Zq
That's about it,
Thank you very much for your time and support.
It means a lot to me.

As you likely noticed, every artists I mentioned above are 3D artists.
I consider 2D to be a completely different world. I doubt I could even have an impact on 2D artists.
How long do I work on my Animations?
Can people use/modify my work for "X"?Yes, you don't even have to ask permissions.
What are my plans for the future?
Which software do I use?Right now, All my modelling and animations are done in Blender, I do not plan to change this anytime soon.
Do I have a Discord / Telegram?Yes, I have a Discord server, but I don't have Telegram. I'm starting to hear about it more frequently, I might look it up eventually.
Please, keep in mind, my discord server has no bots nor any moderator at the moment, it is mostly experimental. I have to manually approve everyone.

That's about it,
Thank you very much for your time and support.
It means a lot to me.
Looking for models
General | Posted 5 years agohello there,
I'm looking for models to use as Prey for future animations
one I would love to have is a proper human for POV
(Of course, I'm always open for more preds.)
There's also some chance I might start doing more NSFW & LEWD stuff showing multiple characters as well.
I've already looked up about a dozen of 3D models collection website, though they tend to be for either a different software (Maya, 3DS Max, etc...) or they're way too expensive for me.
As some of you know already, I work in Blender.
I'm making this journal post because I thought maybe some of you good people have or know someone who has some interesting models and are willing to share it/them with me.
I do have a preference for Female or any unspecified genders (no genitals)
Thank you, I wish you a great day

Flash / HTML
General | Posted 5 years agoFor a few month I have been curious about making one of those interactive videos
I don't have any animations designed for it yet, but that shouldn't be too hard.
If there's anyone here who is willing to help me out, that'd be appreciated.
I'm always open to DM

Left for interpretation. Rant?
General | Posted 5 years agoHello,
I wanted to make this little post because I was asked a couple of time about my content if it's Soft/hard vore or digestion, gender whatever.
Personally, Instead of repeating it to everybody, I wanted to say it here.
Every details that aren't explicitly shown in my arts are left at the viewer's interpretation.
Personally, I do not have enough energy to care about the gender or the fate of the prey/pred.
you can imagine anything you want and I'm fine with it.
To me, Art is just a means of expressions and the viewers should be left to think whatever they want about it.
Perhaps it is just my nonchalant attitude toward life in general, but I'm completely unable to care about trivial issues that are "imaginary" or "fictional"
Especially when it comes to genders, In the end, it's just a bunch of pixel on a screen, nobody will be hurt if you want to "Misgender" some character for the sake of your own fantasy
I didn't really meant to "rant" but to me anyone who "enforce" a specific way to view their art is just plain weird.
I'm fine if they rather avoid long discussions of things they aren't into on their page, but there are ways to deal with it.
For instance, here's a list of things I'm not into, meaning I'm unlikely going to make or discuss such content:
- Scat
- Male genitalia (including vore, cum, etc...)
- Diapers
- Inflation
I'm not necessarily against it, I'm just not really interested by those.
There's nothing wrong with being "weird" btw, I'm no saint myself, just take a look at my Fav list. You'll see really dang quickly I'm a freak.
That concludes what I had on my mind so far.
Thank you for your time and attention. I wish you all a great time.

I'm on Youtube now
General | Posted 5 years agoI decided to create a Youtube account where I will share my SFW animations or any random video projects which might not fit either here or on E621
I plan to upload my WIP animations there.

Discord?
General | Posted 5 years agoWould anyone here be interested in a Discord server?
It would be a place we can share both SFW and NSFW stuff and ofc course
it is where I will post most of my progress on WIP projects.
Possibly more as well, it really depends if you guys are interested
In the meantime, here's my discord info Danger N00dle#1004
My DMs are always open
[EDIT]
I have created a server as a test, you can join here: https://discord.gg/FfRb5Zq

Back to work
General | Posted 5 years agoJust a little update,
I'm back working full time at my job and in a different position
I used to have a pretty chill desk Job, now I'm working in the shop and it's quite physically intensive
So when I'm back home I'm just tired and exhausted.
Progress on animation or side projects will be on hold or just very slow for the time I get used to it

Open to Trades
General | Posted 5 years agoI've been practicing a bit now and I'm open to the idea of trades
i'm going to be very selective because I can only work based on my Mood.
but If I like the stuff you create and you like mine, just send me a Note and we'll talk about it.
I can make essentially any kind of short animations (up to 10-15 seconds) and of course render it in High quality (1080p) at minimum

Streaming?
General | Posted 5 years agoHello
I'm just wondering if there is any sort of interest.
I thought about it for about a week or 2 and I'm still undecided.
Would anyone here be interested to watch me stream myself work on the animations?
Please comment below

General | Posted 5 years agoI wanted to let everyone know that I have created a Ko-fi page
https://ko-fi.com/danger_n00dle
I also wanted to let everyone know all the stuff I make will be free and under no condition would I set up a paywall.
It is a hobby for me, not a job. I do things because I want to not because I feel obligated to do so.
Any money raised using the Ko-fi page will be spend to help me financially, any extra money will be spent to help me with my 3D modelling/Animating hobby
Of course, this is all optional, I should be able to get by on my own like I always did.

Pseudo Quarantine
General | Posted 6 years agoWell... Well...
It appears the spread of the virus is affecting us as well, the Government has ordered the majority of non essential industries to close for the next couple of weeks
It means I'm out of jobs, but hey, I will have a lot of free time to play around in blender.
I also want to thank you all for the nice feedback I got over the last few weeks as I learned Blender.
I am still open for new models, I'm mostly looking for Feral creatures for the sake of Vore and potentially UB/AV animation
I plan to focus on POV as it's the kind of thing I like the most. Obviously POV won't be the only thing I make either.
I have been practicing with UV mapping and the basics of textures in Blender by playing around with some models.
I might decide to go the 3D modelling route as well.
If anyone has good reference for characters I could try to create, just let me know.
I'm still a novice of course. don't expect amazing looking things for a while

Looking for 3D models [Blender]
General | Posted 6 years agoHello,
I'm curious if anyone here knows where I can get some nice 3D models (Free of charge, I don't have money)
I want to start doing some quick animation as a hobby
Eventually I might even create my own.
If that happens, I will give them away
