Still not dead
General | Posted 6 years agoBut very much busy with writing. Problem (from this account's perspective anyway) is that my writing is so successful that I really don't have time to dedicate to my fetish stuff anymore. At least not for the time being. At some point I do hope to come back to it, but ... well, I just quit my job.
My house is paid off.
And I'm moving into an RV to chase the good weather while I - you guessed it - continue to advance my writing career.
I just figured I'd drop a note here. I know a lot of the journals y'all see are of the "Please help!" variety, and I just wanted to give y'all a little something different.
My life is amazing, and someday I'll find the time to come back here and do more inflation porn.
It is a fetish, after all. :P

Doing an interlude
General | Posted 7 years agoDone with Mask of the Template pending a cover, and I'm so sick of editing that and other work that I'm doing an interlude for Basra.
This is pretty much outside the storyline, though TECHNICALLY inside it ... you'll see what I mean when it's done. Probably have it finished and up by next Monday.

News
General | Posted 8 years agoI have an outline for Kyrie, but it's been on the back burner for a little while.
So what have I done with the last 3 months you may ask? Well aside from the life I normally lead (the one that isn't concerned with inflation fetish porn) I've been writing other things.
One of the reasons I figured I'd drop a note here is because I've finished the latest of those projects, give or take a ton of editing, and have begun to post it over on my other account because it isn't inflation stuff. It IS a bit pervy, so if you're into that I invite you to check it out.
Not sure if you'd be interested? Here's the working blurb:
Not all heroes go to heaven.
Victor Mack was born poor, grew up tough, and died hard. When he woke up in a sea cave with only the clothes on his back and a bullet scar, he didn't know where he was, but he knew it wasn't heaven.
On the run from people that walk upright but clearly aren't human, Victor's desperate attempts to stay alive lead him into the arms of a willowy dryad who tells him that his new life won't be any easier than his old one ... but it will at least involve women. Potentially lots of them, but there's a catch.
Known on Celestine as a template, Victor's humanity not only allows him to exchange power with anyone he sleeps with, his genes are key to the survival of the eldritch races of his new world. But the fiercely competitive eldritch don't typically leave their lovers alive long, and aren't accustomed to taking 'no' for an answer.
The average life expectancy of a template on Celestine? Three days.
Forced to rely on others for help, he sets out in a desperate bid to gather allies before one of the elder races finds him and ends his second chance at life. With a magical mask, the help of a lonely dryad and a mixed-up minotauress, and raw fortitude, he must be brave, cunning, and good with the ladies if he has any hope of living through the month.
All the while an ancient evil bent on the destruction of Celestine exists in the north, and its influence is spreading ...
Interested? You can find the first segment posted here I will be posting more here in a few days as my editing catches up. Do be sure and let me know if you like it! Pending a cover and a few other details, I plan to make this available on Zon, so now's your chance to get in a free read!

Sea of Tranquility or Sex, Death, and Money
General | Posted 8 years agoor something else entirely. I haven't quite decided on a title.
Going to do a bit of an experiment with the next segment of Kyrie's story. Now I know I've already said that the whole series is essentially an episodic experiment in inflation porn, but bear with me.
I'm thinking of making the next several posts less episodic and more story arcish. I'm thinking I can probably wrap it in 60K words or so. My idea, roughly, is to take Kyrie on a traditional 'hero's journey.' Just with porn and inflation.
Since I have essentially spent the last year dedicated to the proposition that I'm gonna break any promises I make with regard to a schedule, I just won't even throw one out this time. All I can say is that I'm working the outline for it now, and I've got about four thousand words of the first part written, which I am tweaking as I pencil in the highlights of the story.
Since I tend to run with the ideas I get, it's going to be a bit difficult to pull this off because this is what I do for fun, and I'm also trying to flesh out the outline for the next actual novel I'm writing and work on IT. This is why I want to pretty much hard code an outline for myself, so that I don't forget where the hell I was going with this in between pieces. I already know where the WHOLE DAMN THING is going, but that's way way off yet. (I deliberately gave myself lots of room to play). As for this arc, it will be both self-contained and move the whole mess forward. Almost as though I were a real author trying to practice his craft. I know, crazy right?
So we'll see what I come up with.

