July Sketch Stream #1 (NSFW) on Saturday!

The time has come again to make a sketch stream. Grab your characters and let's meet on my Picarto channel on Saturday, July 1. I'll start at 10 am CET time.

Since I do sketch streams, I always hope I can do more than 4 or 6 sketch but it always appear to be it isn't really possible. I always on it to do more, but I still need to learn how to be effective and don't stuck in sometimes at unnecesarry details.
RULES:
If you’d like to participate, there are a few things you should keep in mind. Read the rules carefully please C: Help me to make things go smoothly.
It will be the first come, first served method. There would be 4 slots at the start.
- Paypal only, USD only
- Please don’t claim a slot if you don’t have the right amount of money to pay right away after the work.
- Prepeare your references and be ready with your ideas if you have any. DO NOT send me an e-mail. Maybe FA note is okay, but it should be short. I more prefer to discuss the details in the public chat room, or in whisper, whichewer you prefer.
- Stay simple! The result will be a little sketch, so I won't be able to do complicate things, plus, the time is limited. I'd like to spend around one hour on a sketch.

New Patreon Reward and Exclusivity!

I'm happy to anounce that the 10$ tier on my Patreon just got a new reward, and that is Patreon exclusive streams!
That tier was made so you can get WIP and progress pictures about the Patreon contents, like comics and vote winners. Because you already see from the WIPs what will be on the final pictures, I tought it would be cool if I could actually show how those pictures are shaping. And with this I'm hoping to achive one other thing, to be able to talk and chat with my dear supporters more :) I still have problems with communications, and I hope these private streams will be nice to talk with you guys :)
And there is another thing about the content exclusivity on my Patreon. So far, all of my Patreon content got published after a week I uploaded them there, but from now on, the exclusivity will be TWO weeks. So all of you who support me on Patreon, you'll get to see everything two weeks ahead of everyone else :)

[ORIGINAL] The reason why I’m writing this message is because I would LOVE if anyone who has the official Hollow Knight comic (or comics) would like to share with me some way. I’m a HUGE fan of the game, and when I was facing the fact, that if you didn’t support the project back on Kick Starter, you won’t be able to get the comic book in any way. If this is the sad truth, and I can’t buy it because it was only an exclusive content, then I thought I would ask your for help. I just hope, if there is any of you who would be so generous to share the comic with me, or if you have a clue where I can buy it, or just read it. If there’s no chance to buy, but you have the comic, and would like to send to me, then write me a private message on DeviantArt, or FurAffinity, and I’m available via e-mail by zummeng@gmail.com. April Sketch Stream #1 on Thursday!

The time has come again to make a sketch stream. Grab your characters and let's meet on my Picarto channel on Thursday, April 6. I'll start at 10 am CET time. The last sketch stream was two weeks ago, so this count as a record for me, as I remember I never did another one sooner.

Since I do sketch streams, I always hope I can do more than 4 or 6 sketch but it always appear to be it isn't really possible. I always on it to do more, but I still need to learn how to be effective and don't stuck in sometimes at unnecesarry details.

Things went finally better than I thought

I thought I make a little update about how my things went in the last week. In my previous journal I told I started to registrate my commission business to be able to pay taxes, and live from art legally. I tried to tell in details what kind of difficulties I went trough by not getting the needed informations and ect., and I stucked at some point. I talked with another tax consultant, and she said the same what I felt through the whole procedure till now. In all the offices the people didn't want or had time to hear me out, what I really want to achive, or what's my work exactly is. This is the second tax consultant I talked with, and I must say, she was more understnding than the previous one, and I felt she was honestly interested in my work and my difficulties because I'm a beginner. I left her office with relief and happiness. She took the papers and did all the needed paperwork, but the best feel was, she understood me, and asked some personal questions too.
To sum it up, it looks like the hardest part of the bureaucracy difficulties is finally over for me! I'm sooooo happy! Finally I became a sole trader, and I can run my small business in piece. Well, I had piece in general, but with this move, I have papers to prove what I'm doing, and where my money comes from. Long time ago, I had the urge to rub my achievment under my parents nose who never believed in me, but years ago I lost my interest in that. I'm trying not to waste energy on the past or negative things. I learned the lesson that it's more worth to put in my energy to art than prove things to other people. Though sometimes I play around with these thoughts, but nothing more. I proved myself many things in the past years, and I'm quite happy about it.
Well, the things turned pretty well, and my fears about many things become less, though I'm sure I never can get rid off all of my anxieties. I still can stress too much about small things, see bad omens, afraid of being more social, and other childish things. But it's way more better than years ago, thanks to all of you guys. Your understanding and patience toward me made me a better person and artist. Thank you for all the care I've got in this topic, it felt extremely good, there are many people who's trying to holding my back compared everyone has their own difficulties. Thank you again!

