A little update
General | Posted 19 years agoBrowsed my older archives for goodies to post. Well, there's one of the first aquarelle/pencil pieces in the ordinary gallery and a number of stuff I put in scraps.
Springtime is approaching!
General | Posted 19 years agoSnow will be melting soon, my studies are in a bit of a cinch and everything is coming back to life, sooner or later..
Well, just wanted to blurt that out (and put the chrismas journal off the homepage).

Season's greetings. Answers? Questions!
General | Posted 19 years agoIt's soon.
And I haven't even created a wishlist for this overcommercialized, detached festival of variable religious importance.
Now let's take a different approach - If you were to give me a gift, what would it be? No obligation to actually deliver one, just doing a little poll. Everyone has their three questions, maybe I'll follow that route later. I'll just ask one for starters to see if I get any answers.
Even if you're not particularly religious (like me), have a nice seasonal holiday/festivity. Most countries/employers/families will be conforming to it anyway, so why bother making a fuss out of it?

The hot question everyone is asking - or not
General | Posted 19 years agoShould cubstuff be allowed on FA?
Uhh.. It had already been denied.
Personally I would say no, but it's up to the staff to make that decision. End of story :)

Music.
General | Posted 19 years agoWhat about it?
Movementers is us!
General | Posted 19 years agoWell, it's time for me to move out into my own flat. It's been a while in the works, actually, but the plan has been solidifying nicely in the last month. Or the last 3 weeks, that is.
Not sure whether it's a welcome change, but there's only one way to find out.
And yes, I do have a rather nice feeling about it. I'll have far more liberty into my dealings and dwelling than before, so..
I have tried to remain calm about it and have managed it on the surface level, but I guess I'm a bit anxious after all. Why would I be writing stuff like this otherwise?

Arrr, me Affinities' faster than ever!
General | Posted 19 years agoIt's like FurAffinity... on speed!
Wonderful job, folks. I thought I'd take this journal to just say thanks - for running a service like this, practically like charity!
A big hand (or paw) for a marvelous job. Favorable winds for yee!

Easy living
General | Posted 19 years agoMmh.
I've been taking things less seriously and having some breathing time from a lot of projects which seem to pile up - and when they do, they'll start stealing time from each other until nothing gets done.
So there - I'm taking a little pause from other hobbies and focusing on some essentials, and I have to manage certain projects in time until the schools start again.
But it's not a bad thing, taking some time to just inhale, exhale, think nice things, daydream about love - do a little sketch now and then, some other projects in the middle and then some renovating on the house...
Midsummer, young male, having a good time. Sounds good, doesn't it?

If only people would grasp hands and sing along
General | Posted 19 years agoI'm smiling in the very recent memories from a long, nice weekend with my love. He's such a wonderful, sweet and cute fellow, and we had a wonderful time. Sauna in the cottage, movies here in the suburban and a restful time in general.
I had been more than pining for him for such a long time... You know who you are, and how wonderful you make me feel. I hope I am enough to fulfill your expectations and won't ever feel like I've let you down, because that's the last thing I would ever want to do; Smoochies!
I'll cut a long story short, since it holds a lot of tension to me that is just too hard to put into words.
- - - - -
... and then into something that's recently been eating my guts.
World peace. It's a wonderful topic for conversation, but an unrealistic goal even if it shouldn't have to be so hard to achieve.
Bad things start in a small scale. Or rather large scale, perhaps even life-encompassing for those concerned. It's tough to try and intervene when two people, one a very long-timed and very fond friend of mine, and the other a recent discovery, have a problem in their relationship which is surely going to break them down eventually - mentally speaking - and then again, I can't really stand back and do nothing while watching that shit continue.
This one person, the more recent one, is having some personal problems but is unable to overcome them. I don't want either of them to be unhappy, but I wish there would be some sense in how he treats someone he claims to be his "mate". I'm full-burn angry at him for being such a tactless ba**ard, but I can't really blame him since he clearly isn't in control of himself and needs help outside of IRC relationships.
To the other side of that tough couple - you know who you are. I love you and want you to be happy - but at the present state, your other one is about to become the monster he claims he is and it will leave both of you in misery. He's not in control of himself.

Copyright, Copywrong, Copywossname
General | Posted 19 years agoThere seems to be an increasing amount of disagreement about what copyright really entails. This journal is not meant to be a focus for conversation, but a delightful infomercial instead. If you are bothered, interested or infuriated about copyright, please consult:
http://www.whatiscopyright.org/
So there. I do not wish to display stance toward any direction in any potential disagreement or dispute whatsoever.
This is not a journal one should be responding to, if you are wondering. Do respond to the other journals, and preferably on topic, too.
Dwagins be blessed.

Rolling again!
General | Posted 19 years agoPicked some new paper up, a bit heavier than usual. Unfortunately they didn't have heavyweight paper in a smooth clay finish, so I'll have to do with the rougher ones.
They hold water better than the paper I previously used, but for "clean" looking ink/pencils work the paper should be a bit smoother. I'll have to try and see how it works with the rough paper.

Life triumphs
General | Posted 19 years agoI'm alive but in a really poor shape. I'll probably be having this day for some R&R and then I'll be back in shape again. Perhaps today would be a good day to colour one thing I have in the works.
The coming weekend is certainly a nice thing to wait for, and I'm looking forward to it with excitement and few expectations - not waiting for anything special but going to enjoy the time together.
I suppose today would be a good day to add another few pages to my summer log, a thing I'm writing on a typewriter. Having a hard copy about something is reassuring these days. It isn't going to disappear in a HDD crash or anything.

A full weekend ahead
General | Posted 19 years agoAnd there'll be plenty of work in it for me. Arranging stuff from friday until early monday, if the schedule manages to hold.
Bleh.
Bleh.
First journal entry
General | Posted 19 years agoAdded some of my scribblings into this gallery here. I've been hoping to display some of my stuff online, but haven't really made a gallery outside of a few random posts on a few random bulletin boards.
This journal thing might come in handy. I'm typing one for myself for this summer on paper, just some random feelings and general events.
The following few weeks will be a bit busy, though I'm rather hopeful about the midsummer. My luv's working like a lunatic at a labour camp (or something) and I hope there'll be time for us to meet.
Mmm-mm.
I've still got some catching up to do; perhaps some of the stuff in the gallery should be in the scraps and otherwise. This FurAffinity widget has plenty of (read as "too many") handy functions, and I've only scritched the top of the heap.