PDF hell
General | Posted 8 years agoSo the next Basra piece is up, and I'm looking at all those old submissions.
They're pdf's. At the time I posted the logic was that I didn't want people copy pasting my work somewhere else and claiming credit.
NOW I'm wondering why the hell anyone would ever even THINK of doing that. Plagiarizing inflation porn? FURRY inflation porn? REALLY? Who does that?? How fucking SAD would that be?
So I'm pretty sure I need to go back and turn those pdf's into text files of the same type as the kind I'm posting now. That's a buttload of work. I'll have to go through each file, do another round of edits (cause let's face it, I'm better at it now than I was then) and do a whole host of things that FA needs me to do to make the damn thing readable.
Ugh.
Not looking forward to it. I think what I'll probably do is update one old piece after each new post. Working on the Emir's Fantasy right now in fact.
Next section will be Kyrie. Truth to tell probably the next two or three will be Kyrie, because her plot is lagging behind a bit.
Edit: Part 1 Updated!
Part 2 Updated!

Next Basra piece
General | Posted 8 years agoPretty much done.
So yeah, start to finish in one day at just over 8k words. Not bad.
Right now though, I'm pretty drunk, truth to tell. I need to let this sit for a day or so, come back when I'm sober and give it a once over before I post.
FAIR WARNING!
The inflation in the next piece is pretty tame. It's a plot piece, but it moves things forward quite a bit. I don't want to give too much away. For those of you following Basra's plotline, this next piece is fairly important.

Not dead!
General | Posted 8 years agoJust busy!
So by now those of you who were led on by promises that I'd update this once a month have probably dropped me down a memory hole somewhere, and I can hardly blame you.
I've been working on other projects, and doing porn is sort of a niche thing for me, particularly fetish porn. But I do love me some good inflation porn, and having finished and put my latest draft into alpha read, I was sitting at the cigar shop today feeling a bit randy, so I finished off one of the pieces that's been kicking around in my to do list for longer than I care to admit.
Hope everyone had a good holiday, and who knows, it's not over yet. I might have it in me to do the next Basra bit before work picks up again and crushes me after the new year.
TTFN!

General | Posted 8 years agoFinally...
Finally...
General | Posted 8 years agofinished the book I've been working on these past several months. Going to see about catching up here.
No story for January, FML
General | Posted 9 years agoI am so, so sorry.
I made a promise back in... October I think? To turn out one of these a month. In January I will not be able to deliver. To make a long story VERY (relatively) short, I finished the book I've been working on, turned it over to my beta readers, and...
...got tore, the fuck, UP.
So I have been frantically writing a NEW book, same world but most other things have been redesigned and revamped. Google the phrase, "Kill your darlings." Right below the references to the 2013 movie of that name will be a reference to writing advice.
My picture will one day grace any article on killing your darlings, because I put 120K words in the bin. It hurt. A LOT. I didn't just kill my darlings, I fed them feet first, screaming all the way, into a hand-crank sausage-making meat-grinder. Mmmm... tasty sausage. (I actually prefer brautwurst.)
But the finished product will be better, and in the end, that's all that matters. You only get one shot at launching a series, and I'm not going to miss mine because the book was a misfire.
So I have to write a new 'first' book. This is why I haven't had time to put out a Kyrie piece this month. When I finish this book, I will "catch up" as it were, with as many chapters as I need to in order for the count to be correct. I may not get this one done on time, but I'm not going to skip.
Amen.

Next Kyrie Piece
General | Posted 9 years agoWill be out either this evening or, more likely, tomorrow. Took me a while to get this one going because I'm working a different angle on it (which shall be readily evident when it's posted.
Took me a while as well to figure out a way to do the story the way it needed to be done while avoiding certain things I personally find distasteful, so we'll see if the readers agree soon.

I will assume
General | Posted 9 years agothat the new format is better than the old format, just given the time frame vis the number of people who have seen the page.
I will probably go back over my old stuff and reformat it for easier reading. Not sure when I'll get to that, but I will do it as time allows.
Started work on the second book in the series I'm writing. I need to get three completed before I can actually publish due to the launch schedule I've chosen to follow. So far so good.
Other than that, I'm spending some spare time thinking about how to theme the next bit piece for Kyrie. Any ideas on subject matter will be taken under advisement, though I will say in advance that this is a release for me, not a task I force myself to, so I won't be doing anything I can't get into personally.
Hope everyone is having good days and fulfilling nights.
Pleasant Dreams.