In commission wise, I don't have any news yet. I wanted to open in the end of March, but we will see. I'd like to finish my current ones, and then we will see how my things will go. If you have any question about it, my door is open.

Sigh... When will it end?
General | Posted 9 years agoFrom the moment I was able to stand on the ground financially, and my income became stronger year by year because of the commissions, I though it will be a good choice to registrate as a sole entrepreneur (if it's the right phrase in english). One of my biggest dream was to live from art, legally. I'm already proud how far I've got, (manly because of your eternal kindeness toward me by the tons of commissions), but I started to be afraid to get into troubles because of the taxes. I did not want to risk anything. And I was proud of myself because of this decision, because I felt it's a right thing I can do for my future (to provide my pension too.)
When I started the administrative procedure, I thought okay, I can do it, I can get help, and things went quite smoothly compared to that I'm a total newbie in the subject. Until this month. After we got new directions from the tax consultant who was always so helpful, I realised something isn't right. After I visited all the offices I would needed, I've got more and more paper I should fill up. That's still not a big deal. But after carefully reading through them, I become more confused as I tried to understand them. "But I already did this, in the previous office. But this paper says, I won't... what does this mean exactly?" and more and more questions arised, and now I totally feel like an idiot. The offices pushed me always here and the there, but almost every single place I've got different answers to my problems. And on top of that, maybe the tax office gave the wrong papers after their employee didn't listen to me through. To make it short, I become totally confused and I hope the tax consultant can help me, because I can't decide now, what's the right thing.
I already knew this procedure was going to be hard, because I don't have much experience. I did many rounds back and forth between 4 offices for months, and I become really frustrated and a bit hopeless in the end. It feels like with every step forward I make two steps backwards. The offices didn't really care what I really wanted, and what I really do, no matter how many ways I explain it. My problem isn't that the law is long and difficult to understand (but it is, and I'm sure it's on purpose...), and I need to care of a bunch of things, but everybody explaind everything in MANY different way, and I've got uncertain answers from experienced people what should I do next, or they just simply forgot to say, oh wait, there's another paper you should fill up. This is Hungary for you....
To sum it up, these weeks have put to the proof of my nerves, and it's not easy for me to maintain my motivation to drawing anyway. This procedure became really time consuming, and I REALLY hope it will worth the time and will end soon! Well, if I'll finally be able to become a sole entrepreneur, it will mainly affect my personal life, not much will noticable from the outside. It's mostly a personal life goal to proof myself things, and become more proud and gain some experience. Ans when everything will be settled, I'll be officially living from drawing, and wouldn't have to worry about taxes, and my future.
Thank you if you had patience reading through all of this haha! I really appreciate it. I intended this like a kind of life update, and currently I have some legal difficulties. ...Hope it won't last too long. Somehow I'm sure everybody have more nerves for legal matters than me.

Actually… I really wanted to do sketch streams before, but in the past half year I had just too much things to take care of. Important Patreon goal changes

I’d like to notify you guys about some goal changes on my Patreon. In the last month I carefully considered things, and I realised the goals I appointed doesn’t reflect my effort and the time they need to make. I wanted to change the goals earlier, but I was uncertain what the changes should be. I spent the first week of January to sum them up, and now I can introduce my new goals.
Let’s see them : ) I hope these changes will be acceptable for you all. Of course I’d like to hear your opinion if you have any, or any other constructive advice is welcome. I’m still shaping my Patreon. It has its bastions, but a few things and details are still not settled.
First goal: I increased the required money from 250 to 550, and when this is achieved, then I can made monthly one full detailed picture. It’s content could be: safe for work, artistic nudity, or +18 mature content, so possibly anything. But the characters will mostly be furries or other creatures, in fantasy, real life or science fiction environment.
At the begginning I promised weekly 2 comic pages for 250 USD for all my patrons, that was the only goal I had for months. But let’s be honest… 8 page per month is just a ridiculous amount of work for 250 USD. It would have been overwhelming, considering I make comic comissions around 100 USD per page. But the 4 pages per month, and a full detailed picture would cost 550 USD anyway. I find this much more reasonable, and I wouldn’t lose my motivation. ^ ^
Second goal: For 750 USD I could make for you TWO detailed, rendered pictures per month.
The furter goals are not considered yet, maybe when I pass the 550 USD mark.
That’s all about the changes I wanted to make. I hope they will work! There will be other big/small changes in the future.
By the way, no matter what changes I make in the future, there will be no negative influence in the pledges. That means you might get extra things for your money, but you will never get less than right now.

