#WishfulWednesday (includes TLDR at bottom)
General | Posted 8 years agoGood Morning / Good Afternoon / Good Evening / Good Night.
Today, I've decided to start a #WishfulWednesday .
And my #WishfulWednesday, is that people will someday stop being ignorant and self-minded, and view every other human as that.
All humans are here for good, or bad reasons. It's that human's job to figure out it's purpose in life, not for you or anyone else to force your thoughts, ideas, or beliefs unto someone else so that they become like you.
Teach your children acceptance, kindness, and common courtesy.
Teach your children to be strong and stand up for themselves, but to also help others.
Teach your children that the amount of Melanin or lack thereof, does not define a person as a person.
But that one's personality and character traits dictate how others perceive you to be.
You don't have to be a Nikola Tesla, or a Steven Hawking, nor do you have to be a Professional Football Player or a Playboy Bunny to be noticed in this world.
You can just be you. Be who you are and do the best that you can do.
Never give up on life. No matter how tough times get.
Someone, somewhere... You might not even met each other yet...
But someone cares that you exist.
Gender Equality, LGBT Equality, and Women's Rights and BlackLivesMatter nor BlueLivesMatter...
None of those things should even be a "trending topic."
Because every single group of these people, are human beings.
We are an amazing creation of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, upbringings, lifestyles, and cultural beliefs.
Sure, humanity will always have it's good and evil. As a balanced world should.
But there needs to be a point in time when humanity stops to reflect on the fact that every living thing on this planet we call Earth/Terra, has been the one home we've all shared in common since our creation.
This is why, if any of the "__LivesMatter" tags should ever be spread across the news and throughout the world,
it should be #MotherEarthMatters #HumanityMatters #LifeMatters

"Treat people with the kindness that you desire in return, and protect those unable to protect themselves. Be wise, be kind, and love another not for the colour of their flesh, but for their personality, their creativity, their unique personality that no other person can call their own.,"

General | Posted 9 years ago I'll be opening a "Recycled Fashon Shop/Service" where you send me your damaged/torn/stained clothing and I'll either find a way to fix it or make it into something new and ship it back to you when it's finished. Only thing I'd ask is for you to pay the shipping to me along with $5-$10 per piece you send for labour and my materials, as well as include a return label in the package with your information already filled out.
And to inform you where the $5-10 would be going towards, It would be added to a savings towards helping others in need whether it be towards someone paying their rent, bills, food, or medicine so they can survive.
*Reason for price change-- My dad a made a point that $2 was too cheap and wouldn't even cover the cost of my materials to use
I know a lot of people out there who take 4-5 trashbags full of clothes to the landfill just because they're torn or got a bleach stain on em and I just think about all the people who can't afford to even keep their homes or feed their families long less afford new clothes.
So I mean, even like a friend's case with ripped pants, changing that into a coat or a bag or even something simple like a fabric bracelet, choker, or headband saves it from going to a landfill.
I know consignment shops like goodwill take used clothing and resell it, usually mark it up too to make a profit. But Why do that when you can have someone send you their clothes and either go "I want it recycled and sent back to me." or "I want you to keep what i send and when you recycle it, give it to someone that doesn't already have it."

General | Posted 9 years ago I know people have lives outside of facebook, outside of the internet. But for some people, that's all they have...
The ping of a message being sent...
the little green circle beside your name showing up...
gives them hope that maybe they do matter to someone...
but at the end of the night... they fall asleep alone. On a cold bed, under their blankets. Dreaming of the nightmares from when disappearing seemed like an easier option than continuing forward..only to wake up and remember that option doesn't exist anymore... that time has passed and you're trapped in a world that doesn't care how you feel and doesn't care that you exist.
I know some people might dismiss this message and just keep on scrolling, but know... there are people out there in the world... some where... some... time... who takes time out of their life...to give to you...to care about you...
It doesn't matter how near or far they may be..
It doesn't matter if they're in your arms tonight, or half way across the world...
You matter.
You're here for a reason.
You might not understand why yet... but to that person that cares... you exist.
So don't give up hope that someday... you'll be shown that you matter. that someone cares for you...in a way you might have never expected.

My Holiday Wish
General | Posted 9 years agoI have one constant wish for Christmas... To have the world see people not by a gender label...But by their personality and as a person. If you're an asshole, you're an asshole. If you're a sweetheart, that's what you are.
Growing up Cis only to discover that being yourself costs you friendships and relationships...I, personally, am still trying to find my true self. Who I really am..And who I want to have the world know me as in my grave and on my tombstone.
I know life and death are rough topics for some people..But those are the only certainties in our lives. YOU have to be the one to write the story in-between the covers of your book of life. One chapter, one page at a time.
I want to thank everyone in my life and even if I've either upset you, or became a great friend with you...Thank you for walking this long journey over these mountains and valleys and rivers that make up my road called life.
Happy holidays everyone. From just a simple Succubat...