Tittles... titles... parody and porn
General | Posted 9 years agoI'm searching for a title for the next Kyrie episode.
I have found, pretty much by accident or evolution (same thing) that I like making the titles for these things both relevant to the piece itself and either a pun on or clever use of titles that exist elsewhere.
Since I like 80's music, I've been looking at song titles from that decade for inspiration, and come up with a few that I like:
Under Pressure
Addicted to Love
I Didn't Mean to Turn You On
Sweet Dreams (are made of this)
Simply Irresistible
(yes I have a smidge of a man crush on Robert Palmer)
She compromised my principles...
That kinda love is mythical....
She's ANYTHING but typical....
(you see where I get it)
Under pressure has too many connotations to bother with, and the others are useful in several contexts for inflation porn.
The next piece I want to do I want to essentially be fluff. Pure pleasure porn as it were. I haven't got a mechanic that I've settled on yet either, so I'm open to using a promising title to direct the action.
Puns are to be favored, and I'm sure even if I get NO help with this something will occur to me. Still, it's an opportunity for those of you who have ideas to air them out (or up) and who knows? You might inspire porn, so give me your suggestions for a title if you have them!
I'll be sticking with the future continuity for this next piece, so it will involve Basra and Kyle.

Kyrie 14 is finished
General | Posted 9 years agoI'm just letting it sit for a day or two so I can do an edit before posting. Sorry it's late, but the initial draft had way too many problems and I felt it was too boring, so I had to do a pretty much complete re-write. I'm still not entirely happy with it, but what artist is ever completely happy with anything they do?
It advances the plot, there's popping, and sex. So wheee. ;P
It'll be up in a day or two. See you then.

General | Posted 9 years agoJust about finished writing the next segment and will PROBABLY have it up before the end of the month.
Having to redo most of the piece because I found it wasn't topical enough and didn't even maintain MY interest.
That is all. :P

Back(ish)
General | Posted 9 years agoThe last few years have not been conducive to my writing aspirations, but this year has proven to be a whole different story.
I didn't stop writing Kyrie because I lost interest, but rather because the pace of life simply left me little time to focus on a fetish that is, quite frankly, a bit strange and very niche.
I still can't exactly say I'm going to focus on it in future, but since I've recently been writing a few bit pieces of smut for other reasons, I will probably review Kyrie and see about revisiting the world I was in the process of building.
Adventure, inflation, and an as yet unexplained bridge between the past and the future. There's so much material there to explore!

New piece
General | Posted 12 years agoWorking on another segment of Kyrie, though this time it's a continuation of the interlude portion of the story or rather, the second arc. I'm doing them both at the same time because my interests vary between the two ideas.
If anyone is still watching this account, the next piece will be done and posted sometime in the next few days. I'm finally settled and beginning to pick up the threads of life outside of work again and this is one that I've been looking forward to revitalizing.
Stay frosty.

Still alive
General | Posted 12 years agoThough clearly not writing Swoll style porn.
If I went into the details this would be a long post.
Suffice it to say I have not forgotten the story and do intend to pick it up again but until I can square away several aspects of my private life including but not limited to getting my weight under control, my job secured, and a ring on the finger of my woman, Kyrie will have to wait for those occasional urges of mine.

Update
General | Posted 13 years agoTime lately has been really dedicated to the comic I run under my main. My artist and I have been collaborating daily and most of my writing energy has been going into that project. Normally I'd still be able to write here because the types of writing between the two projects have been discrete, but my artist recently surprised me with the suggestion that we do porn on the side as a way to bring in some cash and so... well... yeah.
I will come back to Kyrie in a bit, once I get ahead of the workload for the comic, but we're ramping up, making a buffer for regular postings and generally flogging the donkey for all it's worth right now so it'll be a bit.
On a side note, I've found that it really helps to have a sexy playlist going whilst doing the porn, and here's a few of the tracks I've put together to write the nasty:
Baby Bash: Cyclone
Def Leopard: Pour Some Sugar on Me
Robyn: Indestructible
Inna: 10 Minutes
Alex Gaudino: I'm in Love (I Wanna Do It)
Joey Negro: Make a Move on Me
T-Pain: Apple Bottom Jeans
Andrea Banica: Samba
Eric Prydz: Call on Me
Skid Row: I Remember You
Hinder: Lips of an Angel
Whitesnake: Is This Love
Paula Abdul: Straight Up
Edward Maya: Stereo Love
Jay Sean: Ride It
Lou Bega: Icecream
Vengaboys: Boom Boom Boom