General | Posted 9 years agoI felt I need to say thank you guys for your support on Patreon. I know I pretty often say thank for things, but at least it's better than saying nothing, isn't it? I could barely work on any commissions in December because of the holidays, and I suffered from a lack of motivation as well because of other stuffs. I was low on funds, but your support on Patreon helped me out from this financial difficultie. And this is a really big thing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, but not just for that. Thank you for the lot of care I got from you in comments to my recent works. (`･ω･´)

Xmas 'n stuff
General | Posted 9 years agoOn 23th of December, I said to my fiancé: "I hope Santa will bring Doom for Christmas". I realised only after a few sec how awful it sounded, and I laughed so hard for a few min because of my stupid joke. By the way, I've got the Doom game I wished for. XD
Anyway, I just wanted to wish for a pleasant and peaceful holiday for you all. I planned a small gift for you guys, and I hope I can finish it in the next few days. I could have finished it earlier, but I couldn't help to try out my awesome new games that I have now. >.> I was so busy playing with them. I mean I still am... But still you can look forward for a small Christmas gift in the coming days. ;)

Patreon stuffs and some personal matters
General | Posted 9 years agoI should have mention this sooner, but somehow I didn't have any spare time to do it. But better later than never. So I could finally solve my Patreon issue, and now my new sopporters have to pre-pay for my works, and this way I can avoid the frauds. (The Patreon support were infinitely patient and kind toward me when I asked my questions, and they told me how to get to this feature.) If you are already supporting me, this change doesn't have any affect to your pledge, but new supporters will be charged on the day they become my patron. If you want to choose a higher reward, then the difference between your previous pledge level and your new pledge level will immediately be charged. If you want to decrease your pledge amont, nothing will happen, no fee or refunds. In short, that's all if somebody didn't know these yet.
There's another little change. I came up with an idea for my first goal. As you guys se (especialy who follow me on FA), I really like making comics, and it would be awesome if I could focus more on personal comics. I would be in heaven if I could do 2 pages per week for my currenty comic project. Wow, that's my number one dream, entertain myself and you with my stories. I don't want more yet.

I was a little depressed because of some changes in my personal life, and mentally I was so exhausted I couldn't do any work unfortunately. Now he can't be with me at home because of his work, and dozens of things changed. In a good and bad way as well. Sometime I hear here and there, couples need to spend some time separated. But we are not like that at all. In short I was in a so melancolic mood in the last week, and I rather tried work on personal projects and shaping my Patreon a little. Now I feel a little better, and I'm ready for work in the next week.

Serious Patreon changes
General | Posted 9 years agoHey Guys! I realised that serious changes are needed on my Patreon to work a little better. I have carefully tought through my possibilites, and I came up with something to make more value for the money you give for my content.

The changes are really significant, so I would ask everyone who supported (and will) to check the new rewards.
- I completely remade the previous rewards and I added two new ones.
- From now on, the Patreon is the first place I’ll upload almost all of my works, and they will be shared on other social medias only a week later.
- IMPORTANT: I could’t set up this setting yet, but probably in December I will be able to change the paying method, and everyone will get the content afther they’ve payed. This way I can avoid frauds. I’ll write about this when I get this option, I need to wait a bit for it, at least that’s all I can do right now.
If you already support me, feel free to change your reward, this is evident. But if you aren’t satisfied with the changings or anything else, you can leave, I won’t be offended. If you stay, then I’m greatful for your support, it means more to me than you think!

Fraud Patrons
General | Posted 9 years agoI just started my Patreon, and I'm not a well known artist yet, and I really didn't know much about advertising. I'm totally okay with not having many pledgers yet, I like what I'm doing, and I know everything takes time, and currently I can't give my max effort and time to my Patreon, because of the commissions I have. But I just don't understand how can one-third or half of my pledgers to be frauds, and I don't know why these people want to steal that little I worked for. It's not that I don't have money to avoid misunderstanding, it's not about that at all.
I stop here, I guess I need to stop being a crybaby and focus on the work. I can be really sensitive sometimes, and take things in a too personal way. I need to get used to this. But I'm really thankful for that 8 patron who can really appreciate what I'm doing. Thank you!

Patron Pledge Idea
General | Posted 9 years agoSO! I was thinking about making stickers? I don't know how many of you are into them, but I'm kinda exited to make decorations like this, so I'm thinking about making stickers on my Patreon sometime in the future. I'm planning to make this more interesting by doing naughty themes as well, like pinus, artistic nudity and some silly booby things, which probably will make them difficult to use because they'll be nsfw, but there will be censored versions too. XD Beside them I would create normal, sfw ones too.
Though I don't have any samples, I know the method how to create stickers. Last but not least, the pledge would be 7 or 10 bucks and you could get a few stickers per month. There would be different themes, sci-fi, fantasy, maybe some fanart and so on. I have a feeling that it would be great fun, but of course this is only my opinion.
If you have any constructive advice, any cool idea, go on, I'm listening. Or if you have questions, don't spare me.

General | Posted 9 years agoHundred thanks for the awesome commissions I've got from yuo folks! ^^ I feel so honored because of the lot of awesome characters. I should discuss dozens stuffs but I'm excited. I'd like stream commissions but currently I have technical problems :(
