So, every now and then, and I'm not entirely sure why, I delete a bunch of my stuff or deactivate my account. I think part of it is sudden depression and/or desire to withdraw from everything, or there is this fear that my furry art, especially the naughty stuff, is going to blacklist me from other artistic pursuits. I know one of my fears as an artist, or even as a person, is to just be forgotten or even never noticed to begin with.

I ask myself: do I want to be remembered for putting up naughty stuff (which I don't do a ton of, anyway) along with not so naughty stuff? However, at the same time, I enjoyed making it and don't want to just leave it on my hard drive or a folder tucked away on my shelves where it'll never be seen by anyone other than me (at least until I pass away, then possibly family or law enforcement would see how much of a weirdo I really was).

The other thing is, I don't really have other artistic pursuits. I know the thought of doing some grand work that the world would love passes my mind a lot, but I think that's probably just ego-driven and unrealistic. I draw when I want because it's a hobby for me. I don't want to do it 8-10 hours a day or under the thumb of someone else. I figure everything comes to light eventually anyway (look at Osamu Tezuka and his naughty mouse and snake-transformation art that was found a few years ago).

Anyways, enough rambling. I'm going to re-upload my old art today, but I don't want to give the impression I'm putting stuff up, then taking it off, and putting it up again to try and get more favs/views. I can't guarantee I won't have one of those moments of withdrawal again, but I'm going to try and just leave things up.

For record purposes, though I don't know if anyone even cares, you can subtract about a 100 favorites from my stats to get a more accurate number.