Going on vacation
General | Posted 14 years agoFor one blissful week, I get to leave this god-forsaken dust choked HOLE and go home. See the god-children. See family and friends. Drink a fcking BEER. (Actually, I'll probably do my level best to get drunk as soon as I touch down in Germany so I can sleep my way across the Atlantic.)
When I am on vacation I will probably spend some time on Kyrie, and when I come back I will probably spend some MORE time on Kyrie, along with a few other projects on my alternate account and elsewhere on the net.
Sorry I haven't been more productive, but quite honestly porn doesn't come easily to me. It's very difficult in fact for me to write, which is why I suppose it's not as polished as some of the other stuff I have read. Treating it a bit like a fight scene makes it slightly easier, but only slightly.
On a completely unrelated note... and it may be just me, but I have seen a LOT of journals around and about touting variations of the "Be yourself, don't let anyone tell you what to do," theme.
Allow me, if you will, to surprise you. Occasionally when you hear someone tell you that you're doing something stupid, or wrong, stop and check yourself. They might be right. As a matter of fact, they are OFTEN right. Don't believe me?
Think about this then: People read stories that interest them. Stories interest people because they are out of the ordinary by definition: if they were ordinary happenstance, they wouldn't be worth writing, much less reading. They'd be grandma's slideshow of her honeymoon to North Dakota circa 1937 in grainy black and white. OFTEN, stories are written about people who ignore the advice of their peers and parents and go on to do something incredible with their lives. What do these two facts suggest?
If you guessed: "Well, Swoll, I suppose that means stories of people breaking molds are interesting, aka unusual, aka the EXCEPTION that proves the general rule that most people who break the molds end up breaking themselves as well," you guessed right.
For every famous rapper there are a MILLION failed rappers upselling fries in poor rhyme. For every New York Times best-selling author there are a hundred thousand (let's face it, fewer people attempt to write for a living than rap) failed or struggling writers barely making rent if that on their chosen profession.
I am NOT a professional writer. My writing IS better than that cranked out by some professionals. I've always been good at it, and when I was a kid I wanted to be an author. When I was told early to check myself, I did so. I changed my major from english to engineering, then quit college entirely and joined the military (that was a bit impulsive... but 911 was not a time for the faint of heart and the wishy washy).
Most of what I have done for my entire life has been designed around securing my future and the future of a family, should I choose to have one (read: Find a woman who'd put up with me). I have NOT chased any of my dreams. My dreams are hobbies and vacation destinations... and sex. I dream about sex a helluva lot more often than I have it, much to my regret. :P
Long story short (too late I know) DON'T chase your dreams unless you have some extraordinary talents (GENUINE talent, not the kind imagined by doting parents) that lend themselves to the pursuit of your dreams. Instead, secure your future. If all your fantasies are about being a rich rapper (I use them alot because where I come from there are a LOT of failed rappers... and I hate rap) imagine being a rich businessman instead. Still rich, much easier to attain.
Don't let people convince you that you will somehow be made miserable if you don't do what you've always wanted to do for a living. It isn't true. I do something I'm fairly good at, but not anything I dreamed of doing when I was a kid. I looked at the industries available and chose this one for two reasons: Hardware and networking pay good money, and I can get a job practically anywhere in the world doing it.
I pursue my dreams in my spare time. I will be retired before I hit 50. I'm living large and I enjoy most of my life as much as I may complain. I've seen more of the world in 30 years than most do in a 100, and I'm not even half done. So the next time someone tells you to do a reality check, don't blow them off as though you're someone special.
You ain't. No one is. (Remember your Incredibles kids.)
Money is easy to come by. Here's the secret. Do something or learn something that people will pay to have done or known.
And my last piece of free advice is the BEST. My dad gave me this one when I was oh... six or seven. I'll never forget it as long as I live. He said to me, "Son, there's two ways to get paid in this life. You can get paid for what you do, or you can get paid for what you know. If you want to be rich, get paid for what you know."
Thanks Dad. I'll see the rest of you on the flip-side of my vacation!

