So I was in the break room, enjoying my chips and soda when I overheard my co-worker talking about how their brother recently came out to their family. The person she was talking to then responded with how their sister was dating another girl. They then went on to say that the same sister was bi, and that because she was dating a girl, it didn't mean she was gay. Only that the person she was in love with just happened to be a girl. I was really proud to hear that from her.
They then proceeded to talk about how their other siblings where bi or gay, and the second person responded saying "It seems it runs in the family." To which I could not stop myself from saying "Not for long it seems!"
They looked at me for a moment before we all busted out laughing and then discussed adopting options and such. It was a nice day at work.
