Female Black Metal Artists
General | Posted 14 years agoThis journal will be used to make tributes to the several female black metal artists and bands out there. So far, I can only find two--one from Iraq and one from Japan--but I am always on the lookout for female contributions to the most hateful form of music there is.

NSBM - The Night and the Fog
General | Posted 14 years agoFor those of you who don't know, NSBM is nationalist socialist black metal.
There are three volumes of The Night and the Fog, all of which are a collection of some of the most brutal NSBM artists out there. Temnozor, Absurd, Woods of Fallen, and more all make appearances in these three terrifying CDs.
Although many of the songs themselves are atmospheric or instrumental in nature, there is no doubt that these albums are ideologically driven. The bands and the artists who comprise them have views which unite them regardless of their particular heritage, political, or religious views. Russian, German, and other bands are represented well in The Night and the Fog.
These three albums can be found easily online. I have thoroughly examined the second two volumes and have concluded that though I don't really buy into their ideologies, these guys have created an iteration of black metal that is just as pure, hate-filled, and terrifying as what Burzum and Mayhem were doing back in the early 90s.

Cry
General | Posted 14 years agoFrom the dark and devastated lands of Hyderabad, India, comes a band called Cry. Headed by a suicidal genius known only as I, this one-man DSBM act implements brutal growls, slow riffs, and the occasional blast beat to spread the message of grimness, sorrow, and self-hatred.

Janaza
General | Posted 14 years agoFrom Baghdad, Iraq, comes an anti-Islamic black metal band. It's a one-man--or should I say, one-woman act that is the product of a tortured soul known only as "Anahita". Her lyrics are predominantly Satanic and anti-Islamic, and her alias isn't just something she's taken on to be badass--if her identity was released to her society, she would certainly be killed.
Her album is titled “Burning Quran Ceremony” and you can DL it here. It has been released for free for the pleasure of all of us who dare to oppose Islam.