I give up (temporarily)
General | Posted 14 years agoHere's my list of shit to do:
1-17 Feb: Crash diet + double load of cardio to lose that last 20 pounds.
1-13 Feb: studying for CCNP Route Test
13 Feb: CCNP Route test
All the fcking time from now until the 17th: 12 hour days on base + 1.5 hours of commute on 12 eggs a day + water/coffee/tea.
Here's my list of things that won't be happening between now and Feb. 17th:
Anything else.
Here's the body I'm working so hard to improve:

Here's how I feel about all of this:

Wish me luck. Kyrie is on the shelf for the moment... I can't help that: one has to have priorities. She won't STAY on the shelf though; rest assured. I've got a commission in the pipe that I'll share with y'all when it's finished involving Basra and Kyrie. I'm looking forward to it. So should you.

See, this is the problem with
General | Posted 14 years agodoing something that doesn't pay you... the things that DO pay you sort of take priority.
Right now my contract out here in Asia is wrapping in March and while I've got plenty of offers for a NEXT contract already coming up the groundwork required is taking up most of my time.
I look wistfully at the next portion of Kyrie and keep thinking "Okay TODAY I'll get the time to do that..." then some schmuck with a gold oak leaf on his lapel comes and tells me different.
Kyrie is not shelved... she's just patiently waiting her turn on my recently greatly expanded list of priorities. I'd list some of them, but that would just be me bitching and I try not to do that.
Will be around.

General | Posted 14 years agoNext bit is taking me a bit of time to work on.
My primary goal with the series was to play around with inflation. I've become more familiar with many aspects of inflation since I began (go team) and I've learned that while there are some things I'm into with regard to the fetish, some things I am most emphatically NOT into. I wonder as things progress how much of a limitation this will put on things. In the end I think not much.
What IS limiting to me was my second requirement of the story, which is to say it must be as genuine, which is to say without unnecessary or extravagant contrivance, as I can make it. Porn is NOT easy to write in a way that doesn't make it obvious that any given encounter could have been handled... differently. While I realize that a suspension of disbelief that goes somewhat beyond the normal requirement is par for the genre, I still labor under the perhaps delusional belief that people don't want to have that, "Oh now come ON... that's just BULLS$!7!!!" moment in the midst of their reading. Add to this I'm not writing in first person and not using a main character that has a sort of humorous, self-deprecating disbelief that all this is going on (which both of my primary influences use) and you run into difficulties galore.
So here I am, struggling to balance my natural tendency to put the story first with my stated goal of writing porn. I know where the story is going in broad strokes, it's just when it comes time to shade (to use graphic and probably misleading terms) that I tend to struggle. Fear not though, for those few of you who are sticking with me and waiting for the next segment; I've not pulled a vanishing act like I did last summer. Most of the next segment is completed; I just need to polish it a bit for posting.
Incidentally, if any of you porn connoisseurs out there have thoughts on this, feel free to let me know. Too much plot? Too little? Too much porn??? (somehow I doubt that.) Should I focus more on the fetish itself and less on the sex? Do let me know. While it won't influence the direction I'm taking the story, it may very well influence which scenes I choose to describe and how they work.
Your not quite diligent but gamely trying narrator,

Ugh...
General | Posted 14 years agoIt is a mark of how long I've been on the 'new' diet (9 out of 10 foods must have had parents before consumption) that having been off it for three whole meals AND skipped gym time today I'm now roughly an hour from bedtime and COMPLETELY WIRED.
Not partially wired. Not "just a bit too peppy" but REALLY spun up, with a short-circuit in there somewhere. And I can't go outside and run like I'd do at home because I'm really not keen on inhaling the air out here less than oh, ten miles from a veritable sea of refineries.... mmmm the taste of partially combusted natural gas and my personal favorite, HOT GARBAGE which despite the time of year and the relative coolness of the air in what is technically the morning is an oppressive presence near (thankfully not AT) my apartment.
Even the treadmill is broke downstairs, so I'm stuck doing calisthenics, which I can't do too many of because then I'll be hyperthermic for the next four hours and then I'll be unable to sleep, which spills over into tomorrow, which means I'll need to juice with Jakt3D to get in my workout... which will screw with me TOMORROW NIGHT... nyagh!
DO NOT leave your diet and blow off exercise... not only is it not good for you at a base level, but it'll fuck your calendar the next three days minimum.
Still those waffles were good.
Happy New Year!
